        A record of the northernmost location of Otus elegans in the Pacific area

        This individual of Otus elgans was rescued on Udo Island located in the east of Jeju Island, the south ernmost part of the Korean Peninsula, on January 4, 2007. It was found at 3 3200 N, 2 580 E, which is thenorthernmost record among the habitats of Otus elegans. After that, we took photographs of its shape,recorded its calls, and analyzed them. While analyzing we confirmed that it is an unrecorded species inKorea. We classified the chick calls based on structural similarity on spectrograms (view range: 0e7.5 kHz; window length: 1 second). We measured it and the results are; weight: 86.7 g, total length:210 mm, wing length: 170 mm, tail length: 68.0 mm, and Tarsus length: 25.13 mm. In addition, its vo calizations are structurally diverse: duration, w10 ms to 1.5 s; peak frequency (adults), <900 to>3000 Hz. Currently, it was found not only on Nansei Shoto, Minami-daito-jima, and Okino Islands inJapan but also on the Batanes Islands in eastern China and the Babuyan Islands. Moreover, assumed thatit inhabits Okinoshima, lying beyond the known northern limit of distribution. Therefore, this studyrecord demonstrates the attempt of O. elegans to move north even to Udo Island from the previoushabitats.

        비대칭분석 공정을 위한 중앙치와 범위 관리단의 설계

        The statistical control chart has been proven to be the effective tool most widely used in the manufacturing industry for monitoring and controlling the manufacturing processes. However, the Shewhart chart sometimes gives us false information when the distribution of quality characteristics is skewed. Therefore, it cannot serve as the universal quality control chart if there exist odd events in the manufacturing process. The objective of this study is thus to develop the new technique for constructing the limits of quality control chart based on a sample median and range when the distribution of the underlying population is skewed. This new control chart can effectively solve and manage the processes which have the non-normally distributed quality characteristics frequently occurring in the practical situation.

        A Practical Study on Data Analysis Framework for Teaching 3D Printing in Elementary School

        The computational thinking refers to the ability to solve the complex and a variety of problems by utilizing a computer in core of the software education. It create a model through data collection and analysis and realize that the computer can understand to solve problems. Recently, the educational application of 3D printer appears in importance, which is one method to improve the computing thinking. In this paper, we propose the data analysis framework to stretch the computing thinking of learner that can incorporate 3D printing technology to the current elementary school curriculum and apply in a case study.

        FCAW에 의한 590MPa급 고장력압력용기강의 초층편면용접부에서 발생하는 고온균열

        It is well known that solidification cracking often occurs in welds of root pass for one-side welding under the conditions of high welding currents and speeds. In this study, the solidification in 590MPa class steel for pressure vessels SPPV490 was investigated by using flux-cored arc welding(FCAW) with 4 types of welding wires and welding conditions of 200∼280A and 2.8∼ 4.2mm/sec. In order to compared the result of cracking in SPPV490, 0.2%C steel for welded structure of SWS400 and 0.45%C steel for machine structural SM45C were also used as base metals. As the results, all the cracks formed in some welding conditions were observed near the center of weld bead. The solidification cracks were generally initiated near the upper surface of bead and propagated toward the inner part. The solidification cracking generally increased with welding current and welding speed in the same base metal and welding material. In cracking susceptibility, SPPV490 showed higher cracking susceptibility than SWS400 in all welding conditions and welding materials. It was considered that cracking susceptibility could not be evaluated with the hardness of weld metals. The cracking ratio increased with decreasing of a/b(a and b; the width of the upper surface and the back surface of the bead) as shape factor of bead. The cracking tendency with shape factor of bead was extended under the condition of higher welding currents.

        A Study on Behavior Analysis of Information Gifted Children through Developing Information Security Contents

        The definition of information gifted children, decision, and education is unclear. There are many advanced studies on gifted children in the mathematics, science, and arts field, but researches on information gifted children are still lacked. This paper analyzes the behavior characteristics that information gifted children have as specific cases are used to look into information gifted children. In this paper, information gifted children compared with other subjects are defined for teachers to easily distinguish information gifted children. Also, observation-recommendation check list items and behavior characteristics of information gifted children are linked to help teachers write check lists and recommend information gifted children.

        This study has been studied on the change of microstructures and hardness of a single martensite obtained in quenching from austenization for 30 minutes at 900℃ and mixed structures having martensite and lower bainite formed at different temperature in 0.60% C-Si-Mn steel Main results obtained are as follows; (1) the structures obtained at different temperature is a string type of lower bainite (2) the hardness at 25% of lower bainite in volume fraction shows the ultimate value when the temperature o heat treatment is isothermally transformed at 330℃.

        브레이징한 Ti/Cu 접합계면부의 미세조직 특성

        To know the bonding phenomena of Ti/Cu brazed joint, a characteristic of microstructures in bonding interlayer of vacuum brazed pure Ti to Cu has been studied in the temperature range from 1088 to 1133K for various bonding times using Ag-28wt%Cu filler metal. Also intermediate phases formed in bonded interlayer and behavior of layer growth have been investigated. The obtained results in this study are as follows: 1) Liquid insert metal width at the each brazing temperature was proportional to the square root of brazing time, and it was considered that the liquid insert metal width was controlled by the diffusion rate process of primary .alpha.-Cu formed at the Ti side. 2) Intermediate phases formed near the Ti interface were .betha.-Ti and intermetallic compounds TiCu, Ti$_{2}$Cu, Ti$_{3}$Cu, and TiCu. 3) .betha.-Ti formed in Ti base metal durig brazing transformed to lamellar structure, .alpha.-Ti + Ti$_{2}$Cu. The structure came from the eutectoil decomposition reaction in cooling. And the width of .betha.-Ti layer was proportional to the square root of brazing time, and it was considered that the growth of .betha.-Ti layer was controlled by interdiffusion rate process in .betha.-Ti. 4) The layer growth of TiCu, Ti$_{3}$Cu$_{4}$ and TiCu, phases formed near the Ti interface was linerface was linearly proportional to the brazing time, and it was considered that the layer growth of these phases was controlled by the chemical reaction rate at the interface.

        Forest Recreation Culture of 18th Century Joseon Intellectuals - Focused on the Korean Translation of Yusangi -

        This study examines the forest recreation culture of Joseon intellectuals through the Yusangi (遊山記; literary works on sightseeing along the forest) translated by the Korea National Arboretum among Yusangi written in the 18th century. This study aimed to identify the forest recreation culture of the Joseon period and to explore success factors of the modern forest culture by understanding how the intellectuals saw, felt and responded to the nature by analyzing the content of Korean translation of Yusangi. The contents of the 18th century Yusangi was analyzed according to the 5W1H principle and its meanings were assumed. Specifically, this study analyzed time and reason of visit to nature, activities, their emotional feelings and changes in rational thinking of the people who recorded the Yusangi. Major findings were as follows. Most of the writers of Yusangi were intellectuals who were the ruling classes of the time. The places visited included not only the famous mountain of the whole country but also the local areas where they resided and the areas where they worked as officials. They were often looking for arithmetic to leave the excursion in order for studying mind-set and longevity during their 20s and 30s, or to spare time in their 50s and 60s. Findings from analysis of tourists' behavior as sensory behavior and general behavior included various visual behaviors, such as observing fish in the stream and stars in the night sky, as well as their appreciation of the scenery. In addition, auditory behaviors, such as paying attention to the sound of nature and appreciating musical instruments, and olfactory behaviors were also appeared. Typical activities were poetry writing, water activities, and nature activities. As a result of these behaviors, Yusangi exhibits various emotional feelings and expressions of rational thoughts. Despite moderation of emotional expressions, expressions of delicate emotional thoughts stimulated modern empathy. The tradition of forest recreation as a culture of Joseon intellectuals in the 18th century will be no less favorable to the modern forest recreation culture and will be a good traditional resource for enriching our forest recreation culture.

      • 콩 생산성 향상과 안정 수량 확보를 위한 적정 파종시기의 탐색

        최근 농작물의 생산은 기존 식량작물의 생산개념에서 에너지생산개념으로 변화하고 있으며, 이에 따라 생산 수량에 대한 평가에는 생산단가와 효율이 포함되어야 한다. 이와 같은 사고의 변화는 작물의 특성평가에 관한 부분을 고려하여야 한다는 점이 부각되고 있다. 또한, 실제 포장 군락내에서 작물의 특성은 이와는 별도 로 작물간 상호 작용이 고려된 생장속도, 토양내 양분과 수분에 대한 경합, 개화, 광합성효율, 양분전류속도, 내병충성, 내한발성과 저온저항성 등의 내재해저항성 등이 고려되어야 하며, 콩 품종별, 파종기이동에 따른 수량의 변화도 고려되어야 한다. 우리나라를 비롯하여 전 세계적인 녹지의 확대는 산업적, 사회환경적 측면에 서 시대의 당면과제로 명시되고 있으며, 특히 우리나라와 같이 경지면적이 매우 제한된 농업환경에서는 농지 활용도를 극대화시키는 것이 전략적으로 중요한 위치를 차지하고 있다. 또한, 근래 지구온난화 또는 기후변화 로 표현되는 이상기온현상 또는 불규칙, 불안정한 기후에 대비하여 작물재배, 생산 측면에서, 그리고 토지이 용측면에서도 효율적인 작물의 개발은 시의적절하고 시급한 문제이다. 본 연구에서는 현재 우리나라 우량 콩품종을 포함, 오랜기간 육종소재로 활용되어 왔던 기존의 우량계통을 비롯 30여개의 콩유전자원을 탐색하 여 수량구성요소와 관계된 형질들이 파종기에 따라 어떤 영향을 받는지 비교 하였으며 이를 통해 초기 작물 의 생장속도, 광합성의 결과물인 양분의 전류속도 등을 비교 고찰하였다.

      • 경기지역 콩 품종별 생육단계 특성

        1993년 GATT-UR 협상이 타결됨에 따라 관세화에 의한 농식품 시장의 전면 개방이 불가피하게 되었으며, 2004년 한-칠레와의 FTA 발효를 시작으로 우리 농업은 본격적인 글로벌 개방시대를 맞이하게 되었다. 하지만 콩의 경우 시장개방으로 경쟁력이 위협받아 콩 생산량이 감소추세에 있으며, 매년150만여 톤 이상, 즉 수요량의 90%이상을 수입에 의존하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 한국에서 재배 가능한 콩 30품종(장수, 신팔달1호, 신팔달2호, 큰올, 만리, 보광, 검정콩1호, 진품1호, 진품2호, 황금, 단백, 광안, 삼남, 은하, 푸른콩, 소명, 소원, 다원, amsoy, 장단백목, jack1, jack2, pecking, 대원, 개척1호, 개척2호, s015, s09, 대풍, 태광)을 대상으로 경기 남부지역인 여주에서 계통별 재배실험을 실시하여 그 생육단계 조사를 통해 경기지역 재배환경에 적응력이 우수한 품종을 알아보는데 있다. 파종일은 2008년 6월 16일이고 계통별 1~2열로 재식밀도는 80cm x 20cm으로 1주 2본을 점파하였다. 현재까지 약 4개월간 재배중이고 재배기간인 2008년 6월 중순에서 10월 중순까지 평균기온, 최고기온, 최저기온, 일사량 및 강수량을 조사했다.생육단계는8월 7일, 10월 1일 총 2회에 걸쳐 조사하였으며, 또한 10월 1일에 품종별 5협(莢)을 취해 협(莢)크기와 입(粒)중 및 입(粒)크기를 측정해 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다.
