Prediction of retained austenite fraction is quite important in designing advanced high strength steels since retained austeniteis the source of transformation-induced plasticity. The present study investigates the phase constitution of a medium-carbonQ&P steel by comparing various approaches to the transformation stasis of bainitic ferrite and applying them to the partitioningprocess. Among them, the modified GEB approach gave the best agreement with the experimental observation, includingthe effects of heat-treatment condition and chemical composition on phase constitution. This indicates phase transformationduring partitioning can be effectively described by the physics of Gibbs energy balance approach.
비정질 인듐갈룸ᅳ아연-산화물 박막트랜지스터 기반의 AMOLED 화소 회로

본 논문은 비정질 인둠ᅳ갈f ᅳ아연-산화물 박막트랜지스터 (a-IGZO TFT)를 이용하여 능동형 유기발광다이오드 (AMOLED)용 문턱전압(Vth )을 보상하는 화소 회로를 제안하였다. 산화물 TFT는 n-채널 TFT로써, 우리는 n-채널 TFT 특성으로 회로를 최적화하였다. 제안된 화소 회로는 회로 시뮬레이션 뿐만 아니라 회로 분석을 이용하여 확인되었다. 제안된 화소 회로는 AMOLED에서 구동 TFT의 문턱전압 변화를 보상할 수 있다. 제안된 화소 회로를 이용함으로써, 문턱전압 보상은 달성되었다. rhis paper proposes a tnresnold voltage compensation pixel circuit for active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AM OLED) using amorphous indium-gaUiimi-zinc-oxide thin-film transistors (a-IGZO TFTs), Oxide TFT is an n-channel TFT; therefore, we optimized the circuit for the n-channel TFT characteristics. The proposed pixel circuit was verified using circuit analysis as well as circuit simulations. The proposed circuit could compensate for the threshold voltage variations o f drive TFT in AM OLED. Using the proposed pixel circuit, threshold voltage compensation was achieved.

To embody secure systems in various devices, the effective implementation of the cryptographic modules optimized for various types of networks and equipment are required. To analyze an optimized data processing unit for energy consumption required for portable devices, we implemented and analyzed the AES hardware modules with various data processing bit widths (8, 16 and 32 bit) using a 0.35㎛ chip library.
Incidence of bullous pemphigoid in Korea : population based cohort study 2001-2016

Background: Bullous pemphigoid (BP) is an autoimmune bullous disease and its incidence increases in proportion to aging. But there are few reports focusing on the incidence of BP in Korea. Objectives: To investigate the incidence of BP and compare that with the pemphigus group including pemphigus vulgaris (PV) and foliaceus (PF) in Korea. Methods: The incidence of bullous diseases was retrospectively evaluated from all BP, PV, and PF cases in the Chonnam National University Hospital (CNUH) from 2001 to 2016. And we compared these results with statistical data from the HIRA (Health Insurance Review & Assessment service) Results: In total, 187 patients with BP, 68 patients with PV and 41 patients with PF were included in our study. The average value of yearly incidence in BP was 1.67 and it increased significantly over time in proportion to aging. And the risk for BP rapidly increased beyond age 60. In contrast, the incidence of pemphigus group did not show any significant change (PV: 0.22, PF: 0.19). This trend was similar to the results of statistical data from the HIRA. Conclusion: The incidence of BP in both our cohort and general population has increased significantly in the last 16 years, particularly since 2010. Because the structure of the Korean population is shifting towards the aging since 2010, more people are expected to suffer from BP in the coming decades.

Accumulation of unfolded proteins in the lumen of endoplasmic reticulum (ER) induces ER stress and activates signaling pathway called unfolded protein response (UPR) for relief of ER stress. In yeast and mammalian cells, an ER-located transmembrane receptor protein kinase/ribonuclease called Ire1 transmits the signal to the nucleus culminating in the transcriptional activation of genes encoding an adaptive response. Plants including Arabidopsis are also containing homologous genes. However, it has been unclear whether the homologous genes are involved in similar mechanism in plants. Arabidopsis ire1 mutant did not show different phenotype compared to WT in normal and stress conditions. However, induction of ER chaperone genes including Bip3 were significantly delayed in ire1 compared to WT. To further investigate the role of AtIre1 in plant UPR signaling, we overexpressed AtIre1 under the control of CaMV 35S promoter. The result indicate that AtIre1 is possibly involved in UPR signaling in plants. [Supported by EB-NCRC & BK21 program]
