As eco-friendly demands increase, the trend in the global automobile industry is developing eco-friendly vehicles of electric powertrain. In this paper, we study on tooth micro-geometry modification by considering gear wear pattern. We measured NVH of In-Wheel assembly after total endurance test of In-Wheel vehicle. We analyzed the cause of In-Wheel assembly noise and compared noise before and after durability. We made 3D tooth wear model based on measurement data for gear wear conditions. Using Romax designer, we analyzed load distribution and transmission error values. The dynamic contact load value before and after wear was compared to confirm the change in NVH performance in dynamic state according to wear.
