The purpose of this study is to propose a teaching-learnig way for the Korean honorific expression focused on the expressive effects. This study is meaningful in that Korean Advanced learners could propose performative activities that utilize and reflect on the effects of height expression in their daily lives beyond understanding the honorific expression. To accomplish this purpose, at first, the educational contents of honorific express effective was confirmed. At this point, this study arranged curriculum contents of Korean language education which is a related study of Korean education. Then, the pedagogical contents of the expressive effects in the honorific expression was constructed. Based on the pedagogical transformation theory, the contents of Korean educational materials of the existing honorific expression were analyzed critically, and the pedagogical contents of the honorific expression focused on the expression effects were presented. Based on these pedagogical contents, this study proposed learning activities of the honorific expression focused on expressive effects. A dialogue in which grammatical elements of the honorific expressive effects were prominently used was constructed, and activity questions were devised to explore the effects of the honorific expression.
