In the preface I itemized the technical subjects which are to de carried out through industrial courses by dint of sem i-conbuctors. Accodingly we are able to recognize the importance of semiconductors in our daily lifeboth at present and in future.
We pursuing conduction theory concerning semi-conductors,especially that of electricity in semi-condnctors in classical physics, The quantity which represents the electrical charateristic of a matter only remained as a matter constant, which is known experientially, in an equation. In other words, there was no decisive resolution about it. In modern physics, however, the quantum mechanics accomplished by M. Planck, E. Shro¨dinger and W. Herissenderg and the statistical mechanics developed by E Fermi and P. Dirae were successfully applied to molecule and atom.
Hereupon the basis of the theory of electron in solids was accomplished and the problem of electrical conduction was explained theoretically. In the historical study of semi-conductors, I generally mentioned the State of studies from 1933 (in this year semi-conductor entered the stage of Physics for the first time) till now (when transistors are available). In the second part, mentioning the theory of peculiar band of energy in each matter, and showing the characteristic resulted by invading of impurity level into it and explaing various movements of holes of electron by working of scattering, electric and magnetic light quantum upon it. I mentioned the import of electronic conduction in semi-conductors. I also explained the asymmetric electric conduction of semi-conductors, which is one of the important charactristics, showing the movements of electronic holes in P-N junction.
In the part of conclusion, I spoke of future position occupied by semi-conductors.
