What if we could predict the right time and the right place in which a crime would occur? If that would be a reality, there would be no needs to chasing suspect hardly. All the police would have to do is waiting the suspect at the predicting time and the predicting place. When the potential criminal would show his appearance, then the police could arrest the potential criminal and the crime would never occur actually. Philip K. Dick, the famous science fiction novelist in U.S.A, wrote <Minority Report> and it was made into the movie of same title by Steven Spielberg. The movie showed the world where Precrime, a specialized police department, arrest criminals based on predictions provided by three psychics at future of 2054. So the public order system of the movie is so-called pre-crime, because according to the Precrime the police could apprehend the criminals before the actual crime. In the recent years, the development of Information Technology actualized the imagination of the movie in real world. And the technology is called the Bigdata technology. It is a analysis of enormous, various and fast-created data. Until now very huge amount of datas have been thrown out, so we could not use that data. But the advances of technology made many wonderful things possible, for example PredPol, calculates its forecasts based on times and locations of previous crimes, combined with sociological information about criminal behavior and patterns in crime prediction, sentencing guideline , probation, attendance center order , community service order the city of Santa Cruz of U.S.A. So we can apply the ``Bigbata`` technology and analysis into the crime prediction, sentencing guideline, probation, attendance center order and community service order. Although ``bigdata`` has the concerns about invasion of privacy, if we use it with care it could bring us to the insight for the better future.

조선왕조실록 밀납본의 보존상태 조사

Annals of the Joseon Dynasty is the authentic record of the historical facts and events taken place throughout the entire period of 472 years(25 generations, 1392~1863)described in a chronological order. The tremendous volume of the records contains the factual events taken place in almost all the fields of the Joseon Dynasty ranging from politics, economy to history of the dynasty. Not only because of its affluent contents but also with the precision of its records, it was designated as the National Treasure No. 151 in1973 by the Korean government and also registered as the Memory of the World by UNESCO in October 1997.This study is to report a exhaustive investigation results on the conservation state of annals of the Joseon Dynasty, especially Mt. Jeongjoksan edition, under the storage of the Kyujanggak in order to obtain the current condition, and thereby to estimate the any deterioration of the waxed volumes in the future. According to results of the investigation, we are going to verify damage causes of annals of the Joseon Dynasty, and to consider scientific conservation methods for the permanent preservation of invaluable cultural heritage. The major problem with the preservation of annals has arisen particularly from the deterioration of the waxed volumes of the Mt. Jeongjoksan edition. In order to provide for the counter measures for this problem, we have conducted twice investigations(first :1998~1999, second : 2003) to the internal and external conditions of waxed volumes(Annals of King Taejo~Annals of King Myeongjong).The result of the investigation has indicated that the paper quality of the some of the waxed volumes (Annals of King Taejong~Annals of King Sejong) is cracked and folded and the pages are imbedded to each other due to the hardened or congealed wax on the paper. Some of the pages are even getting moldy. And in order to detect as to whether“ there has been any deterioration progressed to the waxed books in the modern storage facility of the Kyujanggak equipped with constant temperature and humidity condition, the first investigation(1998~1999) and the second investigation(2003) have recorded the values of acidity, whiteness and moisture rate of the waxed paper, reporting an observation that there has been no difference on the measuring items. This indicates that no virtual deterioration has been progressed so far to the waxed volumes preserved in the Kyujanggak. Also, except for the causes of deterioration to the paper by insects and microorganisms, the major cause for the paper damage seems to the change of moisture of the paper caused from the alteration of the temperature and humidity of the storage environment. With this understanding in mind, we have conducted an environmental investigation on the three selected points of the storage in the aspects of the temperature, humidity, air current, $CO_2$,HCHO, and $SO_2$.It has been observed that the temperature stood at $16.9^{\circ}C~20.2^{\circ}C$ and the humidity was stable between 53%~56% during the period of the investigation. The concentration of the carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide of the storage were very similar to those in the air. These data lead to presume that there is no problem in the aspect of carbon oxidization. But the concentration of sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide and formaldehyde of the storage were detected a little higher than those of standard. Therefore, we consider that it is necessary to ventilate the internal air of the store room by means of operating air purification devices.

쑥으로부터 유래된 나노입자의 화장품 제품 응용

나노입자(nanoparticles)는 그 크기가 피부를 구성하는 세포보다 작다. 따라서 세포막을 통과하고 약물 또는 유전자를 전달하는 매개체로서의 역할에 매우 적합하며 특정 성분을 피부 속에 전달할 수도 있다. 본 연구에서는 쑥으로부터 나노입자를 추출하여 dynamic light scattering (DLS)를 통해 100 nm 전후 크기의 입자를 얻었음을 확인하였고, MTT assay를 통하여 섬유아세포에서 cell viability를 농도 의존적으로 증진시키는 결과를 얻었다. 또한, quantitative real time PCR 분석법을 통해서 COL1A1 mRNA 발현량을 증가시키고 IL-6 mRNA 발현량은 감소시킴을 확인하였다. 세포실험뿐 아니라 화장품 제형에서도 적용 가능하며, 안정함을 확인하였다. 최근 화장품 산업 동향에서 화학 성분을 배제하고 식물 유래 성분 수요가 지속적으로 높아지고 있는 반면, 식물에서 유래된 나노입자의 응용분야를 제시하는 연구 결과가 거의 없다는 한계가 있다. 따라서 현시점에서의 화장품 산업의 한계점을 극복하고자 본 연구를 통해 얻은 결과를 견주어 쑥으로부터 유래된 나노입자를 고기능성 화장품 소재로서 제시하고자 한다.

In this study, children with MR were compared with normal children in overall production rate and production types of six semantic categories of negation. For this purpose, 10 children with MR and another 10 language-age matched normal children were selected. The results of this study were as the following: First, the children with MR showed significantly low overall production rate, compared with normal children. Two groups demonstrated signifiant differences in denial, disability, ignorance, prohibition and rejection except nonexistence. Second, in production type, the children with MR tended to use more gestures, and in comparison, normal children used more 'mixed types'.

In The Tragic Muse Miriam`s performance simultaneously reiterates and deviates from the sexually differentiated law, revealing the desire for female sexuality through her body. Given that the biological body is not prelinguistic outside, to resort to woman`s body for female sexuality is always liable for biological essentialism. But her body, through which her performance is acted out, should not be considered the biologically defined woman`s body, for what is at stake in her performance is not the body itself, but the plasticity of the body, which enables the performing body to occasion the femininity in the spatio-temporally specified context. Miriam as an actress explores the way femininity as representation actively appropriates the representational function, addressing female sexuality as alterity at the same moment. Advancing from the crude imitation to the performance producing the effect of realness, she achieves the heterogeneous, theatrical self. Miriam`s performance, with her plasticity of the body, foreshadows post-modern concept of femininity.

국내에서 개발된 기구소독용 발포정의 슈퍼박테리아에 대한 살균력 평가

Dental Clinic staffs are exposed to the risk of cross infection due to patient s blood, saliva and contaminated dental instruments. This study was designed to evaluate the performance of AOS Zero Germ (AOS Co. Ltd) effervescent labware wash tablet. A total of six types carbapenemase-producing Gram negative bacteria (KPC-2-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae , KPC-3-producing K. pneumoniae, NDM-1-producing K. pneumoniae , VIM-2-producing Enterobacter cloacae , VIM-2-producing Pseudomonas aeruginosa , OXA-23-producing Acinetobacter baumannii ), methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus , vancomycin-resistant Enterococcus faecium were prepared in this study. All the isolates were exposed to the distilled water prepared with AOS Zero Germ. After the exposure the mixture of bacteria and AOS Zero Germ was inoculated onto MacConkey agar plate or blood agar plate and cultured at 37℃. All isolates were killed immediately of an exposure to AOS Zero Germ. It may be recommended that AOS Zero Germ can be used as an effective labware washer for clinical laboratory and an intermediate-level disinfectant for hospital infection control.

소셜미디어 시대의 인포그래픽 경향 분석에 관한 연구

수많은 정보가 소비되는 SNS시대에 인포그래픽이새롭게 주목받고 있다. 이러한 배경에는 이미지 정보인 인포그래픽이 사용자의 흥미를 유발시키고, 직관적인 정보습득 방식을 제공하여 빠른 확산을 유도했다는 점에서 양방향성, 개방성, 즉시성, 정확성, 자발성,이미지화라는 특성을 지닌 SNS시대에 적합한 정보방식으로 인식되었기 때문이다.따라서 본 논문의 연구 배경 및 목적은 소셜미디어시대에시각정보매체인 인포그래픽의 다양한 사례 분석을 통해 SNS에서 정보가 소비되어지는 방식과 그유형을 도출하고 방향을 제시하는데 목적이 있다.이를 위해 본 논문은 SNS시대에 인포그래픽의 경향 분석을 위해 시각적 표현 방식과 활용 방식으로나누고 각각 세부적으로 다시 분류하여 그에 해당하는 사례를 분석하고 이를 토대로 결과를 도출하였다.첫째, SNS환경에서 주목성을 높이고 직관적 정보전달을 위해 이미지가 정보 자체로 인식될 수 있도록 모션그래픽, 인터랙티브, 스토리텔링 등의 새로운 미디어 기법을 정보의 성격에 맞게 제시하여 시각적 다양화를 통해 사용자 니즈와 이해도를 높이고 있다.둘째, 검색, 보도 매체 등 정보 전달의 진화된 경향과 마케팅, 사용자의 디지털 스타일 정보 제시 목적등 인포그래픽의 활용범위가 광범위하게 넓어진 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 인포그래픽은 소셜미디어에 적합한 다양한표현방식과 활용방식을 제시함으로써 앞으로의 시대에 주요한 정보전달 매체로 성장할 것으로 기대된다. Infographics have drawn attention in the SNS age in which a lot of information is being consumed. This is because concerning this background, infographics were perceived as an appropriate information type for the SNS age with their characteristics of interactivity, openness, instantaneity, accuracy, spontaneity and imagification in that they have attracted the rapid distribution of information by triggering the interest of users and offering the intuitive way of acquiring information. So the background and purpose of research this paper is to withdraw certain types and patterns of information consumption on SNS through analysis of various cases of infographics, which are visual information media in the age of social ``media``. Therefore, this paper conducted an analysis relevant cases by classifying them into the visual expression type and the utilization type for analysis of the trend of infographics in the SNS age. As a result, first, in order that an image may be recognized as information itself for the delivery of intuitive information while raising attractiveness in the SNS environment, infographics have increased users` needs and their level of understanding through the visual diversification by providing new media techniques such as motion graphics, interactive graphics, and storytelling, which are attuned to the characters of information. Second, it was shown that the scope of the utilization of infographics has been extended for the following purposes: the evolved trend and marketing of information delivery such as in search and news media and the offering of digital style information to users. Accordingly, infographics are expected to grow as the major medium of information delivery in the forthcoming age by proposing diverse expression types and utilization types suitable for social media.

쿠르드 민족주의 : 터키, 이라크 사례 비교분석

This paper explores under what structural circumstances the two streams of the Kurdish nationalist movements - in Iraq and Turkey, respectively - have been unfolding in different ways. First of all, this paper analyzed the impacts of the political, structural factors in the countries the Kurds are belonging to by looking into their policies to the ethnic groups. In case of Turkey, the government took suppression and assimilation in order to undercut the rise of the Kurdish nationalism. On the other hand, the Kurds in Iraq, obtaining its autonomy at the early stage of the Baath party’s empowerment, has been continuously strengthening the Kurdish nationalism by resisting the Iraqi government. Geopolitics in the Middle East has been playing a critical role, significantly affecting the activities of the Kurdish nationalism. During the 2003 War on Iraq, the Kurd in Iraq sided with the United States, strengthening their position in the international community. In contrast, the Turkish government took passive stances in the Iraqi and IS wars to prevent the spread of the Kurdish nationalist influence. Focusing the point that the Kurdish nationalist movements in Iraq and Turkey have developed in different ways, depending upon how the domestic political and the geopolitical factors interplay, this paper will structurally analyze the nationalism in the two countries from a comparative perspective.

A new smartphone with iris scanner made headlines in August 2016. It shows that a new era has come. We live in a world where we prove our identity with our bio information. Bio information is also widely used on the criminal investigation these days. Biosignal is a signal from human can be continually measured and monitored. For example, pulse, breathing, electrocardiogram, heartbeat, blood pressure and so on. By monitoring biosignal, we can find out one’s physical and psychological state. On the criminal investigation, a biosignal is used in polygraph examination, Ankle monitor and crime prediction using brain scans. Biometrics refers to metrics related to human characteristics. It is mainly used as personal identification and authentications, like Iris and face recognition. Biometrics has permanence, uniqueness and universality. So every person use a system should possess the trait, and at the same time the trait should be different for individuals. On the criminal investigation, a biometrics is used in facial recognition CCTV, gait analysis, hand geometry, DNA profiling, voiceprint analysis. Since biometric information can not be changed or discarded and newly created, it is impossible to reverse the situation once it is leaked, so handling biometric information should be more careful than other personal information. The present legal system is insufficient to protect biometric information. It is necessary to revise relevant laws before the age when biometric information is utilized in earnest. And I think that it is the beginning to ensure stronger rights to informational self-determination.
