Kissing of sub-conductors due to magnetic forces has been investigated in a 154 kV bundled overhead transmission line. With increasing ampacity of the conductors and enlarging the distance between spacers, lager magnetic force was measured. When the phase ampacity was 2,000 amps and the distance between two adjacent spacers was 68 m, for instance, the conductors became unstable and vibrated with a frequency of several herts. Furthermore, when the ampacity was 2,250 amps and the distance between spacers was 136 m, the two sub-conductors were contacted. Analysing the magnetic forces with distance of spacers, the safe distance of spacers to avoid contact of sub-conductors was presented. The change of the safe distance is discussed due to various parameters, such as residual stresses and wind pressures, in the real transmission lines.

A field experiment was conducted to find out the effects of field productivity, variety and nitrogen rate on the yield, quality, chemical constituents and physical properties of burley cured leaf in three field with different productivity(Degree of field productivity: A ; high, B ; medium, C : low) during successive two years(1988~89). The yield and quality were remarkably lowered when nitrogen fertilizer being applied much in low productive field. As compared with Burley 21, KB101 showed high yield, particularly the yield of KB101 in low productive field was relatively high. The effect of nitrogen rate on the yield was somewhat different according to field productivity and production year. When the nitrogen fertilizer being applied above 22.5kg/10a, the added nitrogen had no effect on the yield. Total nitrogen content of cured leaf grown in low productive field was high while total alkaloid was low, therefore total alkaloid/total nitrogen ratio was remarkably low. The lightness, red and yellow color of cured leaf grown in low productive field was remarkably low. As compared with Burley 21, the contents of total alkaloid and total nitrogen and shatter resistance index of cured leaf was somewhat low, while the filling power, lightness, red and yellow color were slightly high. Total nitrogen content of cured leaf was increased remarkably by nitrogen addition, but total alkaloid was not increased though the nitrogen fertilizer being applied above 22.5kg/10a. The filling power and shatter resistance index of cured leaf grown in high nitrogen plot, and the lightness and yellow color were low while the red color was relatively high. It comes into question that the visual quality being increased as well as increment of yield and nitrogenous compounds by nitrogen addition in high productive field. In low productive field, it is considerable that nitrogen addition for high yield should be prohibited because it causes the decrement of yield and quality, on the contrary.

This study was conducted to investigate the relationship between changes of rumen microflora and bloat in Jersey cow. Jersey cows (control age: 42 months, control weight: 558kg; treatment age: 29 months, treatment weight 507kg) were fed on the basis of dairy feeding management at dairy science division in National Institute of Animal Science. The change of microbial population in rumen was analyzed by using next generation sequencing (NGS) technologies due to metabolic disease. The diversity of Ruminococcus bromii, Bifidobacterium pseudolongum, Bifidobacterium merycicum and Butyrivibrio fibrisolvens known as major starch fermenting bacteria was increased more than 36-fold in bloated Jersey, while cellulolytic bacteria community such as Fibrobacter succinogenes, Ruminococcus albus and Ruminococcus flavefaciens was increased more than 12-fold in non-bloated Jersey. The proportion of bacteroidetes and firmicutes was 33.4% and 39.6% in non-bloated Jersey's rumen, while bacteroidetes and firmicutes were 24.9% and 55.1% in bloated Jersey's. In conclusion, the change of rumen microbial community, in particular the increase in starch fermenting bacteria, might have an effect to occur the bloat in Jersey cow.

Si(100)기판위에서의 C49 $\textrm{ZrSi}_{2}$의 형성과 특성 연구

Si(001)기판 위에 형성시킨 Zr-silicide의 전기적, 물리적 특성에 관한 연구를 하였다. Zr 박막은 전자빔 증착기를 사용하여 증착하였으며, 50$0^{\circ}C$ 열처리하여 Zr-silicide를 형성시켰다. 각 온도에서 열처리된 Zr-silicide시편의 상형성, 전기적 특성, 화학적 조성, 표면 및 계면 형상을 XRD, four-point probe, AES, TEM과 HRTEM으로 분석하였다. 분석 결과 $600^{\circ}C$부터 Zr과 Si기판의 계면에서 C49 ZrSi$_{2}$의 생성이 관찰되었다. Zr-Silicide박막의 비저항은 C49 ZrSi$_{2}$의 형성에 영향을 받는 것으로 관찰되었으며, 50$0^{\circ}C$ 열처리 후에는 184.3 $\mu$Ω-cm로 낮아졌으며, C49 ZrSi$_{2}$가 박막에 완전히 형성된 80$0^{\circ}C$ 열처리 후에는 32$\mu$Ω-cm의 낮은 저항을 나타내었다. 형성된 C49 ZrSi$_{2}$박막은 균질한 화학적 조성을 하고 있음을 AES 분석으로 확인하였다. Zr-silicide의 표면 및 계면의 형상을 TEM과 HRTEM으로 관찰하였으며, $600^{\circ}C$ 열처리 후에 계면에서 ZrSi$_{2}$의 상형성이 시작되는 것을 관찰하였다. 80$0^{\circ}C$ 열처리 후에도 계면과 표면형상은 비교적 균질한 형상이 유지되었음이 관찰되었으며, 이는 C49 ZrSi$_{2}$가 높은 온도에서도 잘 응집되지 않으며 고온 안정성을 가지는 재료임이 관찰되었다.

The purpose of this study was not only to clearly examine the features of the scenery and visual elements of Oreum (parasitic cones) but also to investigate primary factors in landscape preferences for these cones. This study further attempted to gain basic information for examining the preservation of Oreum in regards to the influence of scenery on the general public. A Multiple Regression Analysis was used for this study for which the independent variable was the area ratio of the fore-, mid-, and background of the view under the feature element and the structure of the scenery at the Oreum. The dependent variables were the preference value, the number of summits, and the highest altitude of the Oreum. All but the highest inclination were positive variables. The area ratio of the Oreum was found to be the most important variable. The area of sky and the area of the distant scenery were shown to be positive explanation variables, while the area to the fore of the view and the area to the middle of the view were shown as negative explanation variable. In the preference for Oreum scenery, which has a high visibility and is clearly outlined against the skyline, it was found that as the hindrance element of visibility near to a visual point or the area ratio increased, the preference for the Oreum scenery decreased.

Effect of nitrogen rate with and without chance of Phosphorus and Potassium rate was investigated in a field experiment. Percentage of plant mortality after transplanting increased with N rates above 32.5kg/10a. The content of total nitrogen increased and postassium decreased slightly as the rates of applied N was increased, but the contents of total alkaloid and phosphorus were not affected at each growing stage. It was considered that the application of 17.5kg of P2O5 and 35.0kg of K2O Per 10a might be sufficient for high yield and good Quality. As the N rates being increased, the yield, value, contents of total alkaloid and total nitrogen of cured leaf increased However, the Brice per kg was not significantly different among 17.5 ~ 37.5kg / 10a of N rates. The application of 37.5kg/10a of N may be profitable for farm economy; but, the N application should be controlled 17.5~22.5kg/10a for the low nitrogen and alkaloid leaf.
