높은 반응성을 가지는 Al-Ni-Y(또는 Ce)합금을 60°각도의 날카로운 edge를 가지는 구리휠을 사용하여 용탕추출법(melt extration)에 의해 연속적인 비정질 와이어를 제조할 수 있었다. 와이어는 원형 단면을 가지고 지름이 35∼50㎛범위였다. 와이어의 열적 성질은 멜트스피닝법으로 제조딘 두께 15㎛인 리본재와 거의 같앗다. 그리고 연성도 우수하고 1020MPa의 커다란 인장강도가 비정질 Al86Nil0Y4합금와이어에서 얻어졌다. 리본재에 비해서 본 제조기술이 높으 응고속도를 가지는 것이 밝혀졌는데, 이것은 체적에 비해서 훨씬 큰 표면적을 가짐으로써 아르곤 가스 분위기하에서 쉽게 과냉이 되기 때문이라고 생각된다. The application of a melt extraction method using a copper wheel with a steep edge to Al-Ni-Y(or Ce) alloys with highly reactive molten states was found to cause the formation of continuous amorphous wire. The wires have circular cross section and the diameters are in the range of 35 to 50㎛. The thermal property of the wire is nearly the same as that of the melt-spun ribbon with the 15㎛ thick. and same composition. The wires have good bending ductility and a tensile strength of 1020 MPa. The high cooling rate for the present pocess is accomplished presumably because the supercooled liquid with a small volume and a large outer area to volume ratio is solidified homogeneously without contact of other substances. The combination of the solidification process with high cooling rate and the good bending ductility into the wire shape allows us to expect that the present process develops as an alternative method to produce amorphous ally wires in various kinds of alloy systems including reactive elements as main components.

On July 7 1996, our government announced that we had achieved another inspiring achievement following our administration to the Security Council of the United Nations. This was latest achievement our joining in the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development. We were admitted to the organization after admittance of Mexico in 1994 and Czecho, Hungary and Poland in 1995. Our country was ranked 11th GNP and 12th in Trade in 1995. Among Asian countries, we have a rather high GNP, behind only Japan and Taiwan. According to the report of IMD, out of 48 countries examined, Korea ranked 24th. Such numeral figures as above suggest that the international status of Korea has resulted in a rise in the standard of living of the Korean people. However, the problems of politics, social affairs, environment, the relationship between employer and employee and traffic order system seem to be lagging behind, which is very deplorable. Especially, the stagnation of our political is at the level of underdeveloped countries. Though half a century has passed since the division of our country, we are still engaged in a cold war between the South and the North and still unable to achieve reunification. Moreover, we have never carried out a peaceful change of power and political power dominated by specific regions and cliques. As a result of this the conflict among regions is still peaked and public opinions is divided. In light of these conditions, I have focused on how to realize political reality which is well-balanced with economic development and have tried to analyze and portray the reason that Korea has failed in its peaceful change of power, centering on the situation before and after the presidential election, and the strategic perspective of the ruling party.
SiC 휘스커 보강 Al 복합재료의 미세조직과 기계적 특성에 관한 연구

This study aims at establishing the correlation of microstructure and mechanical properties of 2124-T6 Al composites reinforced with 7, 15, 20 v/o SiC whiskers. Tensile tests along with Charpy impact tests were conducted over the test temperature range from -196℃ to 100℃. Notched round tensile tests and subsequent metallographic observations as well as in-situ SEM observation of crack opening processes were performed for the purpose of identifying the micro-mechanical processes involved in void initiation. The experimental results indicated that the impact energy was found to increase monotonically with decreasing the amount of SiC whiskers and with inceasing the test temperature. Microvoids were observed to nucleate at the interface between the aluminum matrix and SiC whikskers, confirming that the formation of voids at the interfaces is the main metallurgical factor which contributes to the reduction of fracture toughness. In addition, the Mn-containing intermetallic particles strongly affect the fracture processes in these composites.

The objects of physical education are the human being and body. The view of body has a great influence on physical education. Therefore the purpose of this study is reveal the view of body in the Holy Bible. Hellenist thought materials and physical things were fundmentally evil, but only spiritual things were good. So they made light of body. While Hevraist had the monistic point of view that a human being is a total being, and body and soul are not separable. These many Hebrew ideas and influence continue to be at work in Paul of the New Testament. Dualism was never considered by the Holy Bible and it never accepted the soul of immortality even though it used many psychological terms to describe the nature of mankind. The Holy Bible under the influence of Hebraism understood the human being as a monism. So it did not classify the body and mind, but integrated them in one. Body in the Holy Bible has a very comprehensive significance. Paul in the Holy Bible does not think dichotomistically and the term body does not for him denote only the external and material organization of man to be brought to life by the soul or the spirit. Man not only has a body. On the other hand, it is in this being a body that there is the possibility of the distinction between man and himself, between the 'I' and its self-realization in thoughts and acts. Body represents the image of man as he was created by God, was intended for God, and will therefore be saved from death by God. Flesh has for him the significance of what is human in its weakness, dependence on God, and perishableness in itself: on the other hand, flash is the preganant and very specific description of man in his sin, and the coinciding of being human and being a sinner is therefore expressed in it. Body and flash are used synonyously in describing the whole man in his trmporal bodily existence. Paul in the Holy Bible thought that body was fundamental and elemental to human being and he understood human being as a whole personality. Paul did not make light of body. It is very significant in the history of idea on physical education for him to assert that one should have sound mind and body under the circumstance of the Hellenistic dualism and extreme Stocism.

To examine the tendency towards the emotional disorders in undergraduate students, Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory was administered to two groups, the normal undergraduated student group and the clients of Student Guidance Center at KPNU. The MMPI profiles for both groups were compared. The results are as following; 1) Overall mean scores for both groups were under normal range. 2) Individual profiles deviated from normal range were closely examined; more than 33% of the normal undergraduate students and 73% of the clients of Student Guidance Center had abnormal profiles. 3) Individuals having abnormal profiles manifested problems that might be related to depression and anxiety disorders. Most of them had neurotic tendency, but some showed psychotic tendency. 4) Those with abnormal profiles seem that they need to take therapeutic intervention, and those approach will beæfit them in terms of alleviating the symptoms. 5) Considering the size of the proportion of students with emotional problems, Student Guidance Center in every college should have specialists who can deal with emotional problems of students.

The purpose of this article is to investigate some instructional strategies for the integration of ICT with classroom teaching based on three propositions. The propositions are action research on ICT by teacher's own initiative, teacher's positive and active attitude in solving problems produced in the process of ICT implementation, and the needs of school-based educational improvement. Topics discussed include the characteristics of learning tasks and there instructional strategies; types of internet-based teaching methods and instructional strategies; procedural strategies for internet-based ICT use in classroom teaching.

증기발생기 세관 비파괴 검사에 유도초음파를 적용하기 위한 예비 실험을 수행하였다. 이를 위하여 증기 발생기 세관을 실험 대상으로 하여 분산 선도 및 특정 모드에 대응하는 초음파 입사각의 계산을 수행하였고 short time Fourier transform을 이용한 시간-주파수 분석을 통하여 유도초음파 모드를 확인하였으며, 유도 초음파가 증기발생기 세관의 곡관 부분을 통과할 때 모드 변환이 발생하지 않는 것을 실험적으로 확인하였다. 탐촉자 사이의 거리를 바꾸면서 수신한 초음파 신호에 대한 시간-주파수분석으로부터 군속도를 계산하였다. 유도 초음파를 이용한 증기발생기 세관의 최적 검사 모드를 제안하고 실험에 의하여 이를 확인하였다.
