        실내조경 수공간의 이용만족도 요인 평가

        The purpose of this study is to analyse six different factors of water space that influence interior landscape architecture of officers and commercial spaces. Six different factors of water space that influence interior landscape architecture are the height of the water space, the design form, the blending with the location environment, location, general satisfaction with the water space, and general satisfaction with whole space. The results of this study are as follows: 1. Water space of commercial space was bigger than office space. The satisfaction is the highest in 0∼0.6M(B2) of office space and 3.5M(C6) of commercial space. The cascade form in the office space and large water volume design in commercial areas, which supplies abundant sound and water volume, were the highest. 2. In the analysis of preferences, the design form and the general design of the office space influences satisfaction levels. The height of the water space, and a combination of other factors influence general satisfaction. Water space influences commercial areas in higher degrees. 3. The items were most desired or satisfactory for interior landscape architecture were a cascade, water fall, and small water fountain. 4. A place introduced with water space had higher satisfaction levels. Water space produces higher than general satisfaction and indicates water, space alone cannot make general interior space satisfactory, although it can make interior landscape architecture space satisfactory. 5. There is more general satisfaction in commercial space than in office space. 6. The design of water space influences overall satisfaction: a rest area of office space needs an impressive and aggressive approach, while the office space should harmonize with its surroundings, as a commercial space.

        워터프론트(Waterfront)내 친수공간 디자인 방향에 관한 연구

        This study searches the meaning and peculiarity of Waterfront and Water-friendly space for finding of design direction of these. I define that Human, Water and City are the principle elements of Water-friendly space design and find out the realm of that, communication design(Water-Human), urban environmental design(Water-City) and life system desing(Human-City). I analysis some examples of good waterfronts, Naples, Rio de Janeiro and Sydney. So, I present that waterfront design elements are peculiar culture, event and unique facility. Water-friendly space design strategy of This analysis are 'Water-friendly space for good life city', 'Water-friendly space for good work city' and 'Water-friendly space for good sightseeing city because It focus on the relation between City and Water-friendly space. So, It present that the design direction of the Water-friendly space in waterfront are 'Concern about Nature', 'Unity and Uniqueness', 'Artificial Ecology', 'Tactile-sensuous Space', 'Context' and 'Accessibility'. 'Concern about Nature' is design for ecosystem preservation. 'Unity and Uniqueness' is harmonious coexistence with 'Unity' of city space and 'Uniqueness' of each Water-friendly space. 'Artificial Ecology' is 'play' for change. 'Tactile-sensuous Space' is 'contact' with nature's elements. 'Context' is good continuity between city and water-friendly space. And 'Accessibility' is amusing approach to water-friendly space And also to examine the possibility of application to the actual zone, we have designed the Water-friendly space of Busan South Port and Gamcheon Port in Busan. Through this research, we have come to realize that it's necessity of deep concern about Water, City and Human for the good design of the Water-friendly space in waterfront. 워터프론트(Waterfront)내 친수공간 디자인에 대하여 알아보기 위해 본 연구는 워터프론트(Waterfornt)과 친수공간의 개념과 특성에 대하여 알아보았다. 친수공간의 특성을 근거로 친수공간 디자인의 중심요소를 인간, 물 그리고 도시로 정의하고 이들 간의 관계에서 커뮤니케이션 디자인, 도시환경디자인, 생활시스템디자인이란 디자인 영역이 형성됨을 알았다. 친수공간의 디자인 방향을 설정하기 위해 친수공간을 포함하고 있는 워터프론트(Waterfornt)의 사례로 이탈리아의 나폴리, 브라질의 리오데 자네이로 그리고 시드니의 특성을 분석하여 특유의 문화, 이벤트 그리고 차별화된 인공시설물이란 디자인 주요 3요소를 제시하였다. 위의 내용을 근거로 도시와의 관계를 중요시하여 ‘살기 좋은 도시를 위한 친수공간’, ‘일하기 좋은 도시를 위한 친수공간’ 그리고 ‘여행하기 좋은 친수공간’을 친수공간 디자인 전략으로 하여 ‘자연에 대한 배려’, ‘통일성과 차별성’, ‘인공생태학’, ‘감각적 공간 체험’, ‘맥락살리기’ 그리고 ‘접근성’을 디자인 방향으로 제시하였다. ‘자연에 대한 배려’는 자연생태계를 유지하는 방향의 디자인, ‘통일성과 차별성’은 도시공간으로서의 통일성과 각각의 친수공간의 특성을 가져야 함을, ‘인공생태학’은 변화에 적응할 수 있는 여유, ‘감각적 공간 체험’은 자연요소와의 접촉, ‘맥락살리기’는 도시공간과 친수공간과의 연속성 그리고 ‘접근성’은 즐거운 친수공간 접근을 말한다. 디자인 방향의 적용가능성을 살펴보기 위해 부산광역시의 친수공간에 대한 전체적 디자인 컨셉을 설정하고 차별화를 위한 남항지구와 감천항지구의 개별 컨셉을 설정하였다. 그리고 남항지구와 감천항지구의 친수공간과 진입공간을 컨셉과 친수공간 디자인 방향에 맞도록 디자인 하였다. 이러한 과정을 통해 본 연구를 통해 제시한 친수공간 디자인 방향의 적용가능성을 살펴보았으며, 물, 도시 그리고 인간의 관계에 대한 깊은 사고가 필요함을 알게 되었다.

        바이오필릭 디자인에 의한 수공간의 공간구조 연구

        (Background and Purpose) The increase in interest in individual health problems due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic seems to reflect the desperate need for a green city and a healthy spatial environment. From agricultural society to modern times, humans are all part of nature, and the natural environment has a healing effect on the human body. Water is the core of natural environment management, an essential element for human survival, and an infrastructure industry that creates a civilized society. Therefore, the application of a biophilic design can help heal a person's mental and physical health while satisfying their material and functional needs in water space. This study intends to focus on water and nature through the design elements derived in this study and suggest a direction for people to reasonably design ecologically and sustainably developed water spaces in the future. (Method) By investigating related previous studies, the definitions of biophilic design and water space are obtained, and the composition characteristics of biophilic design and water space are analyzed. Based on the biophilic design and water space characteristics derived through the review of literature, it is comprehensively reviewed, analyzed, and re-established in three common aspects to derive the expressive characteristics of the biophilic design for water space utilization. Based on the expression characteristics derived through case analysis, after investigating the effect on water space through biophilic design, various design proposals and directions for the biophilic design of water space are presented. (Results) Based on the review of previous studies on biophilic design and water space, it is divided into 12 aspects: physical fluidity, plasticity, adjustability, and ecology; functional focus, connectivity, induction, and separability; and sensory culture, aesthetics, healing, and experience. By analyzing the cases based on the derived characteristics, overall sensory aesthetics are found to be the highest among all the design elements, and sensory experience, physical ecology, sensory culture, physical fluidity and plasticity, and functional focus, induction, connectivity, and separation were the lowest. (Conclusions) This study complements the evolutionary elements lacking in urban space to help people connect with nature in life through research on the rational application of biophilic design in water space. Space should not be a barrier to nature but function as an integral part that is organically combined with nature. Therefore, the direction of development is to design water spaces rich in functional, rational, and unique formations and contents of space and include biophilic design elements using methods and theories that constantly design water spaces in abundance.

        주거단지 내 수공간에 대한 주민 만족도와 선호도 조사 연구 -광주광역시 5개 아파트 단지를 대상으로-

        This study focused on the analysis of satisfaction and preference of residents` for water space as a environmental friendly facility in residential complex. The purpose of this study is to serve design data of water space in residential complex, in order to make water space that residents` satisfaction are high. In this study, residents` satisfaction and preferences of water space in 5 residential complex were analyze through a questionnaire survey of residents. The major findings of the study are as follows. First, in terns of the need of the water space, 60.4% of the respondents answered that water space are need to improve the amenity. Secondly, in terms of satisfaction, 57.3% of the respondents have been satisfied with location of water space in the residential complex, and the maintenance satisfaction degree is above average level. Overall satisfaction degree is above average level too, but it is are not high as compared construction cost. Thirdly, in terms of preference, 26.5% of respondents have been prefer to the combined type of water space, and 25.9% of respondents prefer to dropping water type, and 25.9% of respondents prefer to flowing stream type. It appeared that the preference levels of 3 type is high similarly, so we can assume that residents prefer to moving water type because of having a feeling refreshed through the sound of water. The results of this study can be used as the design data of water space in residentialcomplex and expected to contributed in making the water space that residents` satisfaction are high.

      • 현대식음공간의 수공간 연출기법에 관한 연구

        We have introduced natural elements to our daily or non-daily spaces so as to keep our composure in our rapid economic growth, urbanization and hectic lives. For those who have wanted to escape from their pressing lives, there has been an increase in the active use of natural elements, specifically water, in a space. The harmony between water as a natural element and space as an artificial entity could be transformed while connecting the artificial with part of nature. Besides, water has a benefit of being used in a very diverse form and characteristics of modifying the atmosphere of space by interacting with people"s senses of vision, hearing and smell in architectural space. Especially, there has been a trend of applying water space to food and beverage space among commercial spaces, thus creating pleasant and unexpected space and letting customers enjoy an experience of escaping from their daily lives during their meal time. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to analyze the components, exhibition techniques & expression traits that would create water space introduced to the interiors of modern food and beverage space and to examine how the efficient exhibition of water space could be applied to the interior space. Namely, based on the analyzed results, it was aimed to deduce the techniques that could be exhibited when adopting water space into the interiors and to find out how it could be actively introduced in food and beverage space.

        사례분석을 통한 단독주택 수공간 계획에 관한 연구

        본 연구는 사례 분석을 통해 거주환경에 도입되는 수공간의 계획 특성을 분석하였다. 수공간 디자인이 다소 다양하 고 복잡한 배경을 전제로 이루어짐을 알았지만 분석 내용을 토대로 나름의 계획적 원칙을 추출하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 수공간 계획에서 가장 중요한 것은 인식의 전환이다. 성공한 사례는 계획 초기부터 수공간을 부가 요소가 아닌 주거 환경구성의 핵심 요소로 인식하며 다루고 있다. 2) 단순히 수공간의 존재가 미학적/심리적 효과를 나타내지는 못한다. 물의 특성, 수공간 형태, 재현방식, 물리적 경계, 연출 기법 등의 계획 요소들이 일련의 구성 질서를 가져야 하며 이러한 질서가 인간의 지각과 심리에 작용함 으로써 수공간은 디자인 요소로서 가치를 발휘한다. 3) 수공간의 특성 중 가장 강조 되는 성질은 반사, 반영, 투명성이었다. 반사성은 작은 양의 물에, 반영성은 많은 양 의 물에, 투명성은 흐르는 물에서 강조 되었다. 이 세 가지 성질은 복합적으로 나타나며 투명한 물은 바닥의 다양한 형태를 보여주며 또 매끄러운 물표면, 거기에 반사되는 사물의 이미지가 혼합되어 미학적 효과를 나타낸다. 4) 수공간의 형태는 주거공간의 성격과 조화를 고려하여 대부분 고인물/ 담수의 형태를 주로 이룬다. 그러나 몇 몇 사례에서 보여준 다양한 형태와 기능의 수공간 조합은 마치 자연의 물처럼 예상치 못한 효과를 나타내고 주거 생활 을 더욱 풍부하게 해준다. 5) 또한 수공간의 형태가 중심, 경계, 방향 등의 주거공간의 성질에 영향을 끼치며 이로 인해 주거공간을 적극적으 로 연결, 분리, 통합하고 있다. 수공간과 주거 공간이 흥미롭게 조우하면서 새로운 형태 및 의미를 생성시킨다. 6) 수공간과 함께 적용되는 조명, 음악, 조각 등의 부가 요소들은 디자인 효과를 높여주는 보조 역할을 한다. 이것 은 단순히 시각적인 효과를 넘어 청각/촉각 등의 모든 감각을 만족시키는 풍부한 효과를 완성시킨다. The purpose of this study is to analyze the planning characteristics of water spaces introduced into residential environments through case analysis. The results of this study are as follows. (1) It is most important in water space plan to transform the recognition of water spaces. Successful cases recognize water spaces not as the additional element of residential environment composition but as its central element. (2) The simple existence of water spaces does not have their esthetic/ psychological effects. The planning elements including water features, water space forms, representation methods, physical boundaries, and producing techniques should maintain a series of composing order, which operates on the perception and psychology of human beings, so that water spaces show the value of design elements. (3) Reflex, reflection, and transparency were the natures which were emphasized most among the features of water spaces. Reflex was emphasized in the water of small quantity, reflection in the water of large quantity, and transparency in flowing water respectively. (4) The forms of water spaces consider the harmony with the characters of residential spaces to mainly create the forms of stagnant water/ contained water. However, in several cases, combining the water spaces of diverse forms and functions represents unexpected effects like natural water to make a residential life more affluent. (5) Also, the forms of water spaces influence the features of residential spaces such as centers, boundaries, and directions to connect with, separate from, and integrate with residential spaces actively. (6) The additional elements including lighting, music, and sculpture, which are applied along with water spaces, play an auxiliary role in enhancing design effects. These elements transcend the simple visual effect to complete the affluent effect of satisfying all the senses such as auditory and tactile senses.

        국내 리조트 및 호텔 객실 수공간의 변화와 유형에 관한 연구

        Recently in Korea, there have been a trend in accommodations that adopted water space as major programs, available for bathing, playful water features, and spa program ranging from the guest room with water space in its interior or exterior space, to the pool villa. It has been common to enclose a bathroom within wet walls due to its equipment, water and moisture proof requirements. Therefore bathing at lodging facility was commonly done within an enclosed space at a guest room or at public bath facility, and water play was usually done with others in a public swimming pool. However, recent cases show that bath function is designed in the form of escaping from its original plan, enclosed within wet walls, and appears as a separate feature within a room or outside of a room or even as a private swimming pool, creating an importance to these programs. Such trend has mostly started to appear in the 2000s and it is a trend that reflects specific changes in guest room designs. In this study, we define water space in a guest room as a space where its purpose is for bathing and water play. We investigate into what differences in leisure environment caused such a change in space making by studying its background and precedent studies and then proceed to understand guest room design trends through analyzing case studies. The purpose of this study is to utilize the survey as basic research data to be further interpreted and be used as a design tool for planning water spaces in guest rooms. This study mainly addresses a location and a type of water spaces based on their purposes in the guest room. However, follow-up researches are expected to be varied with studies such as analysis on materials and details of the water spaces in the guest room, and ways to maximize phenomenological and perceptual experience and its architectural effects on water spaces.

        지역 공공건축 수공간의 해석과 디자인 방안에 관한 연구

        Water can be the origin of human being life from the natural elements. Also it coexists with building variously to the true identity characteristic of the building. This paper considered the design effect and the improvement of characteristic of water space which is introduced in public architecture through theoretical investigation and site research. The purpose of paper is to propose the rational design plan of water space in public architecture. The results of this study were as follows; first, water space in the public architecture is contributed to raise a stay characteristic and to make open space. Second, water space in the public architecture is an element which strengthens a place characteristic to operate analogic and perceptional element in the user. And It makes environmental architecture-friendly to persue harmony with nature. Third, architect has to raise an experience effect to produce a three-dimensional water form in the water space design. In other words, it produces the place which can experience with the five senses. Fourth, architect must apply water space to the strategy tool of public architectural design through research of an effect of water, value of water and control technique of water space.

        Spa 공간의 치유적 체험 특성 연구

        (연구배경 및 목적) 현대사회의 급속한 경제 및 산업발전, 도시화는 인간에게 각종 스트레스를 야기하였다. 이에 인간의 육체적인 부분, 또한 정신적인 영역까지 치유 되는 복합적인 치유환경이 주목 받기 시작하였으며, 그중 인간 중심적인 접근 방법과 공간체험을 중요시 하는 치유 환경에 대한 요구와 이에 대한 연구 필요성이 증대되고 있다. 현대사회의 이러한 문제 그리고 그 연구에 대한 필요성을 직시하여, 인간생명의 근원이라 할 수 있는 자연요소인 물이 그 해결책이 될 수 있다고 생각되었으며, 이러한 생각을 바탕으로 물을 통한 치유의 가능성을 제시하고자, 인간과 물의 집적적인 관계를 가진 공간 중 Spa를 대상으로 체험적 치유공간을 연구하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 물과의 체험을 통한 인간의 감정효과를 파악하고, 또한 사람들의 스트레스를 해소시킬 수 있고, 심리적 안정을 줄 수 있는 치유공간의 가능성을 연구하는데 그 목적이 있다. (연구방법) 우선, 체험의 개념을 알아보고 어떠한 체험을 통해 치유가 되는지 그 방법을 분석한다. 또한 이에 따라 치유공간을 구성하기 위한 대안으로서 감각체험을 제시하고, 시각적, 청각적, 촉각적 체험 등 세 가지로 나누어, 각각의 체험과 복합적인 체험을 통한 감정효과를 분석하며, 물을 도입하여, 물의 개념과 물이 가지는 기본적인 특성에 대해서 조사, 그리고 연출방법에 따라 도출되는 공간적 효과, 감각체험을 통해 나오는 감정효과와 이에 따른 치유효과를 살펴본다. 구체적으로, 앞서 고찰된 물의 특성과 물의 연출방법에 따른 감각체험과 그 치유효과를 토대로 분석 매트리스를 설정하고, 5개의 서로 다른 자연적인 Spa 공간사례에 대한 연구를 진행하였다. (결과) 본 연구는 종합적 사례 분석을 통하여 물의 연출방법과 특성에 따른 서로 다른 감각체험을 통한 다양한 치유효과를 도출해 내었다. 일례로 물의 맑기, 반사, 울림, 밝기의 정도가 크면 보통 사람의 마음을 평온하고 침착하게 하는 효과를 불러일으켰다; 수량이 풍부하고, 맑고, 유동, 소리가 크고, 감촉이 거칠면, 지쳐있던 사람에게 에너지를 주는 효과를 가져왔다; 수량이 풍부하고 탁하고, 뿌연 물에서는 신비스러움과 편안함을 도출해 낼 수 있었다. (결론) 현대적 의미의 치유공간이란, 신체적인 치유 뿐 만 아니라 마음의 치유도 되는 복합적인 치유공간이다. 이에 생활에 반드시 필요한 요소인 물을 이용한 체험을 통해, 사람들의 감각을 깨우며, 스트레스를 해소하고 또한 마음이 치유되도록 공간을 구성하는 것은 충분한 연구 가치가 있다고 생각하며, 물과의 체험을 기반으로 하는 치유환경을 조성하는 요소와 계획의 방향을 제시하는 데 그 의의가 있다고 할 수 있겠다. (Background and Purpose) Through rapid economic and industrial development, the urbanization of modern society has caused a variety of stress for humans. Thus, the environment for complex healing with mental to physical cures has gained attention. Above all, the demand for healing environments based on anthropocentric approaches and space experience is increasing. Specifically, water, the foundation of human life, is considered the best solution. To propose the potential of recovery through water, “spas” were selected as the space that has a direct relation between humans and water. The purpose of this study is to identify the emotional effect of humans’ experience with water and propose a healing space that can reduce stress and provide mental relaxation. (Method) First, this study attempts to understand the concept of, and identify the type of experience that possesses, healing power. This study proposes sensual experience as an alternative for creating healing space, and categorizes feelings into three groups: visual, hearing, and touching. This study identifies sensual effects through the respective experience and multiple experiences, and studies the concept and essential characteristics of water. This study also examines the spatial effect, emotional effect, and healing effect. More specifically, based on the sensual experience and the healing effect through the characteristics and the presentation method of water, this study establishes an analysis table and lists of five different natural spa spaces. (Results) Through the general case examination, this study deduced various healing effects of different sensual experiences based on the presentation method of water. For instance, a high level of clearness, reflection, resonance, and brightness of the water created feelings of peace and calm. High quantity, clearness, flow, and rough sound energized tired people. High quantity, impure, and hazy water gave off sensations of mystery and comfort. (Conclusions) Healing space in modern society means the complex environment that provides physical and mental cures. This study has value as it provides a space for people to wake their senses, relieve their stress, and cure their minds through experience with water, the essential factor in human life. The significance of this study is that it provides the composing factors and direction for future plans of healing environments based on the experience with water.

        유휴 공간에 LID 기법을 활용한 생태연못의 수질 모니터링

        The purpose of this study is to construct ecological pond using LID technique in order to create naturally comfortable community space in urban idle space. The specification of the ecological pond is 110 m2 of surface area, 0.45±0.02 m of average depth, and bed material is composed of gravel (diameter ≤60 mm), sand (diameter ≤ 2 mm) and bentonite. Rainfall and water depth monitoring were conducted to determine the annual characteristics of inflow of the water for the ecological pond, result of total rainfall was 1,287 mm and showed a seasonal imbalance that accounted for 71.3% (918 mm) during July to August, but the annual mean water depth was kept constant at 0.45±0.02 m due to the secondary water source. Annual trends of basic water quality showed a significant changes according to the season, such as water temperature (5.2 ~ 28.8 °C), DO (5.0 ~ 13.8 mg/L), EC (113 ~ 265 μS/cm). BOD, COD, TN, and TP in physicochemical water quality tended to increase after October, but the ion parameters such as NH3 and PO4 3- were generally low. Phytoplankton indicators Chl-a and BGA (blue green algae) showed a sharp increase from July to August, and green algae (Selenastrum bibraianum, Pediastrum boryanum etc.) and filamentous blue green algae (Phormidium sp.) emerged as a dominant species. The ion parameters (F-, Na+, K+, Mg2+, Ca2+) were strongly correlated with the Cl- as a conservative substance (R=0.70~0.97, p<0.05). Water quality was influenced by the ambient environment such as seasonal changes or rainfall, and it was closely related to fluctuation of the inflow of the water. In the future, it is necessary to consider ecological connections by referring to the characteristics surveyed in this study in order to effectively manage the water quality and biodiversity of the ecological pond in idle space. 본 연구에서는 도시 내 유휴공간을 대상으로 자연적이고 쾌적한 커뮤니티 공간 창출을 위해 LID (low impact development) 기법을 활용한 생태연못 건설을 추진하였다. 생태연못의 제원은 면적 110 m2, 평균 수심 0.45±0.02 m 이며, 하상재료는 자갈(gravel) (diameter ≤60 mm), 모래(diameter ≤2 mm), bentonite로 구성하였다. 조성된 생태연못의 연간 유량 특성을 파악하기 위해 강우 및 수심 모니터링을실시한 결과, 1년간 조사된 총 강우량은 1,287 mm이며 7, 8월에 전체의 약 71.3% (918 mm)를 차지하는계절적 불균형을 보였으나 보조수원의 공급으로 인해 연간 평균수심은 0.45±0.02 m로 거의 일정하게유지되었다. 기초수질의 연간 경향은 수온(5.2∼28.8 °C), DO (5.0∼13.8 mg/L), EC (113∼265 μS/cm) 등의 사례를 볼 때 계절에 따른 증감을 나타내었다. 이화학적 수질 중 BOD, COD, TN, TP의 경우 10월이후에 증가하는 경향을 보였으나 NH3나 PO43-는 전반적으로 낮았다. 식물플랑크톤 지표인 Chl-a와BGA (blue green algae)는 7∼8월에 급격한 상승을 보였으며 정체수역의 특성에 따라 녹조류(Selenastrum bibraianum, Pediastrum boryanum 등)와 사상형 남조류(Phormidium sp.)가 주요 종으로 출현하였다. 수중 이온(F-, Na+, K+, Mg2+, Ca2+)은 보존성 물질인 Cl-와 강한 상관관계를 보였다(R=0.70∼0.97, p<0.05). 결론적으로 생태연못의 수질은 계절변화 또는 강우와 같은 외부 환경에 영향을크게 받는 것으로 나타났으며, 유량의 증감과 밀접한 관계가 있음을 보였다. 이러한 결과를 근거로 향후유휴공간에 적용된 생태연못의 효과적인 수질관리 및 생물다양성 증진을 위해서는 본 연구에서 조사된 특성들을 참고하여 생태적으로 상호 연계성 있는 고찰이 필요할 것으로 판단된다.
