Although much research has problematised the monolingual mindsets of English language teachers, relatively little research has explored how they can agentively negotiate internalised language ideologies. Drawing on works on language ideologies, this study examines Chinese pre-service English language teachers’ adherence or resistance to dominant language ideologies regarding three contentious linguistic concepts: ‘native English speakers’, ‘Standard English’, and ‘China English’. Using qualitative content analysis, the study compares dominant language ideologies that emerged from a set of written narratives about the three concepts completed at the beginning and end of a sociolinguistic course introducing counter-narratives. The findings reveal that participants neither blindly perpetuate monolingual ideologies, nor did they uncritically adopt the course messages. Instead, they were sharply aware of the affordances or constraints that adoption of a particular language ideology can offer them, and they strategically moved back and forth from monolingual to pluralistic ideologies based on the multiple layers of contexts they were embedded in. This study provides insight to teacher educators who are interested in challenging internalised language ideologies of pre-service language teachers in contexts where monolingual ideologies prevail.

Missed lung cancers on chest radiograph (CXR) may delay the diagnosis and affect the prognosis. CXR is the primary imaging modality to evaluate the lungs and mediastinum in daily practice. The purpose of this article is to review chest radiographs for common blind spots and highlight the importance of various radiologic presentations in primary lung cancer to avoid significant diagnostic errors on CXR.

본 연구의 목적은 고속화로 변화되고 있는 디지털 시대, 박물관 전시에서 활용되고 있는 디지털 융합 전시 매체를 이해하기 위해 국립박물관의 전시 매체 현황을 분석하는 것이다. 연구방법은 필드조사방법으로 국립중앙박물관과 그 산하박물관 총 14 곳의 박물관을 방문해 상설전시실에 구현되고 있는 디지털 융합 전시 매체를 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 국립박물관 디지털 융합 전시를 크게 디지털 전시 보조 매체와 디지털 전시 매체로 나누었고, 이것을 일방향 매체와 쌍방향 매체로 다시 구분하였다. 디지털 전시 보조 매체 일방향에는 디스플레이, 프로젝터, 쌍방향에는 터치스크린, 센서미디어, BYOM이 활용되었고, 디지털 전시 매체 일방향에는 프로젝션 맵핑, 미디어 파사드, 4DX가 확인되며, 쌍방향에는 고해상도 영상, 증강현실, 가상현실, 확장현실, 홀로그램, 인터렉티브 미디어가 확인되었다. 둘째, 다수의 국립박물관은 디지털 전시 보조 매체를 활용하는데 이 중에서도 일방향 보조 매체인 영상 중심의 디스플레이가 가장 많이 확인된다. 다음으로 전시 매체의 경우 다수의 박물관이 일방향 성격의 프로젝션 맵핑을 선보이고 있으며 쌍방향의 전시 매체는 국립중앙박물관을 제외한 나머지 박물관들이 아주 간헐적으로 활용하고 있음이 확인되었다. 본 연구 결과, 일방향 전시 디지털 보조 매체는 기본적으로 다수의 박물관이 활용한다고 확인되며, 향후 쌍방향 전시 보조 매체로의 전환이 기대되는 바이다. This study aimed to explore how the National Museums of Korea's digital integration exhibition media are currently doing to understand better how digital exhibition in museums is changing in the quickly evolving digital age. The research employed a field survey method, visiting a total of 14 museums including the National Museum of Korea and its affiliated museums, and analyzing the digital integration exhibition media implemented in their permanent exhibition halls. The research findings revealed that, first, the digital integration exhibition at the National Museums of Korea can be broadly categorized into digital exhibition auxiliary media and digital exhibition media, further distinguishing them into unidirectional and bidirectional media. Unidirectional digital exhibition auxiliary media included displays, and projectors, while bidirectional media featured touch screens, sensor media, and BYOM. Unidirectional digital exhibition media included projection mapping, media facades, and 4DX, while bidirectional media encompassed high-resolution videos, augmented reality, virtual reality, extended reality, holograms, and interactive media. Second, many national museums utilized unidirectional auxiliary media, with video-centric displays being the most prevalent among them. Regarding exhibition media, a majority of museums showcased unidirectional projection mapping, while bidirectional exhibition media was sporadically utilized by museums other than the National Museum of Korea. In conclusion, this study confirms that unidirectional digital auxiliary media is commonly employed by many museums, with a potential transition towards bidirectional exhibition auxiliary media expected in the future.
