통합상담적 집단수련 과정의 단어기반 언어분석: 한국어 글분석 프로그램(KLIWC)의 탐색적 적용 = An Analytical Study of Language used by Group Members vs Group Leaders Manifested in the Integral Group Verbatim

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

Using the KLIWC, Korean version of LIWC(Linguistic Inquiry and Word Count), a psychological letter analyses program, present study explored the language patterns of group leaders vs group members and 1st half vs 2nd half of the ‘Integral Counseling’ group(Lee, 2005; 2009) as manifested in their video-taped verbatim. The Integral Counseling may be characterized by in-session meditation & yoga exercises, acceptance and commitment to own problems, commitment to cooperative community sense of values and practices. The major findings of the study were; firstly, language used by the group leaders(n=3), as compared with group members(n=5), were considerably more certainty-communication-positive oriented in the 1st half of group process. secondly, language used by the group members, as compared with group leaders, were considerably more emotional and negative expression in the 2nd half of the group process. Implication of the results and limitation of the study were discussed.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 최근 LIWC(Linguistic Inquiry and Word Count)라는 ‘심리학적 글분석 프로그램’을 적용하여 사람들이 사용하는 언어적 양식을 고찰하려는 시도와 관련하여, ‘통합상담적 집단수련’ 축어록에 나타난 집단지도자와 집단구성원의 사용언어를 집단과정의 전반부와 후반부별로 구분하여 그 특징을 탐색적으로 비교분석하였다. 통합적 집단수련의 특징은 심신통합을 위한 명상 및 요가동작의 도입, 심리적 고통의 수용 또는 함께하기, 사회공동체적 의식 및 관련행동의 강조, 그리고 인간본성의 복귀 등을 중요한 치료적 기제로 보고 있는 바, 이러한 비언어적 활동들이 구체적인 언어표현으로는 어떻게 나타날 것인지를 탐색적으로 살펴보는데 연구의 초점이 있다. 주요 분석결과로, 집단지도자들은 집단구성원들보다 집단과정 전반부에서 확신-의사소통성 언급과 긍정적 언급들이 많았고, 집단구성원들은 후반부에서 집단지도자들보다 정서적 언어와 부정적 성격의 언급들이 많은 것으로 결과로 나타났다. 끝으로 본 연구의 의미와 한계를 논의하였다.
