영웅과 토큰 - 조안 로빈슨 경제학의 특징과 기여 그리고 한계 = Heroine and Token : The Characteristics, Contributions, and Limitations of Joan Robinson's Economics

국문 초록 (Abstract)

본 연구는 세계적으로 유명하지만, 무엇을, 어떻게 연구했는지는 한국에서는 잘 알려지지 않은 조안 로빈슨의 삶과 경제학을 소개하고, 로빈슨 경제학의 기여와 특징그리고 한계를 조명한다. 특히 그녀가 어떻게 유리천장을 깨트리고 ‘케임브리지학파(Cambridge school)’의 핵심 인물이 되었는지를 분석한다. 이를 통해 남성 주도의경제학계에서 여성을 희생양으로 이해하는 일반적 견해와는 다른 시각도 가능함을로빈슨 사례로 살펴보면서 여성학자 연구의 객관성과 공정성 문제를 환기한다. 연구의 순서는 다음과 같다. 먼저 로빈슨의 삶과 학문 세계의 전개과정을 살펴본다. 다음으로 로빈슨 경제학의 특징을 알아본다. 그리고 로빈슨 경제학의 기여와한계를 살펴본다. 아울러 로빈슨 경제학에 대한 재평가를 위해 로빈슨에 관한 몇가지 논란을 소개한다. 마지막으로 그녀가 어떻게 유리천장을 깨뜨릴 수 있었는지를 살펴본다. 연구의 방법은 로빈슨의 저작과 로빈슨에 관한 2차 자료에 관한문헌 연구를 주로 한다.

다국어 초록 (Multilingual Abstract)

This study introduces the life and economics of Joan Robinson, a world-renowned figure, yet little known in Korea for her research and methods.
It also sheds light on the contributions, characteristics, and limitations of Robinson's economics. Specifically, it analyzes how she shattered the glass ceiling and became a key figure in the ‘Cambridge School’. Through Robinson's case, it demonstrates the potential for a perspective different from the prevailing view in the male-dominated field of economics, which views women as victims.
It also raises questions about the objectivity and fairness of research on female scholars. The study proceeds as follows: First, it examines Robinson's life and the development of her academic career. Next, it examines the characteristics of Robinson's economics. Next, it examines its contributions and limitations.
Next, it introduces several controversies surrounding Robinson's economics to reevaluate it. Finally, we analyze how she was able to break the glass ceiling.
The research method utilizes a literature review of Robinson's works and secondary sources related to Robinson.
