소련 시기 북소문학교류: 소련의 한국문학 번역가와 연구자를 중심으로 = Cultural exchange between North Korea-Soviet Union in Soviet period: Focusing on translators and researchers of Korean literature in the Soviet Union

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

The purpose of this study is to examine the people who did an important role in introducing Korean literature to the Soviet Union. This study examines which Soviet writers and scholars had a significant influence on the introduction of Korean literature to the Russian-speaking world from the 1950s to the early 1990s. I could find out what role it played in the translation of Korean literature. Although Korean literature is the main medium, this study focuses on the Soviet Union, not Korea. Korean literature was translated into Russian by the first generation of Korean linguists in the Soviet Union centered on the St. Petersburg Uni and the Moscow Uni, leading Soviet writers, and Koreans, and spread to various regions of the Soviet Union, allowing Korean literature to be studied and read in Russian-speaking countries. However, the only way to access Korean literature at the time was through North Korea. This work, which examines the aspects of translation of Korean literature during the Soviet period, will be a literary historical archiving project of overseas Korean literature related to the translation and publishing business of Korean literature to Russia, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe, and the special characteristics of countries that experienced the Soviet period in the past. It will function as basic material to provide a multi-faceted basis for publishing Korean literature.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

이 연구의 목적은 한국문학이 소련에 소개되는 데에 중요한 역할을 한 인물들을 살펴보는 것이다. 1950년대부터 1990년대 초까지 소련의 어떤 문인들과 학자들이 한국문학 러시아어권 소개에 중요한 영향을 미쳤으며, 한국문학 번역에 있어 어떠한 역할을 하였는지 그 경로들을 찾아보고자 한다. 한국문학을 주요 매개로 하지만 이 연구의 시선은 한국이 아닌 소련을 기준으로 하고 있다. 한국문학은 상트페테르부르크 학파와 모스크바 학파 중심의 소련 1세대 한국어학자들과 유수의 소련 문인들, 고려인들을 통해 러시아어로 번역되었고, 소련의 각 지역으로 퍼져나가 러시아어권에서 연구되고 읽힐 수 있었다. 다만 문학교류에 있어서 당시 한국문학을 접할 수 있는 경로는 북한을 통해서만 가능했다. 소련 시기 한국문학 번역 양상을 살펴보는 본 작업은 앞으로 러시아, 중앙아시아, 동유럽권으로의 한국문학 번역, 출판 사업에 대한 해외 한국문학의 문학사적 아카이빙 작업이 될 것이며, 과거 소련 시기를 겪었던 국가들의 특수성을 살펴서 한국문학이 출판될 수 있도록 다각도의 근거를 마련할 수 있는 기본 자료로 기능할 것이다.
