북한이탈여성의 문화적응에 나타난 정체성 협상: 개인적 측면을 중심으로

This study began with the need for social integration related with North Korean Defector Women, in that they initiate changes in the North Korean Defector society. It, therefore, aims to examine how individual identity is negotiated along with heterogeneous socio-cultural changes caused by the spatial migration of North Korean Defector, in terms of individuals, and clarify its meaning. To this end, it collected and analyzed from five North Korean Defector Women, by selecting them as the subjects and conducting in-depth interviews with them. The findings as follows: First, individuals' goals as life challenges for self-realization represent the desires to give self-esteem to themselves and to be recognized, though they are devaluated. Second, the agenda that North Korean Defector Womens pursue is belongingness. Although there is the structure of consciousness, which undergo psychological processes containing goals and values of groups, while distancing and consolidating through adaptation, it is also the change beginning from one's own perspective. Third, they show self-denial and self-recovery through life experiences and change their perceptions on themselves as independent individuals. This study suggests that a keen insight is required to see through the North Korean society, based on the life world of North Korean Defector Womens who try spatial changes as well as the differentiation from the past self and discover 'self' from their unconsciousness. 이 연구는 남북 사회통합에 관한 관심이 높아지면서 북한 이주사회 변화를 주도하고 있는 북한이탈여성에 대한 이해가 필요하다는 점에서 출발하였다. 이에 북한이탈주민의 공간적 이주로 이질화된 사회・문화적 변화에 따라 개인의 정체성을 어떻게 협상하고 있는지 개인적인 측면에서 검토하고 그 의미를 밝히는데 연구의 목적을 둔다. 이를 위해 북한이탈여성 5명을 연구참여자로 선정하여 심층인터뷰를 통해 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 연구결과로는 첫째, 자아실현을 위한 삶의 도전으로서 자기가치 부여와 가치절하 평가에 인정받고자 하는 인정욕구로 나타났다. 경력단절로 불안함을 보이지만 자기가치부여로 심리적 탄력성을 회복한다. 둘째는 북한이탈여성들이 추구하는 아젠다는 귀속의식으로 나타났다. 이는 적응을 통해 거리두기와 연대하기를 하며 구성 집단의 목표와 가치를 내재화하는 심리과정을 거친 의식구조가 존재하지만 이 또한 자기 관점에서 출발하는 변화이다. 셋째는 생애경험을 통해 자기부정과 자아회복, 그리고 독립된 개체로의 인식변화를 보여주고 있다. 이 연구를 통해 공간적 변화와 함께 과거의 자신과 차별화를 시도하고 무의식에서 ‘나’를 발견하는 북한이탈여성들의 생활세계를 통해 북한 사회 변화를 볼 수 있는 혜안이 필요함을 시사해주고 있다.
영어 독해력 평가를 위한 일지문 일문항(OPOI)과 일지문 다문항(OPMI)의 효과성 비교

Reading comprehension tests have played a critical role in many assessments of English language ability. Test items on a variety of English tests include one passage-one item (OPOI) principle to avoid the problem of local dependence. However, the effects of OPOI require more empirical investigation. This study examines the effects of OPOI compared to OPMI (One passage-multiple items) for an English reading comprehension test. The correlation between the OPOI score and a general English test as a criterion was compared with the correlation between the OPMI score and the same test. Two groups of students participated in this study: 76 high school seniors who had finished the 2020 CSAT and 94 sixth-grade elementary students. In the case of high school students, there was a stronger relationship between OPOI (.577) and the criterion test compared to OPMI (.403). Only the low- level students among the three groups of elementary students showed a higher correlation between the OPOI and the criterion test. Responses from a survey were also used to interpret the correlation results. The findings of this study imply that OPOI should be used more in school exams while it is advisable to use OPMI with caution to preclude local dependence.

2009 개정교육과정의 화학교과서에 제시된 Brønsted-Lowry 모델에 관한 설명과 예시의 문제점 분석

In this study, we analyzed the explanations and examples of Brønsted-Lowry model in Chemistry I and Chemistry II textbooks of the 2009 revised curriculum. In particular, the definition of the Brønsted-Lowry model, the examples, and the content of experiments were analyzed by the process perspective of chemical equilibrium, emergent process. The analyzed textbooks were 4 kinds of Chemistry I textbooks and 4 kinds of Chemistry II textbooks in 2009 revision curriculum. As a result, Chemical I textbooks did not adequately show the chemical equilibrium viewpoint when explaining the Brønsted-Lowry model. In the Chemistry II textbooks, the examples of Brønsted-Lowry model were not present emergent process viewpoint, and those were described as sequential viewpoint of Arrhenius model. In addition, examples of experiments to demonstrate the Brønsted-Lowry model of Chemistry II textbooks were insufficient. The experimental examples related to the definition of acid bases were at the level of classification by the color change of indicators. The experimental examples for explaining the strength of acid and base were to compare current intensity or amount of hydrogen gas generated from the reaction with metal. In addition, all textbooks presented the state of aqueous solution when describing the Brønsted-Lowry model, causing problems with differentiation from the Arrhenius model. Therefore, it is necessary to develop examples of experiments to help students understand Brønsted-Lowry model by presenting acid and base reaction in the non-aqueous solution state.
여성 스포츠아나운서의 은퇴 후 인플루언서 활동에 대한 내러티브 연구

This study analyzed the limitations experienced as a sports announcer, the process of deciding to retire, the transition to influencer, and the limitations and future prospects of influencer activities from various angles. The research participants consisted of six retired female sports announcers with various careers, including activities on terrestrial sports channels and as announcers. The data were collected through in-depth interviews based on interview sheets, and the results were derived through narrative analysis procedures. The research results showed that female sports announcers decided to retire due to unstable employment environments and difficulties in balancing work and family. After retirement, they naturally entered the influencer industry based on the recognition they had built up through their previous broadcasting activities and engaged in various activities such as advertising and brand product sales. However, stereotypes about announcers, a sense of responsibility as a public figure, and a male-centered follower structure acted as constraints on influencer activities. Nevertheless, the research participants showed a positive outlook on the future as influencers through strengthening their branding and professionalism. This study provides practical implications for the career development of female professionals in the sports media industry by deeply analyzing the phenomenon of retirement and career diversification of female sports announcers, and suggests ways to secure competitiveness in the influencer market.

Through the evolutionary process of the North Korean defector support policies, this research investigates the background behind the formation of non-profit organizations for the North Korean defectors and to identify and understand the problem through their characteristics and functions. Starting from 1990, with an increase in the North Korean Defectors’ population as well as the introduction of multicultural society, various environmental factors, such as the domestic socio-environmental changes, resulted an increase in number of private organizations. However, not to mention the size and functions of the organizations, some do not even have required legal organizational structures in place. Their business activities, in some cases, are irrelevant to the original purpose and objectives. Moreover, the fact that 83% of the North Korean Defectors Organizations are based in Seoul while 25.5% of the North Korean Defector residing in Seoul, inevitably make the reputation of the organizations to be illegal and dishonest due to the excessive level of competitions among the similar types of organizations. In reality, the organizations show lack of growth in the areas such as securing necessary employments to the Defectors or providing educations to the youth, who will eventually become the future leaders, in building the awareness capacity toward the unification. These results show that, in conducting their activities, the organizations must be aware of the rights and responsibilities as the constituents of the society, plus the government’s practical efforts in improving these issues are also necessary. 이 연구는 북한이탈주민지원정책의 변천과정에 따라 북한이탈주민을 위한 비영리단체의 등장배경을 살펴보고 비영리단체의 특성과 역할에서 나타나는 문제점을 파악하는 것이다. 1990년대부터 북한이탈주민의 증가와 함께 다문화사회의 진입으로 인한 국내사회환경변화 등 다양한 환경요인으로 민간단체들이 급증하였다. 하지만, 단체의 제도적 형식조차 갖추지 않은 단체도 있으며 사업목적과 다른 활동을 하는 경우도 있었다. 또한 서울 거주 북한이탈주민 전체의 수는 25.5%에 비해 북한이탈주민관련단체는 서울지역에만 83%를 차지하고 있다 보니 성향이 비슷한 일부 단체들의 과도한 영역경쟁으로 불법과 편법의 온상으로 변질된다는 목소리가 높을 수밖에 없다. 단체의 유형에서는 실질적으로 북한이탈주민에게 필요한 취업이나, 미래의 주역이 될 청소년의 통일의식함양을 위한 통일교육 분야는 미미하게 성장하고 있었으며 이러한 결과는 단체라는 활동은 사회의 한 구성원으로 권리와 책임의식을 가져야 하며 또한 문제 개선을 위한 정부의 실질적인 노력도 필요하다는 것을 보여주고 있다.
북한이탈여성들의 정체성 협상 –사회구조적인 측면을 중심으로–

The purpose of this study is to examine the identity of North Korean defector women with family members living in South and North Korea, which is changed in resolving conflicts which they experience in various interests, the inter-Korean relations, in socio-structural aspects and suggest a direction of improvement by investigating what is the essence of their interactions with the society. To this end, it attempted to deeply analyze the meaning of identity to be negotiated in North Korean defector women's life experiences by applying a phenomenal case study method. The following results can be consequently summarized: First, the conflicted identity which cannot escape from the boundary, the inter-Korean relations as a social norm sometimes may be’stranger’ in hostile relations, according to cold or warm inter-Korean relations. Second, the family community as social status and a social role, and social community spirit appear as responsibility. Remittance is the only negotiation instrument for the family community. Third, the identical nation was divided in terms of social customs, political spaces with a geographic boundary and cultural identity. North Korean defector women tend to be separated from their organizations, while being excluded by prejudices, based on perceptions on the conditions of belongingness, appearing from exclusion and exclusion. This shows the relational identity which does not allow them to escape from direct influence of the inter-Korean relation, though they successfully escaped from North Korea. The phenomena derived from such socio-structural factors suggest the need for improving the existing perceptions on the inter-Korean relation, at the level of socio-integration. 이 연구는 남한과 북한에 가족을 두고 있는 북한이탈여성들이 남북관계라는 다양한 이해관계 속에서 겪는 갈등을 조정하기 위 한 과정에서 변화하는 정체성을 살펴보고 사회와 상호작용의 본 질이 무엇인지를 검토하여 개선방향을 제시하는 데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 현상학적 사례연구방법을 적용하여 북한이탈여성 의 삶의 경험 속에서 협상되는 정체성의 의미를 심층적으로 분석 하였다. 그 결과, 첫째, 남북관계라는 경계에서 벗어날 수 없는 정 체성 갈등은 남북한의 냉온관계에 따라 ‘적대’ 관계에서 ‘이방인’ 이 되기도 한다. 둘째, 사회적 지위와 역할로서 가족공동체와 사 회공동체의식은 책임감으로 나타났다. 송금은 가족공동체의 유일 한 협상도구가 되고 사회역할에 대한 인식은 사회공동체의식이 존재하고 있음을 보여주고 있다. 셋째, 사회적 관습에서는 지리적 경계의 정치적 공간, 동일한 민족과 분리되는 문화적 정체감으로 나타났다. 포함과 배제에서 나타나는 소속의 조건에 대한 인식에 서 현실은 점차 편견 속에서 배척되는 느낌을 받으며 조직에서 분리되는 경향을 보인다. 이와 같이 북한을 벗어났지만, 남북한의 관계의 직접적인 영향권에서 벗어날 수 없는 관계적 정체성을 보 여주고 있다. 이러한 사회구조적인 요인에서 나타나는 현상은 사 회 통합적 차원에서 남북관계를 바라보는 인식개선이 필요함을 시사하고 있다.
중학생의 의사소통 능력 향상을 위한AI와 디지털 테크놀로지의 통합적 활용 방법의 효과

This study examined whether integrating AI and digital technology can enhance English communicative competence. A technology-integrated instructional method was implemented over 10 weeks with 168 ninth graders, using Gliglish, VoiceTube, Lyricstraining, Padlet, etc. Pre and post-tests, along with surveys, were completed to monitor improvements in English skills and changes in students’ attitudes towards learning English. In addition, 27 students were interviewed to explore the advantages and limitations of the technology-integrated instruction. The results were as follows. First, the paired t-test indicated overall gains in English skills, and statistically significant improvements were found in the beginner and intermediate groups, whereas the advanced group showed no significant change. Second, the survey results revealed that the application of AI and digital tools increased students’ interest in speaking English and enhanced learner motivation. However, students still lacked confidence in speaking English with other people, implying that a longer practice period is necessary. Third, technology-integrated instruction offered several advantages: increased opportunities for English conversation, interactions with human-like partners, reduced anxiety, and immediate feedback. Nonetheless, challenges were also reported, including the complexity of unfamiliar digital tools and initial adaptation difficulties. These findings suggest the need for systematic implementation and continuous teacher support for effective AI-integrated instruction.
교우관계를 통한 탈북대학생의 대학생활 적응에 관한 연구

The recent sociological interest on the unification of the Korean Peninsula is expanding onto the social adaptation of the North Korean defectors who are residing in South Korea. However, in reality, a re-defection to overseas due to inability to assimilate into the Korean society, so called “The Flee South Rush,” is becoming the social issue. Of these “South Re-defectors,” more than fifty percent have experiences with either college or company in Korea. Although the studies on the “North Korean Defectors' Social Adaptions” continue as always, the fact is that researches are lacking on the various experiences that these refuge students have to cope with in their college lives. The objective of this research is to investigate how peer relationship with South Korean college students affect and North Korean defector students' assimilation in their college lives. This research was based on the in-depth interviews conducted with five North Korean defector students who were attending colleges from the August 2013 through the March 2014. The research concluded that the peer relationship played an important role in instilling self confidence among the North Korean defector students. The intent of the research is not only to contribute in understanding the interrelationships and educational differences between the North and South Koreas students, but also to provide a suggestion in integration of North and South Korean education after the unification. 최근 한반도 통일에 대한 사회적 관심은 한국에 정착하고 있는 탈북자들의 사회적응에 대한 관심으로 이어지고 있다. 하지만, 한국사회에 적응하지 못하고 해외로 이탈하는 ‘탈남 러시현상’이 사회적 이슈가 되고 있는 실정이다. 탈남의 절반이상이 20대로서 한국에서 대학교나 직장경험이 있다는 것이다. 탈북자들의 사회적응에 대한 연구는 여전히 진행되고 있지만, 대학생들의 대학생활에서 겪는 다양한 연구는 아직 미흡한 실정이다. 이 연구의 목적은 대학생활 적응에 어려움을 겪는 탈북대학생들에게 있어서 남한대학생과의 교우관계가 탈북대학생의 대학생활 적응에 어떤 역할을 하는지를 탐색하는 것이다. 이를 위해 2013년 8월부터 2014년 3월까지 재학 중인 탈북대학생 5명과 심층인터뷰를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 연구 결과 탈북대학생에게 있어서 교우관계는 자아존중감을 구성하는 핵심요소로 작용하는 것으로서 중요한 ‘역할’을 하고 있었다. 본 연구 결과를 통해 남한대학생들 간의 교류 및 남북한의 교육적 차이를 이해하고 통일 후 남북통합교육을 위한 제언을 하고자 한다.
