Wonsoo Ha’s The Making of Civil Service Examination System studies the process of the formation of Keju(科擧), focusing on the following facts: the separation between ‘selecting a qualified literatus(擧士)’ and ‘appointing an official post(選官)’; the tension between emperor or state power as the selectors and literati i.e. shi(士) as the selected. This book reveals that it required longer time than presumed previously to establish the system. During this process, there was a gap between the system pursued by the dynastic power and the realities led by the shi. In addition, it emphasizes that the shi who preferred Jinshike(進士科) to Mingjingke(明經科) were quite independent actors, in some regards, taking initiative at the progress of the subsequent development of the system. With respect to the contents of this book, Jongseob Kim questions the reliability on the classification of historical materials, the value of epitaphs as historical resources, the utility of quantitative analysis of related figures, and the role of tests by the ministry of personnel(吏部) to the first official post. He suggests further studies: the different thoughts and behaviors between the shi who preferred Jinshike or Mingjingke; the state of Keju in the later Tang(唐) period. Jaeyoung Choi asks for the explanation on using the expression “formation (of Keju)” and differentiating the concept “Jinshi in the narrow sense” from the broad one. He wants more specific descriptions on the respective facts: the subjectivity or autonomy of the shi, the tension between the state and the shi during the reign of Wuzetian(武則天), the characteristics of Song(宋) records on Tang. Finally, he proposes more suitable naming two capitals of Tang. Ha answers all the comments of Kim and Choi. According to him, it is due to lack of historical materials that some explanations or arguments are insufficient in this book. However, Ha argues that logical inferences and basic perspectives in his book may be close to the facts around the making of Keju.

Although actual business environment is getting difficult and hard, IT companies tend to shy away from of annual investment. Many firms have already reached the 25 percent level. However, the profit and the result of their annual investment needs to be evaluated objectively. IT investment analysis usually proceeds by comparing benefits and costs of an IT investment. Much of the problem derives from the historical treatment of IT as an overhead expense rather than a capital asset. What is most worrying about the current situation is the pressure to take a very short-term view of IT. Therefore, this research aims to analyses and justify the necessity of Visionary IT Investment. For this, it is crucial to identify the factors, which affect positively Visionary IT Investment and understand the role of CIO and explain the result of Visionary IT Investment, which is differed to related business and by different business environment. As a result of this study, the legitimacy of IT Investment is proved through analyzing the business value of not investing and cost-avoidance strategies.

질산산화법을 이용한 SiO<sub>2</sub>/Si 구조의 계면결함 제거

5 nm-thick $SiO_2$ layers formed by plasma-enhanced chemical vapor deposition (PECVD) are densified to improve the electrical and interface properties by using nitric acid oxidation of Si (NAOS) method at a low temperature of $121^{\circ}C$. The physical and electrical properties are clearly investigated according to NAOS times and post-metallization annealing (PMA) at $250^{\circ}C$ for 10 min in 5 vol% hydrogen atmosphere. The leakage current density is significantly decreased about three orders of magnitude from $3.110{\times}10^{-5}A/cm^2$ after NAOS 5 hours with PMA treatment, although the $SiO_2$ layers are not changed. These dramatically decreases of leakage current density are resulted from improvement of the interface properties. Concentration of suboxide species ($Si^{1+}$, $Si^{2+}$ and $Si^{3+}$) in $SiO_x$ transition layers as well as the interface state density ($D_{it}$) in $SiO_2/Si$ interface region are critically decreased about 1/3 and one order of magnitude, respectively. The decrease in leakage current density is attributed to improvement of interface properties though chemical method of NAOS with PMA treatment which can perform the oxidation and remove the OH species and dangling bond.
중·고 역사 교육과정과 교과서의 동양사 내용 체계 분석

This paper analyzes the systemization of content elements reflected in History National Curriculum and textbooks focusing on 2011 History National Curriculum and Content elements of Chinese history. In the 2011 History National Curriculum and 2011 World History National curriculum, systemization seemed to be done in terms of conceptualization of ‘Regional World’. However, in the case of Chinese history, History National Curriculum specifies the contents of Chinese history as a heading in the content element, and treats Chinese history as independent from East Asian head words, whereas it is not the case in the World History National Curriculum. Through the analysis of the contents of Chinese history in the textbooks, it can be said that there is not much difference in history terms, that it is not much different from the description of the text, and that the composition of the inquiry activity does not show the school-level gap. Therefore, the systemization of content elements is not fully realized. The 2015 History National Curriculum for middle school was noticed in June, 2018. It is characterized by the facts that ‘specific topics’ are specified as learning elements and that the teaching and learning methods are emphasized. In addition, it is noteworthy that the domestic research on the student’s historical thinking is increasing and the cases where the student’s level is emphasized in foreign history education curriculum. It is necessary to systematize contents element of National Curriculum reflecting these trends.
