성인대학생의 성인지 감수성이 심리사회적 성숙도에 미치는 영향 : 대인관계의 매개효과 = The Impact of Adult College Students' Adult Sensitivity on Psychosocial Maturity : Mediating Effects of Interpersonal Relationships

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 성인대학생의 성인지 감수성이 심리사회적 성숙도에 미치는 영향과 이러한 영향에서 대인관계가 어떠한 매개효과를 발휘하는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 성인대학생의 심리사회적 성숙도에 미치는 영향 요인으로 성인지 감수성을 원인 변수로 설정하였으며, 이러한 변수 간의 관계를 확인하고 대인관계의 매개효과를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 본 연구의 대상은 대구광역시 및 경상북도에 위치한 4개 대학에서 학습 중인 총 671명의 성인대학생 대상으로 조사 및 분석을 실시하였으며, 연구결과는 다음과 같다.
첫째, 본 연구의 주요 변수인 성인지 감수성, 대인관계, 심리사회적 성숙도 수준을 5점을 만점으로 하여 조사한 결과, 성인지 감수성은 M=3.24점, 대인관계는 M=3.57점, 심리사회적 성숙도는 M=3.39점으로 나타났으며, 전체적으로 보통 이상의 수준이었다.
둘째, 성인대학생의 일반적 특성에 따른 차이에서 성인지 감수성에는 여성, 연령은 40∼50세 미만, 가족의 월 소득이 200만 원 미만, 거주지역은 대도시, 거주 형태에 따라서는 부부가 거주하는 대상자들이 가장 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 대인관계에서는 남자, 연령은 40∼50세 미만, 결혼상태는 기혼자, 거주지역은 대도시지역일수록 높은 수준으로 나타났다. 심리사회적 성숙도에서는 성별이 여자, 연령은 40∼50세 미만, 거주지역은 대도시, 직업은 전문직에서 가장 높은수준으로 나타났다.
셋째, 성인대학생의 성인지 감수성은 심리사회적 성숙도와 대인관계 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 그리고 성인지 감수성과 심리사회적 성숙도 관계에서 대인관계의 매개효과를 검증한 결과, 대인관계를 매개로 하여 심리사회적 성숙도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.
이상의 연구결과에 따르면, 성인대학생이 사회적 상호이해 관계 속에서 균형 있는 발전을 촉진하며, 사회적 존재로서 필요한 조건을 충족시키며 인간으로서의 심리사회적 성숙도를 함양하기 위해서는 학업 과정이나 사회활동에서 성별에 따른 차별을 방지하는 것이 중요하다는 결론이 도출되었다. 이러한 노력은 성인대학생들이 더욱 성숙하고 포용적인 사회구조 안에서 더 나은 삶을 살아갈 수 있도록 도움을 줄 것으로 기대된다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study was to investigate the effect of Adult College Students' Gender Sensitivity on Psychosocial Maturity and what mediating effects Interpersonal Relationships demonstrate in these effects. To this end, Gender Sensitivity was set as the cause variable as a factor influencing Adult College Students' Psychosocial Maturity, and the relationship etween these variables was confirmed and the mediating effect of Interpersonal Relationships was empirically analyzed. The tudy involved a total of 671 adult college students from four universities located in Daegu Metropolitan City and yeongsangbuk-do, and the research results are as follows:
First, the main variables of this study, namely Gender Sensitivity, Interpersonal Relationships, and Psychosocial Maturity levels, were surveyed on a 5-point scale.
The results indicated that Gender Sensitivity scored M=3.24, Interpersonal Relationships scored M=3.57, and sychosocial Maturity scored M=3.39. Overall, the levels were generally above average.
Second, differences based on the general characteristics of Adult College Students revealed that, concerning Gender Sensitivity, females, those aged under 40-50, families with a monthly income below 2 million won, residents in metropolitan areas, and individuals living as couples exhibited the highest levels.
In terms of Interpersonal Relationships, males, those aged under 40-50, married individuals, and those residing in etropolitan areas showed higher levels. For Psychosocial Maturity, females, those aged under 40-50, residents in etropolitan areas, and individuals in professional occupations demonstrated the highest levels.
Third, it was found that Adult College Students' Gender Sensitivity had a positive (+) effect on Psychosocial Maturity and Interpersonal Relationships. And as a result of verifying the mediating effect of Interpersonal Relationships in the relationship between Gender Sensitivity and Psychosocial Maturity, it was found that Interpersonal Relationships mediate the impact on Psychosocial Maturity.
According to the above research results, it was concluded that it is important to prevent gender discrimination in cademic and social activities in order to promote balanced development in social mutual understanding, meet the necessary conditions as social beings, and foster Psychosocial Maturity as humans. These efforts are expected to help Adult College Students live better lives within a more mature and inclusive social structure.
