본 연구의 목적은 신뢰가 정치참여(투표참여, 공직자 접촉, 선거운동 및 항의)에 미치는 영향관계를 정치효능감의 매개역할을 중심으로 살펴보았다. 본 연구를 위한 자료는 A시 지역주민 598명을 대상으로 한 설문조사자료(Korea Social Science Data Archive, raw data)이며, 구조방정식모형(Amos 20.0 및 Mplus 7.20)분석을 수행하였다. 구체적인 분석결과 내용은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 정부신뢰는 ‘투표참여’와 ‘공직자 접촉’에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 정치효능감 중 내적 효능감은 ‘공직자 접촉’, ‘선거운동’에, 외적 정치효능감은 ‘항의’에 대한 참여 유형의 유의미한 영향이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 신뢰와 정치참여간의 관계에서 정치효능감의 매개효과를 확인하였다. 본 연구에서 정치효능감이 신뢰와 정치참여의 관계에 중요한 매개역할을 하고 있음을 실증적으로 검증해낸 것은 기존의 연구에서 제시하지 못하였던 관계들을 다룬 것으로 이론적으로 더욱 확장한 것이라고 볼 수 있다. The goal of this study is to examine the effects of trust on political efficacy and political participation. To examine this, a survey-based study of 598 persons was conducted(Raw Data from Korea Social Science Data Archive). This study conducted Sobel test. And Structural Equation Modeling(SEM) by Amos 20.0 and Mplus 7.20 was used to test the hypothesized relationships in the conceptual model. From these analyses, the following results were obtained. First, Government trust is positively related to vote participation, public servant contact. Second, Internal-political efficacy is positively related to public servant contact and election campaign. External-political efficacy is related to protest. Third, Political efficacy has mediated effects on the relationship between trust and political participation. This finding has great implications for us to understand of trust on political efficacy and political participation.

우리나라 고등학교의 정신건강이 학업성취도와 학업중단율에 미치는 영향

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to explore the influence of high school students’ mental health on their academic achievement and school dropout rate by using longitudinal data. Methods: For this study, 153 high schools were randomly sampled on a nationwide scale. The descriptive data was collected from a school information internet site which is organized by the Korean Ministry of Education. We used the schools’ mean scores on the Adolescent Mental Health Problem-Behavior Questionnaire-II (AMPQ-II) scale which was used for estimating students’ mental health in the 2013 school-based mental health screening test. The data analysis was conducted by using hierarchical regression analysis. Results: The results of this study showed that the AMPQ-II scale’s mean scores have significant effects on the following year’s academic achievement and annual dropout rates. Especially, the AMPQ-II scale’s mean scores tend to increase the school dropout rate in vocational schools. Conclusion: The finding of this study is that Korean high school students’ mental health states significantly influence their academic achievement and school dropout rate.
