Numerical optimization of two dimensional high lift configuration was performed with flow solver and optimization method based on RSM(Response Surface Model). Navier-Stokes solver with Spalart-Allmaras turbulence model was selected for the simulation of highly complex and separated flows on the flap. For the simultaneous optimization of both flap shape and setting (gap/overlap), 10 design variables (eight variables for flap shape variation and two variables for flap setting) were chosen. In order to generate the response surface model, 128 experimental points were selected for 10 design variables. The objective function considering maximum lift coefficient, lift to drag ratio and lift coefficient at specific angle of attack was selected to reduce flow separation on the flap surface. The present method was applied to two dimensional fowler flap in landing configuration. After applying the present method, it was shown that the optimized high lift configuration had less flow separation on the flap surface and lift to drag ratio was suppressed over entire angle of attack range.

During the conceptual design of turboprop aircraft, the power effect driven from rotating propeller is typically obtained from empirical data. In the present paper, propeller power effect was obtained by using unsteady three-dimensional Navier-Stokes solver with $k-{\omega}$ turbulence model for the accurate prediction of turboprop aircraft performance. In order to simulate the relative motion between propeller and fuselage, unsteady sliding mesh method was used. During simulation, three flow conditions such as climb, cruise and descending flight were selected considering the flight envelop of the real turboprop aircraft. For the correction of aerodynamic coefficients, the thrust effect of engine exhaust gas was included based on the engine manufacturer's data. Using the computational results, the correction table for the aerodynamic coefficient of turboprop aircraft was suggested for the performance analysis of turboprop aircraft.

The period from the late 16th century to the early 17th century is a time in which excellent literary people performed much. The purpose of this study is to contemplate on the literacy activities and the poetry world of Guen Yoo who was in charge of the literacy spirit (文風) as a Daejaehak and Wonjeopsa. After walking into the path of a government official at the age of 24, Guen Y 00 is a government official and literary person who had experienced the political and social turbulent era for almost 50 years until he passed away at 79. In the 1590s during which the japanese Invasions of Korea in 1592 and 1597 occurred, he searched for ways to overcome the suffers from the wars as a Doseungji. After the japanese Invasions of Korea in 1592 and 1597, in 1600s, Guen Yoo was in charge of being responsible for the literacy spirit and diplomatic documents of joseon usually as an envoy, Wonjeopsa, and Munhyeong. Although it is important for an envoy or Wonjeopsa to jeondae at the diplomatic sites, it is also crucial to treat the other envoys and possess an ability as a literary person to send and receive poetry and prose. As an ambassador, Guen Yoo treated the Chinese envoys smoothly. He also sent and received the poetry and prose properly. Consequently, he became more renowned as a literacy person. In particular, it is notable that the poetry of the Wonjeopsa Guen Yoo's party was published as 『Dongbanghwaeum』in China in 1606. Guen Yoo, who had represented the diplomatic documents and literacy spirit of Joseon in the early 17th century as a Wonjeopsa, was evaluated as the one who formalized accompanying a Jesulgwan when greeting the Chinese envoys. When he was in the position of a Daejaehak, Guen Yoo was in charge of selecting poems of Joseon poets and completed publishing the poets into a 『Donginsibu』. Guen Yoo played a crucial role in writing official documents of diplomacy, advocacy, and the government not only in the 1600s but also in the 1610s.
