강원 지역 문화 연구의 새로운 방향 : 좌표와 연구 방향의 재설정을 위하여

본고는 지구화, 지방화 시대의 강원 지역 문화 연구의 좌표와 연구 방향 재설정을 목적으로 한다. 먼저 오늘날 강원문화 연구는 1) 역사와 전통 연구, 2) 현대 문화 연구, 3) 지역 문화 정책과 관련된 연구 등으로 대체로 세 가지 주제에 주안점을 두고 이루어져 왔다가 할 수 있다. 한편 이러한 강원문화 연구는 ‘무엇을 위한 강원 문화 연구인가’라는 질문에 대한 답으로 연구의 대상과 목표를 재설정하는 작업이 필요하다. ‘문화는 우리를 만들고, 우리는 문화를 만든다’는 두겹의 시각으로 다음과 같은 연구들이 필요하다. 1) 과거의 기억의 복원과 잊혀진 가치의 발굴을 위한 연구, 2) 주민의 일상 생활 이해를 목표로 한, 현금의 강원 문화의 실상 연구, 3) 일상 생활에서의 주민들의 창조성 제고와 다양한 문화적 욕구를 충족할 수 있는 문화적 환경 조성을 위한 연구, 4) 환경과 자기 존재를 연결시키는 문화를 창조하기 위한 연구, 5) 문화발전과 지역 발전을 연계시키기 위한 방안 모색을 위한 연구, 6) 미래의 지역문화 구상과 정책수립을 위한 연구들이 바로 그것이다. 이러한 강원문화 연구를 재구축하기 위해서 다음과 같은 것들이 필요하다. 지역주의와 지방성의 극복을 위해 연구 주제에 대한 관심 전환과 시야의 확대가 필요하다. 또한 지역 문화에 대한 전문가와 인력이 크게 확충되어야 한다. 또한 다양한 분야 전문가의 참여와 제휴에 의한 학제간의 연구 등의 통합적 연구 방법이 필요하다. 그리고 지역의 전반적 문화 수준을 높이는 연구를 지역 문화 연구의 잠정적 목표로 삼아야 할 것이다. 현재 필요한 지역 문화 연구는 문화의 개념을 확대하는 문화연구가 필요하다. 강원지역 문화의 현실을 총체적으로 이해하기 위한 지역 문화연구, 지금까지의 연구를 한 단계 끌어올릴 수 있는 문화연구, 지역 문화 발전을 위한 문화 담론의 활성화가 필요한 시점이다.

강원도 문화산업의 발전전략

문화가 사회 전반을 좌우하는 중심적인 힘으로 전면에 떠오르면서, 지역문화산업 육성은 지역경제의 발전, 지역문화의 활성화, 지역사회의 통합을 동시에 가져올 수 있는 중요한 발전전략이 되고 있다. 지금까지 지역문화산업에 대한 많은 연구들은 전국적 차원에서 지역문화산업의 문제에 접근함으로써 일반화된 문제점과 대안을 제시하는데 그쳐왔다. 이 연구는 기존의 지역문화산업에 대한 연구들이 지역적 특성을 고려하지 못한 일반화에 머물렀던 한계에서 벗어나, 강원도의 지역적 특수성에 기초하여 강원지역 문화산업의 발전전략을 제시하고자 하였다. 이 연구에서는 지역적 특수성, 장소성을 중심으로 강원도 문화산업 발전전략이 수립되어야 함을 강조하고자 하였다. 즉 첨단문화산업에 집중된 지역문화산업 육성정책의 한계를 지적하고, 장소와 문화의 소비라는 관점에서 서비스형 문화산업을 발전시키는 것이 지역문화산업의 발전에 효과적인 전략이 될 수 있음을 제시하고자 하였다. 이러한 기본적인 입장에서 지역정체성의 발굴과 이에 기초한 문화콘텐츠 개발, 문화산업의 지역적 특화와 기능적 연계, 지역문화산업 네트워크 구축, 지역문화정책, 산업정책과 연계된 통합적인 문화산업정책의 수립 등을 강원도 문화산업의 발전전략으로 도출하였다. The objective of this study is to find region-specific development strategy for local cultural industry of Kangwon region. The empirical investigations of local cultural industry are carried out to achieve this objective. Based on the empirical findings, this paper emphasizes the need to design development strategy in terms of consuming culture and place. For the development of local cultural industry, this study presents four recommendations; ① the effort to find regional identity and develop cultural contents on the basis of created identity, ② the regional specialization of local cultural industry and functional relationship, ③ the construction of regional production network of culture industry, ④ comprehensive plan for developing local cultural industry including the culture and industry policy. The present study concludes with suggesting some future studies to overcome its limitations.

조선후기 강원도읍지의 한일 양국 소장 현황과 해제

조선후기 강원도에서는 중앙정부나 강원감영이 주도하여 여러 차례 강원도읍지를 편찬하였다. 강원도 지역의 읍지는 ‘규장각 지리지 종합정보’ 사이트가 가장 많은 51종을 탑재하고 있다. 한국교회사연구소 여지도서(강원도편)은 1760년에 편찬한 것이며, 국립고궁박물관의 환수문화유산 (각도)읍지(강원도편)은 1773년지 12개와 1832년지 14개로 구성되어 있다. 국립중앙도서관의 관동지는 1823년 강원감영이 주도하여 편찬한 것이며, 규장각의 관동읍지(규12172)는 1871년 강원도 26개 고을에서 편찬한 읍지를 강원감영에서 모아 성책하여 보고한 것이다. 장서각의 26종 31개 읍지는 1899년에 편찬한 ‘강원도 각군읍지’이다. 일본 덴리대학 이마니시문고의 일부 읍지는 규장각 후사본 읍지의 저본이다. 일본 동양문고 관동읍지는 후사본으로 「간성군지」(1-2)를 제외한 모든 읍지가 1843년경에 제작한 읍지를 베낀 것이다. 일본국립국회도서관 관동도지는 동양문고의 관동읍지와 수록내용이 대부분 같지만, 일부 항목이나 내용을 생략하였으며, 선생안의 재임시기 등을 간단히 하였다. 이 기관의 강원도읍지는 1882년경에 편찬한 읍지를 저본으로 하여 베낀 것이다. This article provided by presenting the current status of Korea and Japan collection of Gangwon-do-eupjis(Gyeongsang-do Provincial County Gazetteers) in the late Joseon Period, which I have grasped so far, and explains the eupjis. In the late Joseon Dynasty, the central government or or the provincial government led the compilation of the Gangwon-do-eupjis several times. Since there is no preface, it is difficult to know the compilation process of eupji(County Gazetteer), such as the compilation time of each eupji. However, if you approach it based on your understanding of the genealogy of the nationwide eupji compilation project, you can easily understand the changes in Gangwon-do-eupjis. When you secure the entire Gangwon-do-eupjis held in both Korea and Japan and examine it in detail by dividing it by county and item, your understanding of the Gangwon-do region in the late Joseon Dynasty will be enriched.

오정희 소설에 나타난 강원도의 힘

본고는 오정희의 소설 속에서 강원도의 문화가 어떻게 나타나고 있는지, 그리고 소설 속에서 강원도 문화의 가치를 어떻게 평가하고 있으며 빛내고 있는지를 살펴보고자 한다. 중년을 강원도 춘천이라는 소도시에서 보낸 작가의 이력답게, 오정희의 소설에서는 강원도 춘천이 ‘P'시, ’소도시‘이라는 이름으로 그려지고 있다. 「옛우물」 등에서 중년 여성의 기다림과 그리움이라는 일상적인 삶의 모습을 그려내면서, 춘천의 모습은 비정상적인 삶을 포용할 수 있는 따뜻한 도시로 나타나고 있다. 오정희 소설의 여주인공들은 진부하고 일상적인 삶 속에서 그것으로부터의 탈출의 욕구를 가지고 있으며, 그들이 감지하는 것이 바로 ‘죽음’이다. 그런데 이러한 죽음은 새로운 생성이 라는 이미지를 갖게 되는데, 이것은 ‘신비로움’이라는 불확실한 주관으로 이어지게 된다. 이러한 신비로움은 안개라는 이미지와 연결되며, 이에 따라 안개의 도시 춘천은 상실 뒤에 새롭게 움트는 생명의 신비로움을 간직한 도시로 묘사되고 있다. 한편 오정희 소설에서는 춘천과 춘천 근교가 그려지지만 그 실체가 모호하게 처리된다. 그러나 「破虜湖」에서는 양구, 화천, 함춘벌, 월명리, 상무룡리 등 구체적인 지명이 등장하면서 강원도 자연과 강원도의 문화가 자세하게 그려진다. 여기에서는 강원도 자연의 맑고 깨끗함, 강원도 사람들의 순수함 그리고 강원도 땅의 생명력이 그려지고 있다. Literature has been with people for long time since it has shown many kinds of human affairs dynamically. So it is very important to observe and reassess their lives through the literature. If culture has thought as an important part of human lives, the questing for a value and signficance of literature can get shine from our lives. Oh Jung Hee made her debut by 〈The lady of toy store〉on 1968 and then wrote four selections of short stories, 『The river of fire』(1977),『The garden of childhood』(1981), 『The spirit of wind』(1986), 『Fire work』(1996). The writer tried to look for the source of a storiesl from a daily experience, so we can see a poor plot when the source is ruminated and scent an uncertain world. Behind such a certainty and unauthenticity, there are many types of lives and hide two faces of the lonely, desolate world. Moreover there is the truth, too. Especially, we can see the true life behind the realities through the shape and people of Kangwon in her stories.The place names that often appear as 'Little city' or 'P city' in Oh Jung Hee's novels have a lonely message. 'P city' is expressed as a city where long wait and yearning change into loneliness and reminiscense. Sometimes the object of the wait is death, but it's not ignoble or gray because of the invisible warmness of the city, Even though there are a crazy girl, fool and epileptic in the city, the city is still warm as long as the abnormal keep their living actively. There is the warm truth behind the hard realities. Also, the city in the novel has a silent secret of foggy world. The death seems to be in the opposite of the life, but it is beside the life, too. The fog is unauthentic like the border between the life and death. The fog in the novel become a material that hides a mystery of life that springs up after the forfeiture. And the foggy Chuncheon in Kangwondo is such a city where there is a mystery of life. 〈Paro Lake(破虜湖)〉, Oh Jung Hee's novel shows Kangwondo to give a wish to the people clearly. The power that makes the husband of the leading character keep living and the leading character write a novel is in the Paro lake. The leading character gets the power to purify her life, awakes vitality and it becomes creative ability in the space of the clean water. The vitality belongs to Kangwondo and Kawondo's people. It is the power to lead the plot in the stories. The nature, lives and people are beautiful in Oh Jung Hee's storiesl. It the long naive beauty that is never satiated with easily rather than the instant gorgeous beauty. It is the subject of the beauty is to the truth, the more vital it is. This is the power of Of Jung Hee's stories

지역 축제로서 강원 웹툰 페스타의 성과와 과제 - 강원 웹툰 페스타 수상작 분석을 겸하여-

본 논문에서는 지난 2022년에 열렸던, 강원도 지역 최초의 웹툰 축제인‘2022 강원 웹툰 페스타’의 행사 구성과 수상작을 살펴보고, 지역 축제로서성과와 과제를 고찰하였다. ‘2022 강원 웹툰 페스타’는 웹툰과 관련하여 ‘2022 강원 웹툰 페스타 강원웹툰 공모전’ 수상 작품 감상의 장, 배움의 터, 공연의 장 세 가지 틀로 프로그램을 구성함으로써 지역 웹툰 축제로서 정체성을 잘 드러내 보여주었다. 강원 웹툰 페스타 웹툰 공모전 수상작들은 장르 양상면에서 장르 복합 양상, 판타지물과 다른 장르와의 결합 양상이 나타났으며, 상대적으로 여행물이 많았다. 지역과의 연관성 측면에서는 역사적 풍속·전설·사실 등을 소재나 모티프로활용하여 판타지 등 다른 장르로의 전환을 꾀한 경우, 개그물이면서도 판타지요소를 넣고 동시에 지역 이미지 제고에도 초점을 맞춘 경우 등이 눈길을 끌었다. 작품 완성도 면에서는 단편임에도 불구하고, 구성이 탄탄하고 매우흥미로운 전개를 펼쳐 보이는 작품들도 눈에 띄었으며, 가능성을 보여준작가, 작품들이 눈에 띄었다는 점에서 고무적이다. 2022 강원 웹툰 페스타는, 강원지역에서 웹툰을 활용한 지역 축제로서첫걸음을 내디딘 행사라는 점, 강원지역 웹툰 축제로서 가능성을 보여주었다는점, 강원지역 웹툰 작가 발굴의 장으로 기능하면서 강원지역 이미지 제고에도이바지할 수 있었다는 점에서 많은 성과를 거둔 행사임이 분명하다. 그렇지만, 행사의 지속성, 행사 개최 시기, 행사 개최 시간, 수상작에 대한 접근의 어려움, 지속적 향유 기대의 어려움이라는 과제 또한 안게 되었다. In this paper, we examined the event structure and award-winning works of the ‘2022 Gangwon Webtoon Festa’, the first webtoon festival in the Gangwon-do region held in 2022, and examined the achievements and challenges as a regional festival. The ‘2022 Gangwon Webtoon Festa’ clearly demonstrated its identity as a regional webtoon festival by organizing its program into three frameworks: a place to appreciate the winning works of the ‘2022 Gangwon Webtoon Festa Gangwon Webtoon Contest’, a place to learn, and a place for performances. The winning works of the Gangwon Webtoon Festa webtoon contest showed genre complex aspects, fantasy and other genre combination aspects in terms of genre aspect, and there were relatively many travel stories. In terms of regional connection, cases where historical customs, legends, and facts were used as materials or motifs to transition to other genres such as fantasy, and cases where gags included fantasy elements while also focusing on improving the image of the region attracted attention. In terms of completeness of the works, there were also works that were short but had solid compositions and very interesting developments, and it was encouraging that there were writers and works that showed potential. The ‘2022 Gangwon Webtoon Festa’ is clearly an event that has achieved many results in that it is the first event to utilize webtoons in the Gangwon region, has shown potential as a Gangwon region webtoon festival, and has contributed to improving the image of the Gangwon region while functioning as a venue for discovering webtoon artists in the Gangwon region. However, it also has challenges such as the sustainability of the event, the timing of the event, the time of the event, difficulty in accessing the award-winning works, and difficulty in expecting continued enjoyment.
