      The Effects of the Attractiveness of an Internet Shopping Mall and Flow on Affective Commitment

      With the many advantages of the internet, online shopping has become one of the fastest growing types of retail businesses. However, internet-based firms are much more firmly required to retain existing customers rather than secure new ones, and to make them revisit the site by strengthening trust and loyalty, thereby improving profits and outrivaling competitors. Commitment is an essential part of successful long-term relationships between buyers and sellers. Although commitments by both parties in an exchange can provide the foundation for the development of relational social norms, disproportionate commitments can lead to opportunism by the less committed partner. Moreover, flow, which is characterized by intense concentration and enjoyment, was found to be significantly linked with exploratory use behavior, which in turn was linked to the extent of computer use. The level of flow was, itself, determined by the individual's sense of being in control, and the level of challenge perceived in maneuvering a website. Website attractiveness goes hand in hand with the attractiveness of an internet shopping mall, and it can be conceptualized as the persuasive effectiveness of a message by the use of familiarity, favor, similarity, etc. It occurs when information receivers try to achieve self-satisfaction when they actually or emotionally identify themselves with an information source. This study investigates the relationship between the perceived system characteristics of an internet shopping mall and the loyalty of online consumers, and it examines how perceived website attractiveness and flow play mediating roles between the perceived system characteristics of an internet shopping mall and the affective commitment in the context of a clothes internet shopping mall. For these purposes, a structural model comprising several variables was developed. That model was tested with an analysis of moment structure (AMOS) using data from respondents who had purchased clothing through the internet during the past three months. In this model, the perceived system characteristics of an internet shopping mall, such as familiarity, reputation, uniqueness, positive emotions, self-efficacy, and interactivity, were proposed to affect the website’s attractiveness and flow, and lead to a higher affective commitment over time. Thus, the perceived website attractiveness and flow were proposed as core mediating variables between perceived system characteristics and affective commitment. The results of a reliability test using Cronbach's Alpha, and a confirmatory factor analysis warranted using unidimensionality for the measures for each construct. In addition, the nomological validity of the measures was warranted from the results of a correlation analysis. The results of empirical analyses indicated that systematic attributes resulting in website attractiveness and user's characteristics, thereby triggering customers’ flow, play a crucial role in inducing customers’ affective commitment, and a user's characteristics are twice as important as systematic attributes in this study. Moreover, familiarity, reputation, and uniqueness all have a significant effect on website attractiveness, and the research showed that uniqueness took the first place, and that familiarity and reputation followed in order of magnitude. The fact that reputation was not the most important factor that affects the attractiveness of an internet shopping mall, with uniqueness or familiarity having a greater impact, suggests much deeper implications. Finally, positive emotion, self-efficacy, and interactivity all have a significant effect on customers’ flow. In particular, the fact that positive emotion, compared to self-efficacy or interactivity, has much more impact on flow is very suggestive.

      Flowmeter를 이용한 기체의 부피자동측정 MBL실험 개발과 적용

      The purpose of this study was to devise a gas-volume measurement experiment using MBL (Microcomputer-Based Laboratory). The quantitative data was obtained by MFM (Mass Flowmeter) as a sensor. The gas volume was easily measured in real time when the MFM was employed in a  decomposition experiment and the reproducibility of an automatic volume-measuring has been reliable. This MBL experiment using an MFM sensor, therefore, is expected to be widely applied to gas generation experiments in schools. 이 연구의 목적은 MBL(Microcomputer-Based Laboratory)을 사용한 기체의 부피 측정 실험 방안을 마련하는 것이다. 유속 측정기(MFM, Mass Flow Meter)을 센서로 사용하여 발생한 기체 부피를 실시간으로 측정하였다. MFM을 과산화 수소( H2O2 ) 분해 실험에 적용한 결과, 반응에서 발생된 기체의 부피를 쉽고 편리하게 측정할 수 있었으며 실험의 재현성이 높았다. 따라서 MFM 센서를 이용한 MBL실험은 일선 교육현장에서 이루어지는 기체 발생 실험에 널리 적용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

      초저지연 제어를 위한 CPS 아키텍처 설계

      Ultra-low latency control is one of the characteristics of 5G cellular network services, which means that the control loop is handled in milliseconds. To achieve this, it is necessary to identify time delay factors that occur in all components related to CPS control loop, including new 5G cellular network elements such as MEC, and to optimize CPS control loop in real time. In this paper, a novel CPS architecture for ultra-low latency control of CPS is designed. We first define the ultra-low latency characteristics of CPS and the CPS concept model, and then propose the design of the control loop performance monitor (CLPM) to manage the timing information of CPS control loop. Finally, a case study of MEC-based implementation of ultra-low latency CPS reviews the feasibility of future applications.

      온라인 방송에서 시청자 반응 및 의도 기반의 실시간 광고 서비스를 위한 데이터 모델링 기법

      The interaction between the existing advertising service and the user is limited. To provide a personalized advertising service, advertisement systems should predict the user's preference based on the user's profile and the user-content relationship. Many recommendation schemes have been studied to predict the preferences of users. However, the existing recommendation system is difficult to guarantee real-time preference prediction as it performs a calculation of the matrix with high computational complexity. In this paper, we propose a data modeling method for real-time advertising services based on the reaction and intention of viewers. To predict the user's preference in real-time, the user's historical data is modeled in a tree structure. The tree structure allows us to retrieve and compare the data with logarithmic time complexity. To improve the accuracy of the recommendation, we have proposed a recommendation algorithm that considers both the user's positive and negative evaluations. Finally, we have evaluated the performance of the proposed method through various methods. 기존의 광고 서비스와 사용자의 인터랙션은 제한적이다. 개인화된 광고 서비스를 제공하기 위해, 광고 시스템은 사용자의 프로파일 및 사용자-컨텐츠 관계에 기초하여 사용자의 선호도를 예측해야 한다. 사용자의 선호도를 예측하기 위한 방법으로 추천 기법에 대한 많은 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 그러나, 기존의 추천 시스템은 계산 복잡도가 높은 매트릭스를 연산을 수행하기 때문에 실시간 선호도 예측을 보장하기 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 미디어 컨텐츠 시청자의 반응 및 의도 기반의 실시간 광고 서비스를 위한 데이터 모델링 기법을 제안한다. 사용자 선호도를 실시간으로 예측하기 위해 사용자 히스토리 데이터는 트리 구조로 구성된다. 트리 구조는 데이터 탐색 및 비교를 로그 시간 복잡도 이내에 수행 가능하다. 추천의 정확도를 향상시키기 위하여 사용자의 긍정적인 평가와 부정적인 평가를 모두 고려한 추천 알고리즘을 제안한다. 마지막으로, 실제 데이터를 통해 제안하는 추천 기법의 성능을 다양한 방법을 통해 평가한다.

      조합적 사고를 이용한 새로운 화학 분수 개발

      이 연구의 목적은 조합적 사고를 이용한 새로운 화학 분수를 개발하는 것이다. 기존의 암모니아 분수와 PbI2 앙금 생성 반응을 조합하여 분수가 발생되면서 노란색 앙금이 생성되는 새로운 분수 실험을 개발하였다. 초·중등 교육과정에서 다루어지고 있는 기체의 용해도, 압력 차이, 앙금 생성 반응 등의개념이 포함되어 있으며, 창의적 탐구 실험으로 널리 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다. The purpose of this study was to develop a new chemical fountain experiment using a combinational thinking. The combination of the ammonia fountain and the PbI2 precipitation reaction yields a new chemical fountain which shows to generate a yellow precipitation. The contents of this new experiment are the solubility of gas, the difference of pressure, and precipitation reaction and this experiment can be used as a creative inquiry experiment.
