p-type CuAlO2의 합성 메커니즘과 Mg 도핑량에 따른 전기적 특성분석

A solid-phase synthesis mechanism of CuAlO2 was studied, and a method for suppressing the secondary phases of CuO and CuAl2O4 during synthesis was developed. The p-type electrical characteristics according to the Mg addition amount were analyzed. Results showed that during heating, Cu2O was changed to CuO with high mobility and reactivity formed on the Al2O3 surface. The CuO-Al2O3 interface induced a diffusion reaction depending on the temperature. During heat treatment, Cu loss occurred in the upper and lower layers and CuO phase was observed in the middle layer. This non-uniformity caused Cu loss in the entire sample. After Cu loss was compensated, a single CuAlO2 phase was obtained. CuAlO2 and CuAl(1-x)Mg(x)O2 showed p-type conductivity. The residual amount of CuO and CuAl2O4 phases increased with the Mg doping amount and affected the decrease in hole mobility. CuAlO2의 고상 합성 메커니즘을 제안하고, 합성 중 CuO 및 CuAl2O4 2차상을 억제 하는 합성법을 확보하였다. Mg 도핑량에 따른 p-type 전기적 특성을 분석하였다. Cu2O는 공정중 CuO로 변화되고 높은 이동성과 반응성으로 Al2O3표면에 반응막을 형성 후 온도에 따라 확산 반응을 유발시키며 1000 °C 이하에서는 CuAl2O4상이 형성되며 1100 °C 이상에서는 CuAlO2상이 형성되는 것으로 제안하였다. 합성 열처리된 시료는 불균일한 층으로 상하부층은 Cu가 부족하고 중간층에서는 CuO상이 관측되었다. 이러한 불균일은 전체 시료에서 Cu가 손실이 발생됨을 확인하였다. Cu 손실을 보상하여 합성한 결과 2차 상이 없는 단일 CuAlO2상을 확보하였다. CuAlO2와 CuAl(1-x)Mg(x)O2가 p-type 전도도를 갖는 것을 확인하였고, Mg 도핑량 증가에 따라 잔존한 CuO와 CuAl2O4상의 양이 증가하여 hole 이동도에 영향을 주는 것으로 분석하였다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the comparison of nutrient intake and metabolic syndrome between single person households and non-single person households in elderly subjects. We analyzed data from 2,903 subjects ≥ age 65 who participated in the Korea National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey (KNHANES) 2013~2015. As a result, single-person households had lower income and economic ability, overall nutrient intake was deteriorated, and the proportion of high-carbohydrate intake was high, compared to non-single person households. After adjusting for potential confounders (sex, age, education, household income, economic activity, smoking status, alcohol consumption, walking frequency, health status, depression status, and dietary factors), the single-person household showed a tendency of 1.22-fold higher ORs of metabolic syndrome and 1.3-fold higher ORs of hypertriglyceridemia than the non-single-person household. We suggest that the single-person household may be associated with increased prevalence of metabolic syndrome and hypertriglyceridemia in the elderly subjects.
전진교(全眞敎)의 내단사상의 명(命)개념 고찰 -남북합종 이후의 내단가들의 문헌을 중심으로-

This paper aims to examine the development of the concept of “ming(命)” in the the texts of Daoist inner alchemy(neidan, 內丹) after the establishment of the Complete Perfection School(全眞敎). Especially, this paper focuses on the writings of representative inner alchemy thinkers of the post-integration period of Southern and Northern Schools of inner alchemy to examine how the concept of “ming” was developed and reinterpreted in the theoretical system of “xing–ming(性命)”. Among them, the works of thinkers who have systematically explained inner alchemy theories and cultivation methods, such as Lee Daochun(李道純), Wang Daoyuan(王道淵), and Yu Ilming(劉一明), are the main texts. Also some relevant texts of the pre-integration period or the Southern and Northern Schools are examined as necessary. In the inner alchemy works, “ming” always appears as a companion word for “xing(性)”, and “Joint Cultivation of Nature and Vital forces(性命雙修)” is a core theme of the cultivation theories of the inner alchemy. The word “ming(命)” in the inner alchemy texts is often interpreted as the physical body in contrast with “xing(性)”, which refers to the spirit. However, “ming” has various and complicated meanings that can not simply be interpreted as the term like physical body. This paper aims to reveal the complex and multi-layered meanings of “ming” in the works of the inner alchemy. In addition, this paper examines how the concept of “ming” encountered and had a dialogue with Zen Buddhism and Neo Confucianism in its development, and how it acquired its conceptual uniqueness and ideological depth.
Photodirecting Marangoni flow to Pattern Transparent Polymer Thin Films Using a Photosensitizer

The Marangoni effect causes liquids to flow toward localized regions of higher surface tension. In thin polymer films, it may represent a practically useful route to manufacture topographically patterned surfaces. A judicious selection of the photosensitizing compounds in an otherwise transparent polymer expands the use of this method to many classes of polymers and also to more readily available light sources. It further enables significant increases in feature aspect ratio. For example, 9,10-dibromoanthracene sensitizer in polystyrene enabled formation of 500% larger features compared to the sensitizer-free polystyrene film. We believe this patterning methodology will be potentially useful for high throughput fabrication environments that can exploit contact-free and solvent-free topography development. Such patterned films would especially be useful for controlling adhesion, improving photonic device efficiency, and directing cellular alignment, among other applications.

Reactive ionization with atmospheric pressure ionization (API) methods have been utilized for mass spectrometry (MS) to enhance ionization efficiency of an analyte, to recognize a specific functional group of an analyte, and to investigate reaction pathways or intermediates for a certain in situ reaction. Paper spray ionization (PSI) is one of the major API techniques for reactive ionization. In reactive PSI, one of the reactants is usually spotted onto a paper tip and the other reactant is delivered through a spraying solution. After in situ reaction, reaction products are transported to the end of the tip and ionized. In this study, we investigated reactions between isothiazolinones (ITs) and cysteamine (CA) by reactive PSI MS. An IT is a heterocyclic compound that has a conjugated ketone moiety and used as a biocide or a preservative. CA is a stable aminothiol that is often used as a bifunctional covalent modifier. Through reactive PSI MS of ITs with CA, we found that a covalent modification of an IT by CA was possible and sensitivities for ITs were improved compared to conventional PSI MS of ITs that did not employ CA. In addition, possible reaction pathways between ITs and CA during reactive PSI were suggested although we could not confirm a specific reaction pathway in the current study.
