This study was conducted to investigate the effect of yoga practice on health condition and quality of life from August 6th to September 13th 2012. The subjects who were practiced yoga for several duration were recruited from 10 health facilities located in Daejeon . They were asked for cooperation and accepted participation in this experiment with the recording method. They filled in the questionaries after yoga training by self administration method. 217 sheets out of 220 the questionaries were collected and 200 sheets with valid answers were used for the statistical data analysis. The results were as follows.
1. Degree of satisfaction in physical health increased as periods of yoga training(p<0.01).
2. Degree of satisfaction in psychological health increased as periods of yoga training(p<0.01).
3. Degree of satisfaction in social health increased as periods of yoga training(p<0.01).
4. Degree of satisfaction in quality of life increased as period of yoga training(p<0.01).
In conclusion, the more yoga training was done, the better satisfactions were given in physical health, peace of mind and personal relationship. Therefore, yoga practice is a mind and body practice that gives energy of life and affects quality of life.
