사도행전 13:16-47에 나타난바울의 선교적 설교의 해석학적 고찰과 적용 = A Hermeneutic Study and Application of Paul’s Missional Preaching in Acts 13:16-47

This thesis aims to expose the concept of ‘God’s redemptive mission’from the perspective of Reformed mission theology by hermeneuticallyexamining of Paul’s missional preaching in Acts 13:16-47. As Paul’spreaching within the Book of Acts looked back on the history of Israel andcited proof-text from the Old Testament, it is similar to the speeches ofPeter(2:22-36; 3:12-26) and Stephen(7:2-53). Paul proclaims that the Messianicprophecies in the Old Testament were fulfilled through Jesus’ comingto earth and his death, resurrection, and ascension. Paul’s speeches areregarded as a representative model of ‘missional sermon.’ In such context,Paul’s preaching offer the following points in missionary application. First,missionaries should value the Bible’s hermeneutics, which presupposes theauthority and inerrancy of the Bible. Second, missionaries must understandthe audience and their culture to spread the gospel. Third, missionariesshould avoid misunderstanding or distortion of messages for effectivecommunication, and preach the gospel in a skillful rhetorical way. Theseprinciples are essential elements for missions of contextualization. Therefore,this paper does not simply look for the concept of ‘Mission of God’(MissioDei) from the perspective of monotheism or religious pluralism. Instead,the paper establishes the definition of God’s mission from the perspectiveof Reformed mission theology, which insists on ‘God’s redemptive mission’that presupposes the authority and inerrancy of the Bible.

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 논문은 사도행전 13:16-47에 나타난 바울의 선교적 설교를 해석학적으로 고찰함으로써 개혁주의 선교신학의 관점에서 ‘하나님의 구속적선교’의 개념을 드러내는 데 목적이 있다. 사도행전 내에서 바울의 설교는 이스라엘 역사를 회고하며 구약성경의 증거 구절(proof-text)을 인용했다는 점에서 베드로(행 2:22-36; 3:12-26)와 스데반(행 7:2-53)의 설교와 매우흡사하다. 바울은 구약성경의 메시아적 예언이 예수 그리스도가 이 땅에오셔서 죽음, 부활 그리고 승천을 통해 성취되었음을 선포한다. 이런 바울의 설교는 대표적 ‘선교적 설교’의 한 모델로 간주된다. 이런 맥락에서,바울의 설교는 다음과 같은 선교적 적용점을 제공한다. 첫째, 선교적 설교는 성경의 권위와 무오성을 전제하는 성경해석학을 중시해야 한다. 둘째, 선교적 설교는 복음전파를 위해 청중과 그들의 문화를 이해해야 한다. 셋째, 선교적 설교는 효과적인 의사소통을 위해 메시지의 오해나 왜곡을 피하고, 능숙한 수사학적 방식으로 복음을 전해야 한다. 이 같은 원리는 상황화 선교를 위한 필수적 요소들이다. 그러므로 연구자는 ‘하나님의 선교’(Missio Dei)의 개념을 단순히 유일신관이나 종교다원주의의 관점에서 찾지 않는다. 오히려 그는 하나님 선교의 정의를 성경의 권위와 무오를 전제한 ‘하나님의 구속적 선교’를 주장하는 개혁주의 선교신학의 관점에서 정립한다.
