      The term deconstruction in fashion was first used by Bill Cunningham at a magazine called "Details" in 1989, and Margiela held "The show for the spring "90" at Paris in October, which provided a turning point for the regular discussion on deconstruction in the fashion world.
      1. The disclosed expression deconstructs a fixed idea "One should naturally wear a under shirt inside outer garment." and indicated a decadent mood of deconstrucion corresponding with a new concept of beauty through double-faced values such as traditional beauty and decadent one, disclosure and concealment, chastity and unchastity, and stoicism and sexuality.
      2. The destructive and poverty expression derives from a punk look, the expression of social resistance, and was an permanent beauty refusing the traditional manners and practicality by destructing and tearing down clothes intentionally. In addition, a fixed idea of aesthetics was deconstructed by suggesting ambiguity between positive evaluation of 'creation' and negative one of 'destruction'.
      3. The deconstructive and analytic expression pursued for showing off the power of clothes seem to be partial and fragmental on the surface, but suggested a double-faced value by deconstructing our expectation to the creative truth and reconstruction.
      The deconstruction is a design expressed the dual character of recognizant alienated things. It is revealed the distinction between rationality and irrationality, beauty and ugliness, men and woman, and the West and the East by deconstructing. In brief, deconstruction in fashion is to reconstruct the traditional aesthetic principle, breaking away from the existing frame into an aesthetically open world. And it can be considered as great contribution to the value and development in fashion design by presenting a fundamentally different way to approach the design world.
