The ego(self) mythology of today pedagogy had established in 17th century by the subject of the eastern modernity who has believed that idea as an unchangeable “Magna Carta”. After the era, the ultimate goal the eastern pedagogist has pursued was concentrated on strengthening the educatee's immature ego for attaining healthy individuality. But at the time when the eastern ego-centrism was collapsed, the traditional eastern pedagogy focusing only on the strengthening ego and the development of cognitive ability has to be revised. So we, Asian scholars, are charged with the mission for mutating the ego-centric subject to altrui-centric one. The East Asian culture has preferred the plastic subject reconciliable with other existences in this universe to the concrete one. Thought this traditional quality of East Asia culture was the main reason making them fall behind the eastern one in the modern times, especially at the time when the modern subject has to be deconstructed creatively, that characteristics was relieved as a significant tradition has to be researched and excavated newly. We, identifying these new phases as the altruism of the East asian culture, believe that the Asian traditional altruism will give a next chance or alternative to all humankind through the ex-colonialism without rolling in clumsy nationalism. On the basis of these theoretical schemes, we would cast a look at the novel genre which has been developed as the most ego-centered work. And we would present the historical fact that Korean traditional novels have been formed from the trans-egoistic ground that transcends the ego-centrism of the modern eastern novels. This suggests that the diaspora appeared in the East asian literature could disrupt the cultural system of the east has focused only on the ego-centered life. From this point of view, the East asian traditional novels including various asian novels in Chinese letters could be estimated as a new model for cultural education. 현대 교육학이 신화처럼 맹신하는 자아의 신화는 17세기 서구 근대 주체에 의해 성립되었다. 이에 따르자면 교육의 목표는 피교육자의 미숙한 자아를 강화하여 건강한 개인성을 성취하도록 하는데 모아질 수밖에 없다. 그러나 개인 자아의 강화 그리고 이를 위한 인지 학습 능력 발달에만 치중한 서구 중심의 교육학 이론은 서구 문화의 주체 중심주의가 와해되면서 새롭게 수정되어야 할 시점에 도달했다. 이는 근대 서구의 산물인 자아지향적 주체를 타자지향적인 주체로 전변시켜야 할 사명을 우리에게 부과한다. 동아시아문화는 강력한 자아 대신 타자와 융화하는 탄력적인 주체를 선호해왔다. 이런 타자지향성은 근대화 경쟁에서 동아시아를 뒤처지도록 만든 핵심이었는데, 근대 주체를 해체해야 하는 현재에 이르러서는 오히려 새롭게 조명하여 그 가능성을 발굴해야 할 소중한 전통으로 부각되고 있다. 우리는 이를 동아시아 문화의 타자성으로 명명하면서 바로 이 타자성이야말로 동아시아 탈식민화가 섣부른 네이션 담론에 휘말리지 않으면서 동시에 인류 문화에 새로운 대안을 제시할 기회를 제공할 것이라고 믿는다. 이상의 이론적 구도 하에서 가장 주체지향적인 양식으로 발전해 온 소설 양식을 간략히 검토하고, 특히 한국의 전통소설 양식이 서구소설의 특징인 자아지향성을 초월한 탈자적 지점에서 형성되어 왔음을 제시했다. 이는 더 나아가 동아시아 문학의 이산적 속성이 자아에만 집착해 온 서구중심의 문화 체계를 분열시킬 수 있음을 암시한다. 그런 견지에서 한문소설을 비롯한 동아시아 전통소설은 문화 교육을 위한 실험 양식으로서 새롭게 평가될 수 있다.

허균 전(傳)에 나타난 불온(不穩)한 인간상의 문제 -누아르적 세계의 등장과 타자의 서사-

I, by this essay, investigated experimentally the possibility of reinterpretation on the biographic proses written by Heo Gyun through reflecting established studies and modifying the focus of research. For these goals, I explained how the disquieting heros in Heo Gyun`s biographic proses were differentiated from the ones in another novelist`s works who was born before him. In this study I quoted the theory of disquieting literature issued by Kim, Soo Young who was modern poet and critic in the early 20th century and emphasized the innovative characters toward modern society laid in Heo Gyun`s works. These innovative characters could be detected by accompanying with the aesthetic viewpoint not by only the political discourses. So I emphasized repeatedly that the characters appeared on his works are not the persons who can develop in the time and constitute their own life actively, on the contrary they are the altruic subjects who escaped from, intentionally or not intentionally, the subject-strategy of the power and so constitute anti-subject by wasting their life. These beings fall under the shadow in the 17th century`s shade and shadow system, as it were they are the beings in the noire. They made themselves the altrui of the medieval age by being as non-being in the dark side and Heo Gyun summoned them by the bright form Geun(傳) to exposure the true character of his world. For these reasons, in the 17th century, there are coming a new space which are crowded with diverse altruis or different persons. This was the thing that Heo Gyun pursued, the aesthetic of chaos and liberation.

Dopo la liberazione di Auschwitz, per quarant`anni Primo Levi si e dedicato con tenacia allo scrivere come testimone-autore cercando di guardare oltre il campo di sterminio e di capire la natura umana. In tutte le sue opere non solo quelle della Testimonianza, quali Se questo e un uomo, La tregua e I sommersi e i salvati, ma anche le altre, quali Il sistema periodico, La chiave a stella, L`altrui mestiere ecc., possiamo vedere che lo sguardo dello scrittore torinese si rivolge sempre verso l`interno dell`uomo attraverso il prisma di Auschiwitz. Questo suo sguardo e di colui che e pieno della curiosita e della buona volonta di voler capire: uno sguardo rivolto verso l`altro. Il sistema periodico e L`altrui mestiere, testi analizzati in questo articolo, dimostrano la passione umanistica dell`autore e le sue vastissime curiosita in vari campi della letteratura, della zoologia, della chimica, dell` entomologia, dell`etimologia, ecc. e ci conducono a scoprire Levi come uno scrittore creativo, ingegnoso e sensibile. Questo articolo cerca di analizzare le caratteristiche della scrittura di Primo Levi. Negli scritti di Levi basati sulla profonda comprensione dell`uomo e su una perspicacia acuta, troviamo un eccellente esemplare di scrittura chiara, concisa e piena di una raffinata sensibita morale che riesce a commuovere, a coinvolgere il lettore e a trasmettergli il suo messaggio. Le opere di Levi ci colpiscono anche con la bellezza di tale sua scrittura.
청소년의 불안, 회피애착과 학교폭력 방관·방어행동 간의 관계에서 이타성의 매개효과

The purpose of the present study was to examine the relationship between adolescent’s anxious and avoidant attachment and outsider and defending behavior in school bullying, and further to investigate the mediating effect of altruism on the relationship between attachment and outsider and defending behavior in school bullying, based on the previous research on the relationship between attachment and helping behavior. The participants were 741 students who were the 2nd or 3rd grade from 3 middle schools located in Seoul and Gyeonggi area. Based on collected data, we examined the relationship between variables and specified a model of SEM which showed a mediating effect of altruism on the relationship between anxious and avoidant attachment and outsider and defending behavior in school bullying and tested whether the hypothesized model fits the collected data. The results of this study are as follows. First, an anxious and an avoidant attachment was correlated positively with outsider behavior and negatively with defending behavior. Second, altruism is correlated negatively with outsider behavior and positively with defending behavior. In addition, an anxious attachment and an avoidant attachment were negatively correlated with altruism. Third, with a Structural Equation Modeling, the results showed that more avoidant attachment was associated with less altruism, which had a positive indirect effect on outsider behavior and a negative indirect effect on defending behavior. On the other hand, as for an anxious attachment, anxious attachment had a positive direct effect on outsider behavior and a negative direct effect on defending behavior. Additionally, there was a mediating effect of altruism on the relationship between outsider behavior and defending behavior. We discussed the implications and limitations of this study for future research based on these findings.
가족건강성이 아동의 자아존중감 및 친사회적 행동에 미치는 영향

The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of the family health on the self-esteem and pro-social behaviour of children. The objects were 422 children who were 5th and 6th grade in primary school. The questionnaires were collected between June and July in 2006. 'I'-test, Pearson's correlation and hierarchical multiple regression were used for data analysis. The results are as follows: First, the family health is higher than the average and also the self-esteem and pro-social behaviour of children are higher than the average. Second, the higher family's economic and parent's educational level, the higher family health and self-esteem of children. In addition, Female children have higher pro-social behaviour than male children. Third, family health has positive correlations with self-esteem and pro-social behaviour of children. Furthermore there is a positive correlation between the self-esteem and pro-social behaviour of children. Fourth, the self-esteem and pro-social behaviour of children are strongly influenced by the family health. As a consequence the family health is the principal variable which influences on the self-esteem and pro-social behaviour of children. This study shows that the healthy family support program is necessary in order to build up the positive self-esteem and pro-social behaviour of children.
『포의교집』에 나타난 근대적 욕망 구조 -안티고네적 희생과 히스테리 사이-

Cho-ok, the heroin of Poeuigyojip overcome the typical love grammar of the classical narratives structurally. Her desire that reconstructs perversely the process of realizing the desire of the women expresses symbolically that the establishing mode of the woman identification is dislocated from the previous habitual structure. The desire Cho-ok embodies in the novel denies the passive forms that contacted and ignited by the males. Most of all, it follows the spontaneous way ignited and inflaming for itself. For that reason, Cho-ok is the being selecting herself, not the being selected by others. Moreover, she is declined to enjoy her unique female jouissance ultimately through the excessive sacrifice which surpluses the critical point of the desire her partner expects. This female jouissance intends toward the ethics of the sublimation breaking through the previous ethical regulation. The topological position of Cho-ok`s desire presents the independence of personality that surpasses the previous female subject designed to desire the other`s desire. The previous being is hysterical subject, on the contrary the latter is pervertive subject. Of course, the sexual perversity is the serious syndrome but behind all the revolutionary cultural overturning the rule of the perversion dominates profoundly. So, the way how the female jouissance surpasses the sick and old ethics of the middle age couldn`t but being perversive and critical. This was just the genuine mode of loving in Han-yang in the 19th century.
함께 책 읽기와 재화 선호도의 상호작용이 청소년의 이타적 행동에 미치는 효과

언어적 의사소통을 동반한 협업은 이타적 행동을 촉진할 수 있는 요소라고 알려져 있으나(Dunbar, 2003; Smith, 2010), 이것에 대한 경험적 검증은 이루어진 바 없다. 음악적 협업이 성인들의 이타적 행동을 증진한다는 연구가 존재하지만, 이것이 음악의 효과인지 아니면, 가사와 같은 언어적 요소 때문인지도 명확하지 않았다. 본 연구는 이러한 선행연구의 한계를 보완하고, 이타적 행동을 증진시킬 수 있는 활동의 다양화에 기여하기 위해 이루어졌다. 특히 청소년들을 대상으로 연구를 수행함으로써 청소년 대상 인성교육 등에도 시사점을 주고자 했다. 또한 언어적 협업을 ‘함께 책 읽기(한 페이지씩 돌아가면서 읽기)’로 조작적으로 정의한 후, 이것이 이타적 행동 증진에 미치는 효과를 확인해보았다. 아울러 사전조사를 통해 청소년들에게 선호도가 높은 재화(사탕)와 낮은 재화를 구분한 후, 각각의 재화를 나눠주게 했을 때, 선호도의 차이에 따라 이것을 나눠주는 개수가 달라지는지 확인해보고자 했다. 이를 위한 연구 1은 한 공부방에 재원중인 16명의 청소년을 대상으로 절반은 함께 읽기 조건에, 다른 절반은 각자 읽기 조건에 무작위로 할당하였고, 각 조건별로 다시 절반을 나눠 선호도가 높은 사탕을 나눠주는 조건에, 다른 절반은 선호도가 낮은 사탕을 나눠주는 조건에 무작위로 할당하였다. 이타적 행동은 자신이 받은 사탕을 같은 공부방 친구들(내집단)에게 나눠준 개수를 통해 측정하였다. 연구 2는 또 다른 공부방에 재원중인 청소년 16명을 연구 1과 동일한 방식으로 조건별 할당한 후, 다른 지역 공부방 친구들(외집단)에게 사탕을 몇 개 나눠줄 것인지 결정하는 방식으로 이타적 행동을 측정하였다. 결과적으로 연구 1과 연구 2 모두에서 함께 책을 읽은 조건 청소년들(M연구 1 = 5.50, M연구 2 = 5.88)이 각자 읽은 조건 청소년들(M연구 1 = 2.63, M연구 2 = 3.00) 보다 많은 사탕을 나눠줌을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한 연구 1과 연구 2 모두에서 함께 책을 읽은 조건 청소년들은 선호도가 높은 사탕(M연구 1 = 5.25, M연구 2 = 6.00)과 낮은 사탕(M연구 1 = 5.75, M연구 2 = 5.75)을 나눠준 개수에 차이가 없었지만, 각자 책을 읽은 조건 청소년들은 선호도가 높은 사탕(M연구 1 = 1.75, M연구 2 = 1.50)을 낮은 사탕(M연구 1 = 3.5, M연구 2 = 4.50)보다 적게 나눠주는 상호작용이 나타났다. 본 연구는 언어적 협업이 이타적 행동 증진에 미치는 효과를 검증한 드문 연구라는 점에서 이론적으로 시사점이 있으며, 음악적 협업 중심으로 이루어져왔던 이타적 행동 증진 활동을 책 읽기와 같은 언어적 활동으로 확장했다는 측면에서 실용적 함의가 있다.
조선 후기 남성훼절 서사에 나타나는 섹슈얼리티의 양상 -정념(情念) 담론에서 이익(利益) 담론으로-

This article pursued the changing process of the modes structuring sexuality in the 19th century Chosun dynasty by investigating the narratives of forgoing one man`s integrity. The narratives occurred in the literary world till the 17th century were restricted by the discourse affirming the pure passion between man[hero] and woman[heroin], believing the power of their pathos. On the contrary, the narratives after the 18th century, especially the prosaic discourses symbolized by the story that man forgoes his integrity moved the principal axis toward the interest-discourse. In that dicourse condition, the love relation between man and woman was set up through the seduction plot unfolded by a man of high birth and a singing and dancing girl. The appearance of a singing and dancing girl as the object of man`s passion didn`t mean only the exchange of a narrative material. The change of the heroin`s character, at last, changed variously the positions of the man and woman in the sexual relationship. In this article, I explained the topic in three dimension, `constructive exterior`, `sanitation and self-preservation discourses`, `accidental sex as the investment and exchange.` These dimensions, thought they are differentiated by the concrete phases, ultimately are same each another in the meaning that they are the examples proving the fact that the sexualization of love and sex had happened in the level of the exchange economy.
