국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 생명복제 기술의 현황과 전망을 기독교 윤리적 관점에서 고찰하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 생명복제 기술은 체세포 핵 치환 기술을 통해 다양한 동물 복제에 성공하였으며, 최근에는 원숭이 복제까지 이루어져 인간 복제의 가능성까지 논의되고 있다. 이러한 기술적 진보는 의학적, 과학적 잠재력을 지니고 있지만, 생명 존엄성, 인간의 고유성, 사회적 영향 등 다양한 윤리적 문제를 포함하고 있다. 이에 본 연구는 기독교 윤리의 기본 원칙인 인간 존엄성, 생명 존중, 창조 질서를 바탕으로 생명복제 기술을 평가하고, 이를 통해 생명복제 연구와 정책에 대한 윤리적 지침을 제언하였다. 생명복제 기술의 발전이 기독교 윤리적 원칙에 어떤 도전을 제기하는지, 그리고 기독교 윤리적 관점에서 생명복제 연구와 정책에 대한 제안은 무엇인지에 대한 심도 있는 논의를 포함한다. 이를 통해 생명복제 기술이 기독교 윤리적 관점에서 어떻게 평가될 수 있는지, 그리고 이러한 평가가 생명복제 연구와 정책에 어떤 영향을 미칠 수 있는지를 탐구하였다. 또한, 생명복제 기술의 발전이 인간 사회에 미치는 영향을 종합적으로 평가하고, 기독교 윤리적 원칙에 부합하는 방향으로 나아갈 수 있는 지침을 제공하고자 생명복제 기술이 사회적, 법적, 경제적 측면에서 미칠 수 있는 영향을 분석하고, 기독교 윤리적 관점에서 이에 대한 대응 방안을 제언하였다. 오늘날 생명복제 기술의 발전은 인간의 존엄성과 생명 존중의 원칙을 심각하게 시험하며, 기독교 윤리적 관점에서 지속적인 논의와 평가가 필요하다. 이를 위해 생명복제 기술이 인간의 고유성과 사회적 구조에 미치는 영향을 면밀히 분석하고, 이를 통해 생명복제 기술이 가져올 수 있는 긍정적 및 부정적 결과를 종합적으로 평가하였다. 나아가 생명복제 기술의 발전이 사회적, 법적, 경제적 측면에서 미칠 영향을 분석하고, 기독교 윤리적 관점에서 이에 대한 대응 방안을 제언하였다. 이를 통해 생명복제 기술이 인간 사회에 미치는 영향을 종합적으로 평가하고, 기독교 윤리적 원칙에 부합하는 방향으로 추진할 수 있도록 구체적인 지침을 제공하였다. 끝으로 생명복제 기술의 발전이 지구촌 사회에 미치는 영향을 종합적으로 평가하여, 기독교 윤리적 원칙에 부합하는 방향으로 나아갈 수 있는 지침들을 제언하였다.

The purpose of this study is to examine the current status and prospects of life cloning technology from a Christian ethical perspective. Life cloning technology has succeeded in cloning various animals through somatic cell nuclear transfer technology, and recently, even monkeys have been cloned, leading to discussions about the possibility of human cloning. These technological advancements hold medical and scientific potential but also encompass various ethical issues such as the dignity of life, the uniqueness of humans, and social impacts. Therefore, this study evaluates life cloning technology based on the fundamental principles of Christian ethics, such as human dignity, respect for life, and the order of creation, and proposes ethical guidelines for life cloning research and policy. It includes an in-depth discussion on the challenges that the development of life cloning technology poses to Christian ethical principles and the proposals for life cloning research and policy from a Christian ethical perspective. Through this, the study explores how life cloning technology can be evaluated from a Christian ethical perspective and how such evaluations can impact life cloning research and policy. Additionally, it comprehensively assesses the impact of life cloning technology on human society and provides guidelines for moving forward in a manner consistent with Christian ethical principles by analyzing the social, legal, and economic impacts of life cloning technology and proposing responses from a Christian ethical perspective. The advancement of life cloning technology today seriously tests the principles of human dignity and respect for life, necessitating continuous discussion and evaluation from a Christian ethical perspective. To this end, the study closely analyzes the impact of life cloning technology on human uniqueness and social structures, comprehensively evaluating the potential positive and negative outcomes of life cloning technology. Furthermore, it analyzes the social, legal, and economic impacts of the development of life cloning technology and proposes responses from a Christian ethical perspective. Through this, the study provides concrete guidelines for promoting life cloning technology in a manner consistent with Christian ethical principles by comprehensively evaluating its impact on human society. Finally, it comprehensively evaluates the impact of the development of life cloning technology on the global society and proposes guidelines for moving forward in a manner consistent with Christian ethical principles.
