      In this paper, I considered the specificity and differentiation of 『Simple School Japanese Reading』and 『General School Japanese Reading』. As a result, 『Simple School Japanese Reading』was a textbook for 1st and 2nd graders, but in terms of the level of Chinese characters actually learned, it can be seen that many Chinese characters at the level of 3rd and 4th graders of 『General School Japanese Reading』were learned. In addition, as a result of looking at the Chinese characters that appeared in 『Simple School Japanese Reading』, but not in 『General School Japanese Reading』, there were also Chinese characters such as the names of animals and plants that are not common, such as names of objects, objects, and people's names, but most of them have a large number of strokes, indicating that they are highly difficult. there was. In other words, the simple school was an affiliated school established in a remote rural area, but in terms of actual education, it was a system that had to complete the level of elementary education with two years of education, so the level of difficulty was irrespective of the emotional development stage of the learning child or the educational progress.
