      • 태권도 수련생의 참여 동기 및 수련만족이 자아개념에 미치는 영향

        Taekwondo does not only fulfill physical needs of children but also fulfills the needs which their textbooks cannot complete such as sentiments and social activities in mental and educational aspects. Therefore, this paper will examine self-concepts of elementary students resulting from their motives of participation and atisfaction levels of Taekwondo and establish their correlation.The object of study for this study is 292 children between 10 to 13 ages who currently live in Seoul Metropolitan and Kyungi area with at least one year of Taekwondo training with the presence of any degrees. The questionnaires are compose of 6 questions from human-statistical features, 15 questions from motives for participation, 15 questions from the satisfaction of training, and finally 45 questions from self-concept. The motives for participation is subdivided into intellectual motives, social motives, and cognitive motives the satisfaction of training is subdivided into psychological satisfaction, social satisfaction and physiological satisfaction; and finally, the self-concept is subdivided into academic self-concept, physical self-concept, and social self-concept. And the followings are the results earned from this study. First, according to the human-statistical features, the motives of participation of the participants vary attentively from different sex, age, degrees and the duration of training within the group. Second, according to the human-statistical features, the satisfaction levels of training varies attentively from different sex, age, degrees and the duration of training within the roup. Third, the motives of participation, the satisfaction levels of training, and the self-concepts of Taekwondo trainees have attentive correlation.Fourth, the motives of participation of Taekwondo trainees attentively influence all three subcategories of self-concepts - academic self-concept, physical self-concept, and social self-concept. Fifth, the satisfaction levels of Taekwondo trainees attentively influence only two out of three subcategories - academic self-concept and social selfconcept. As clearly stated above, there is an attentive difference between the motives of participation and the satisfaction levels of elementary students training Taekwondo according to the human-statistical features. Furthermore, considering the motives of participation and the satisfaction levels of training positively influence the self-concepts, future studies should progress toward generalization of studies than focusing on the outcomes of the studies.

        미술 자아개념 척도 개발에 관한 연구

          이 연구의 목적은 학습자들이 미술 활동에서 경험한 자신의 느낌과 견해 및 태도를 알아 보기위해 미술 자아개념 척도를 개발하여 미술 교수-학습에 도움을 주고자 하는데 있다. 이 연구에서는 자아개념의 이론적 배경을 바탕으로 미술교육과 자아개념의 관계를 살피며 미술자아개념의 의미와 구조를 통해 실제 미술자아개념의 척도를 개발하였다. 미술 자아개념 척도의 하위 요인은 형태표현 자아개념, 색채표현 자아개념, 입체표현 자아개념, 공간표현 자아개념, 창의력표현 자아개념, 상상력표현 자아개념으로 구성하였다. 하위 요인에 맞게 제작한 설문지를 초등학교 6학년 118명을 대상으로 예비 검사를 실시하였다. 본 검사는 신뢰도가 낮은 문항과 각 하위 요인과의 관련성이 적은 문항을 제거하고 수정된 41문항으로 초등학교 6학년 450명을 대상으로 실시하였다. 본 검사의 분석 결과로 전체 영역에서 Cronbach의 알파 계수가 0.952의 높은 신뢰도가 나왔다. 또한 요인 분석에 의해 형태표현 자아개념 8문항, 색채표현 자아개념 8문항, 입체표현 자아개념 7문항, 공간표현 자아개념 5문항 , 창의력표현 자아개념 7문항, 상상력표현 자아개념 6문항으로 최종 문항이 선정되었다.   The purpose of this research is to give help to the art teaching-learning and to watch students" belief & attitude by developing art-related self concept scale. The art-related self concept is a kind of self concept on a special course -Art - which have a theoretical basis called self concept. Art activities have relationship with self concept of an affective domain in view of self expressing like a thoughts, feeling, and opinions etc. We should consider an affirmative self concept from art activities and an affirmative art-related self concept because an affirmative self concept is giving help to learning accomplishment & character building. Actually many research on self concept & art education have been produced in recent years.<BR>  Art-related self concept was mentioned by Vispoel"s ‘art ability self concept’ and we already have got the research about self concept in Korea. But we need the diverse and active research into the subject so I have tried to develop an art-related self concept scale.<BR>  I made the notion of The art-related self concept of this research as “the self feeling & opinion which a student experienced from art activities and the extent of the estimating belief & attitude of oneself"s art which were made up through interaction from significant others”. And I composed the sub factor of art-related self concept as 6 parts - shape express self concept, color express self concept, cubic express self concept, space express self concept, creativity express self concept, imagination express self concept - on the basis of the notion on art self concept scale.<BR>  I had a primary test to the sixth grade of elementary school 118 students with the 52 questions which properly fit to each sub factor and I made the low-reliable and improper questions correct.<BR>  The result of main test proves the total questions" high reliability with showing 0.952 α coefficient of Cronbach. Because the factor analysis have the KMO(Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin) 0.950 value so we can conclude that each factor can be explained very well by other variables. And also I made a decision the following questions as the final ones; shape express self concept 8 questions, color express self concept 8 questions, cubic express self concept 7 questions, space express self concept 5 questions, creativity express self concept 7 questions, imagination express self concept 6 questions

        직장인의 자아개념과 여가태도, 몰입경험 및 여가스포츠활동 참여정도의 관계

        The purpose of this study was to examine the relationship among self-concepts, leisure attitude, flow experience and degree of participation in leisure sports of office workers. To achieve the purpose of this study, white color workers who were working in a company located in Seoul, were selected as population of this study. After selecting 10 companies randomly, by using stratified cluster random sampling method,490 office workers were sampled for this study. A total of 450 subjects were used for employee data analysis. Instruments used in this study were Self-concepts scale, Leisure attitude scale, Flow experience scale, Participation in leisure sports scale. To analyze data, multiple regression and path analysis were conducted. The results of this study as follows; First,, social self-concept has the most strong effect on cognitive, affective, behavioral leisure attitude. Self-concepts mostly influence on affective leisure attitude than other variables. And, social self concept has the most strong effects on flow experience. Also, social self-concept has the most strong effects on cognitive, behavioral participation. And general self concept largely influence on affective participation. Self-concepts influence on affective participation larger than other variables. Second, this result was exposed to the caused relationship among self concepts, leisure attitude, flow experience and degree of participation in leisure sports. Behavioral leisure attitude has the most strong effects on cognitive participation. Self-concepts has an indirect effect through affective, behavioral leisure attitude, flow experience. Affective leisure attitude has most strong effects on affective participation and self-concepts has an indirect effect through affective leisure attitude. Behavioral leisure attitude has most strong effects on behavioral participation and self-concepts has an indirect effect through cognitive, affective, behavioral leisure attitude.

        자기수용 개념 연구의 역사적 동향 탐색과 제언

        This study attempted to identify research trends on how the concept of self-acceptance has been historically developed and analyze the characteristics and limitations of the research to suggest directions and tasks for future research. To this end, we explored the development process of self-acceptance concept research over the last 20th century, and analyzed the characteristics, differences and limitation of various self-acceptance concepts and representative concepts of self-acceptance scales. As the results of the study, first, the concept of self-acceptance first appeared to explain the healthy human image pursued by humanistic psychology in the 1940s. Since then, a number of self-acceptance scales under the influence of humanistic psychology were operationally defined using the characteristics of mentally healthy people identified through qualitative research. They were operationally defined and measured quite comprehensively as perceived ability, positive self concept, and human relations factors, so the validity of the measures was insufficient. Second, a more sophisticated and advanced self-acceptance concept has appeared since the 1990s. Unconditional self-acceptance based on rational emotional behavior therapy has presented a relatively precise self-acceptance concept without general self-evaluation. However it remains a task to discover similarities and differences between self-acceptance and self-esteem and to distinguish them conceptually. Third, the third wave cognitive behavioral therapy presented the possibility for developmental expansion of the self-acceptance concept in the aspect of emphasizing decentralized self that observes oneself away from own experience and accepting all experiences simultaneously. Based on study results, we suggested the need for the development of a new self-acceptance measure based on precise self-acceptance definitions, the development and expansion of self-acceptance concepts, and sophisticated search for the relationship between self-acceptance and mental health, which is the basis for clinical intervention. Finally, we discussed the significance and limitations of this study. 본 연구는 자기수용 개념이 역사적으로 어떻게 발전해 왔는지 연구 동향을 파악하고 특징 및 한계점을 분석하여 추후 연구를 위한 방향과 과제를 제안하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 지난 20세기에 걸쳐 이루어진 자기수용 개념 연구의 발전과정을 탐색하여 다양한 자기수용 개념과 대표적인 자기수용 척도들의 개념을 분석하였으며 그 한계점을 살펴보았다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 1940년대 자기수용 개념은 인간주의 심리학이 추구하는 건강한 인간상을 설명하기 위해 등장하였다. 이후 인간주의 심리학의 영향을 받아 자기수용을 측정하는 다수의 척도들은 질적 연구를 통해 밝혀낸 정신적으로 건강한 사람의 특징들을 사용해 자기수용 개념을 조작적으로 정의하였는데, 연구에 따라 자각된 능력, 긍정적 자아개념, 인간관계 요인 등과 혼용되고, 상당히 포괄적으로 정의, 측정되어 척도의 타당성이 부족하다는 한계점을 보였다. 둘째, 1990년대 이후 더 정교하고 발전적인 자기수용 개념이 등장하였다. 합리적 정서행동 치료를 기반으로 한 무조건적 자기수용은 전반적 자기평가를 배제한 자기수용 개념을 비교적 명료하게 제시하였으나 자기수용과 자존감 간의 유사점과 차이점을 밝히고 개념적으로 명확하게 구분하는 일은 여전한 과제로 남는다. 셋째, 제 3흐름의 인지행동치료에서는 모든 경험을 수용하는 동시에 경험에서 분리되어 자신을 관찰하는 탈중심적인 자기를 발견할 것을 강조한다는 측면에서 자기수용 개념의 발전적 확장 가능성을 보여주었다. 본 연구 결과를 토대로 자기수용의 명확한 개념 정의에 기반한 새로운 자기수용 척도개발, 자기수용 개념의 발전과 확장, 임상적 개입의 기초가 되는 자기수용과 정신건강의 관계에 대한 정교한 탐구의 필요성을 제안하였다. 끝으로 본 연구의 의의와 제한점을 논의하였다.

      • 뇌성 마비 청소년의 자아개념

        Background/Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the self-concept and related factors of the cerebral palsied adolescents and to gain the baseline data for development of effective rehabilitation nursing intervention program of the cerebral palsied adolescents. The design of this study was a descriptive survey study. Methods : The subjects of the study were 160 cerebral palsied adolescents attending at special schools located in Seoul and Kyonggi and rehabilitation centers located in Seoul, Kyonggi and Kyongnam province. The data was collected to interview with questionaires with school nurse and research assistant understanding the purpose of this study and researcher from May 20 to July 20, 2000.The instrument used for this study was the self-concept scale (50 items 4 point scale). Self-Concept Scale had developed by Fitt (1965), which was standardized by Chung (1968) and modified by Kim (1984). Result : The data was analyzed by the SPSS/PC+ program using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA & Scheffe test. The results of this study were as follows; 1. The mean score of self-concept was 138.55±17.20 (range: 50-200). 2. The subarea score of internal self concept was the highest score in self-identity score (49.39±7.61) and the lowest score in self-satisfaction score (43.93±6.47). 3. The subarea score of external self concept was the highest score in family self (30.19±5.40) and the lowest score in physical self (25.20±4.21). 4. There were statistically significant different in self-identity score according to the age (F=4.466, P=0.13), the grades (F=5.932, P=.005) and occupational training (F=-2.49, P=0.4). 5. There were statistically significant different in self-satisfaction score (F=2.281, P=.0491) and self-behavior score (F=3.741, P=.003) according to types of cerebral palsy. 6. There were statistically significant difference in moral ethical self-score according to the grades (F=3.847, P=.023) and types of cerebral palsy (F=2.605, P=.027). 7. There were statistically significant in family self-score according to the ages (F=6.038, P=.003), the grades (F=3.614, P=.029) and occupational training (F=-2.010, P=.010). 8. There were statistically significant in social self-score according to the type of cerebral palsy (F=3.861, P=.003). Conclusion : The self-concept of cerebral palsied adolescents was relatively low and related factor of self-concept were age, the grades, occupational training, types of cerebral palsy in cerebral palsied adolescents.

        초등학생의 학업·비학업 자아개념, 학업성취 관련 변인, 학업성취도 간의 구조적 관계

        본 연구의 목적은 학업·비학업 자아개념, 학업성취 관련 변인, 학업성취도 간의 구조적 관계를 살펴보고, 학업·비학업 자아개념과 학업성취도의 관계에서 학업성취 관련 변인의 다중매개효과를 확인하는 데에 있다. 본 연구를 위해 초등학교 5~6학년 388명을 대상으로 자아개념 척도, 자기결정성 동기 척도, 성취정서 척도, 학업노력 척도, 그리고 학업성취도 척도를 통하여 자료를 수집하였다. 주요 연구결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 초등학교 고학년의 학업(언어·수학) 자아개념이 긍정적일수록 자기결정성 동기와 성취정서(즐거움), 그리고 학업노력에 순차적으로 긍정적인 영향을 줌으로써, 학업성취도가 향상되는 구조적 관계가 성립되는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 초등학교 고학년의 비학업(친구관계·부모관계) 자아개념은 자기결정성 동기 및 성취정서(즐거움)를 거쳐 학업노력에 영향을 줌으로써, 궁극적으로 학업성취도가 개선되는 구조적 관계가 성립되는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 자아개념과 학업성취도의 관계에서 자기결정성 동기, 성취정서(즐거움), 학업노력이 순차적으로 매개변인의 역할을 수행하는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 교육 주체들에게 학생들의 학업 자아개념뿐만 아니라 비학업 자아개념도 함께 고려할 영역임을 시사한다. 그리고 자아개념이 학업 관련 동기·정서·행동에 작용하는 심리 과정을 보여줌으로써, 초등학생들의 학업 증진을 위한 개입 프로그램 개발 및 정책 수립에 대한 시사점을 제시한다. The purpose of this study is to identify the structural relationships among academic·non-academic self-concept, achievement-related variables, and academic achievement, including the multiple meditating effects of achievement-related variables on the relationship between academic·non-academic self-concept and academic achievement. The participants of this study were 388 students from 5th to 6th grade in four elementary schools. The major analysis results of this study are summarized as follows: First, the more positive the elementary school students’ academic self-concept(verbal self-concept, mathematic self-concept), the better their self-determined motivation, achievement emotions(enjoyment), academic effort, were, sequentially. In due course, it showed in the structural relationship that academic achievement was enhanced; Second, as the elementary school students’ non-academic self-concept(relation with friend self-concept, relation with parents self-concept) influences academic effort through self-determined motivation or achievement emotions(enjoyment), and eventually, it showed the structural relationship that an academic achievement was improved; Third, it revealed, in the relationship between academic·non-academic self-concept and academic achievement, the role that self-determined motivation, achievement emotions, and academic effort, sequentially, played in meditating variables. Based on the findings, limitations of this study and implications for future studies were discussed.

        자존감, 자존감 안정성, 자기개념 명료성과 심리적 적응과의 관계 탐색

        This study distinguished the content and structural aspects of self-concept and examined the relationships between self-esteem, stability of self-esteem, and self-concept clarity, and the relationship between those variables and psychological adjustment. Self-concept was measured by the Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale, Stability of Self-Esteem Scale, and Self-Concept Clarity Scale. There was a significant correlation among the three variables. Hierarchical and multiple regressions were used, with subjective well-being and mental health index as criterion variables, to investigate the relationship between the three variables and the individual’s psychological adjustment. Hierarchical regression showed that after controlling for self-esteem, the stability of self-esteem strongly predicted subjective well-being and accounted for an additional variance; however, self-concept clarity did not explain any incremental variance. Multiple regression revealed that self-esteem is the most predictable variable for subjective well-being, but self-concept clarity did not show any significant relation. However, the mental health index constructed with depression, anxiety and stress had a discriminative pattern. Regression controlled for self-esteem and demonstrated that the stability of self-esteem and self-concept clarity explain any incremental variances. The variances were higher than those of self-esteem in every criterion variable. Multiple regression also showed that the stability of self- esteem is the most accountable variable in predicting the mental health index, and that the variance of self-esteem was lower than that of self-concept clarity. Finally, a number of implications, limitations and suggestions for future research were discussed. 본 연구에서는 자기개념의 내용적 측면과 구조적 측면을 구분하고, 이를 대표하는 구성개념인 자존감, 자존감 안정성, 자기개념 명료성 간의 관계 및 이들 변인과 심리적 적응과의 관계를 탐색하였다. 이를 위해 자존감 척도(RSES), 자존감 안정성 척도(SSES), 자기개념 명료성 척도(SCCS)로 자기개념을 측정한 결과, 세 변인 간에는 서로 유의미한 상관이 나타났다. 이들 변인과 개인의 심리적 적응과의 관계를 탐색하기 위해 주관적 안녕감과 정신건강 지표를 준거변인으로 하여 위계적회귀분석과 다중회귀분석을 실시하였으며 주요 결과는 다음과 같았다. 먼저 주관적 안녕감의 경우, 자존감을 통제한 위계적회귀분석에서 자존감 안정성은 유의미한 증분 설명량을 보였으나, 자기개념 명료성은 증분 설명량을 나타내지 못했다. 다중회귀분석 결과 자존감은 주관적 안녕감을 예언하는 가장 중요한 변인으로 확인되었으며, 자기개념 명료성은 유의미하지 않았다. 하지만 우울, 불안, 스트레스로 구성된 정신건강 변인에서는 차별적인 패턴이 발견되었다. 자존감을 통제한 회귀분석에서 자존감 안정성, 자기개념 명료성 모두 증분 설명량을 보였으며, 우울, 불안, 스트레스 모두에서 자존감보다 설명량이 높은 것으로 확인되었다. 다중회귀분석 결과에서도 자존감 안정성이 정신건강 변인을 예언하는 가장 중요한 변인으로 나타났으며, 자존감의 설명력이 가장 낮았다. 마지막으로 본 연구결과에 대한 의의와 제한점, 그리고 추후 연구 방향에 대해 논의하였다.

There is no difference between income on self concept. The group of more income show positive perceived pleasure.Second, general self concept has most strong effects on perceived pleasure, perceived importance, perceived risk probobality. Social self concept has the most strong effects on perceived self expression. Social self concept has most strong effect on cognitive, active participation. General self concepts has most strong effect on emotinal participation. Perceived importance has most strong effect on cognitive, emotinal, active participation.Third, this result was exposed to the caused relationship among self concepts, involvement and degree of participation in leisure sports..

        요양병원 간호사의 전문직 자아개념, 셀프 리더십이 노인간호수행도에 미치는 영향

        Objectives: The objectives of this study were to elucidate the relationship between geriatric care hospital nurses` professional self-concept, self-leadership, and their geriatric nursing performance and to clarify factors that affect geriatric nursing performance. Methods: A questionnaire-based survey was conducted among 159 individuals working at 12 geriatric hospitals. To evaluate professional self-concept, Nurses` Self-Concept Instrument (NSCI) developed by Angel et al. were used. And, The data were collected from December 29, 2015 to January 30, 2016, and analyzed with descriptive statistics, t-test, and ANOVA, multiple regression conducted using SPSS 18.0. Scheffe test was utilized for post hoc tests. Results: The average score of professional self-concept was 6.02±0.84 out of 8 points, that of self-leadership was 3.69±0.44 out of 5 points, and that of geriatric nursing performance was 3.79±0.52 out of 5 points. Four subcategories of professional self-concept showed significant positive correlations with nine subcategories of geriatric nursing performance, with correlations ranging between 0.18 and 0.57. `Knowledge` subcategory of professional self-concept was the factor that would affect geriatric sleep quality care nursing most significantly (t=2.83, p=0.005), and that it additionally explained 30% of sleep quality care nursing performance after controlling for general characteristics. As for communication in nursing, `staff relation` of professional self-concept (t=2.21, p=0.029) and `rehearsal` subcategory of self-leadership (t=2.24, p=0.027) were significant factor, and 26% explaining change of communication in nursing. Conclusions: Influencing factors of geriatric nursing performance were participants` socio-demographic characteristics such as monthly income and number of beds, and the subcategories of professional self-concept and self-leadership. Based on the results of this study, interventions to improve nurses` professional self-concept and self-leadership should be needed for enhancing nursing performance in geriatric hospitals.
