        미디어 이용에 대한 리듬 분석

        이 글은 현대 사회에서 중심적인 역할을 하는 미디어에 대한 ‘과학적’인 리듬 분석을 통해 현대적 삶의 양식을 이해할 수 있는 토대를 제공하고자 하는 것이다. 리듬은 긴 요소와 짧은 요소, 그리고 강한 요소와 약한 요소의 반복으로, 미디어 리듬의 경우 개별 미디어 리듬의 수준, 그리고 여러 미디어 리듬으로 구성되는 리듬 앙상블 수준에서 분석할 수 있다. 이 글은 먼저 미디어 이용에 대한 선행 연구들을 리듬 분석의 관점에서 비판적으로 검토하고 리듬 및 리듬 분석에 대한 이론적 배경을 논의하였다. 그리고 이 글에서 새롭게 개발, 적용하고자 하는 세션분석 기법을 소개하였다. KISDI의 2013년 미디어패널조사 데이터를 계량적으로 분석한 연구 결과를 제시하고, 미디어 리듬이 내재적 속성인가, 그리고 미디어 리듬 분석이 사회적으로 어떤 함의를 가지는가라는 문제를 중심으로 분석 결과를 논의하였다. 마지막으로 시각중심주의를 극복하고자 미디어 이용 데이터에 대한 음향화를 시도하였다. This article attempts to provide the groundwork for understanding contemporary social life by taking a scientific rhythm analysis of media uses. A rhythm is "repetitions of long and short elements, and/or strong and weak element", and can be analyzed at the level of separate rhythm and rhythm ensemble. First, this article reviewed previous media uses researches in the perspective of rhythm analysis, and presented theoretical background related to rhythm and rhythm analysis. And then, it explained ‘session analysis" technique developed for and applied to this research. Using 2013 KISDI Media Panel Survey Data, this article took session analysis, and discussed research findings and social implications of rhythm analysis. Finally, this research tried to perform a sonification of media uses data, for the purpose of overcoming ocular-centrism.

        The Storytelling Rhythms of Chinese and Korean Films

        In literature it is not only the meaning of words which matters, but also their texture matters i.e. their rhythm, colour and style are relevant and none of these natures can be reduced to an item of information. The texture is also important in film languages, especially the rhythm. In order to make the storytelling rhythm visible, a new concept of ‘the Rhythm Chart Analysis Method (RCAM)’ has been devised in this research and used for analysis. By analyzing original films and remakes in Korean and Chinese, one can find out that different countries have different storytelling rhythms i.e. the same story can be told in different rhythms. The central idea in Korean films is portrayed at the end, which is a typical characteristic of Korean films. And as the defining moment does not occur suddenly the audience can naturally get immersed into the story. But Chinese films communicate with the audience in a more direct way. It directly mentions characteristics of each actor in such a way that it is telling rather than showing. The information of the movie is given to the audience in the initial stages of the movie. Rhythm is as important as story and information. And through this we can find out the cultural differences from the different storytelling rhythms.

        리듬분석을 통해서 바라본 대학생 일상에서의 경력개발에 관한 연구

        The success of employment policy is a integrative recognition through diverse analysis methods and theoretical frames. In this context, this study was done basic research for policy plan in college students. Concretely, this study’s purpose is to understand college student’s career development process, by using a ethnography and rhythm analysis theory. Rhythm is a kind of result of repeatedly interaction on certain space. The performers occasionally have been subordinated by rhythm but they could be able to make a new rhythm through interaction each other. So, rhythm theory could provide integrative perspective about particular phenomenon. Research findings are as below. First, in aspect on the space, learning space of college student have changed from traditional learning space lecture room to cafe. Second, in aspect on the time, they are spending to study about spec not a major field of study. Third, career development ‘s rhythm is simplified than the past. Because they have faced the social press so, they could not participate diverse activities, experiences. Consequently, their career development types deduct inertia rhythm, regulation rhythm, zero rhythm. In order to the identity of the university as a traditional educational space has been weaking by another learning space cafe. So, we have to deal with to understand multifaceted way college student’s career development and to support their career development.

        앙리 르페브르의 공간이론에 관한 연구 - ‘공간의 생산’, ‘리듬분석’을 활용한 공동주택 공간분석 -

        To gain a new understanding of space closely related to daily life, this study comprehensively examines Lefebvres space theory of everyday life and rhythm analysis to arrive at an analysis of a specific space. Prior to this, the core concepts of Lefebvres thought, such as daily life, space production, and rhythm analysis were derived from conceptual arrangement and holistic thinking that was used in the concrete spatial analysis. The derived concepts of Torre David and Quinta Monroy were analyzed, which are examples of apartment houses with a uniform structure and other discriminatory spaces buried in rationality and economy. The reason for limiting the subject was to examine the possibility of producing Lefebvres difference space and harmonious rhythm. Spatial analysis was conducted through the method of ternary dialectic developed by Lefebvre that adopted Hegel-Marxs dialectic. As a result of this analysis, it was confirmed that the spatial practice characterized by repetition and the normalization of a residents daily life produced a space that was different from the form of space produced in an abstract space through interaction with the representation space. In addition, the rhythm analysis confirmed that the space that can contain active body movements was activated and produced a harmonious rhythm. The production of harmonious rhythm was possible when the users various rhythms were captured through the harmony of temporality and spatiality.

        Optimization of Analysis of Circadian Rest-Activity Rhythm Using Cosinor Analysis in Mice

        Objective Data processing in analysis of circadian rhythm was performed in various ways. However, there was a lack of evidence for the optimal analysis of circadian rest-activity rhythm. Therefore, we aimed to perform mathematical simulations of data processing to investigate proper evidence for the optimal analysis of circadian rest-activity rhythm.Methods Locomotor activities of 20 ICR male mice were measured by infrared motion detectors. The data of locomotor activities was processed using data summation, data average, and data moving average methods for cosinor analysis. Circadian indices were estimated according to time block, respectively. Also, statistical F and p-values were calculated by zero-amplitude test.Results The data moving average result showed well-fitted cosine curves independent of data processing time. Meanwhile, the amplitude, MESOR, and acrophase were properly estimated within 800 seconds in data summation and data average methods.Conclusion These findings suggest that data moving average would be an optimal method for data processing in a cosinor analysis and data average within 800-second data processing time might be adaptable. The results of this study can be helpful to analyze circadian restactivity rhythms and integrate the results of the studies using different data processing methods.

        예비교사의 동아리 활동을 통해 본 교육대학의 문화탐구: 리듬분석적 접근

        The purpose of this study is to analyze Henri Lefebvre’s 'rhythm analysis' theory, which aims to provide a theoretical basis for pre-primary elementary school teachers' club activities. It is believed that Henri Lefebvre’s "Rhythm Analysis" theory will provide a module to understand not only the school organization but also the learner's personal culture as well as the learning culture and educational environment of the university. Therefore, this study can provide a theoretical basis for in-depth research on the experience of pre-primary elementary school teachers' club activities through discourse analysis based on qualitative research. Unlike general universities, clubs in universities of education can predict that the formation of emotional consensus and emotional rituals and timeliness that they have are permeated by regular patterns. This can be understood as the culture of the university of education, and it can lead to a change in anticipation of the negative and harmonious rhythms revealed at this time and to the rhythm that is resolved and virtuous. This dimension can be proposed as a theoretical analysis framework that can understand and interpret the diversity of organizational culture beyond individual culture, and can be provided as a driving force for more detailed follow-up research. In addition, the emotional, cognitive, and cultural aspects revealed in school culture can be interpreted as mental science, not natural science aspects, and it is expected to provide a foundation for theory and promote objective thinking. 본 연구는 앙리 르페브르의‘리듬분석’이론을 예비초등교사들의 동아리 활동경험을 분석하고자하는데 이론적 근거를 마련하는데 목적이 있다. 이는 앙리 르페브르의‘리듬분석’이론이 교육대학교의 학습문화와 교육환경에 대한 이해와 더불어 학교조직은 물론 학습자 개인문화를 이해하고자하는데 모듈을 제공할 것으로 여겨진다. 이에 본 연구는 질적 연구에 기반 한 담론분석으로 예비초등교사들의 동아리활동경험에 대한 심층연구에 이론적 근거를 마련할 수 있게 된다. 교육대학교에서 이루어지고 있는 동아리는 종합대학교와는 다르게 예비교사들에게 정서적인 공감대 형성과 그들만이 가지고 있는 감정의례와 시간성이 규칙적인 패턴으로 스며들어 있다는 점을 예측할 수 있다. 이는 교육대학교의 문화로 이해할 수 있으며 이때 드러나는 부정리듬과 조화리듬을 예상하고 해소와 선순환 되는 리듬으로 변화를 초래할 수 있다. 이러한 차원은 개인문화를 넘어 조직문화의 다양성을 이해하고 해석할 수 있는 이론적 분석 틀로 제안할 수 있으며 더욱 세밀한 후속연구에 원동력으로 제공될 수 있을 것이다. 또한 학교문화에서 드러나는 정서적, 인지적, 문화적 측면을 자연과학적인 측면이 아닌 정신과학으로 해석할 수 있는데 이론적 기반을 마련하고 객관적 사고를 촉진할 수 있는데 발판을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

        유아 교육용 율동동요 애플리케이션 평가 및 내용 분석 -등장인물, 음악, 율동 요소 분석 중심으로-

        본 연구의 목적은 스마트폰에서 사용하고 있는 유아 교육용 율동동요 애플리케이션을 조사하여 애플리케이션의 영역별 평가를 분석하고, 애플리케이션의 등장인물과 음악 요소 및 율동 요소를 분석하는 것이다. 분석대상은 2014년 4월 4주간 Google Play Store, T-Store의 교육, 유아 카테고리 유·무료 각각 100위 안에 포함된 율동동요 애플리케이션을 검색하여 그 중 애플리케이션 32곡을 선정하였다. 평가 준거로는 선행연구들을 참고하여, 연구자들이 유아의 발달적 특성을 고려하여 수정, 보완하였다. 그 결과 율동동요 애플리케이션의 평가영역별 분석에서는 기술성이 가장 높은 점수를 받았으며, 교육 성이 가장 낮은 점수를 보였다. 등장인물에서는 애니메이션 캐릭터 중 사람 형태의 애니메이션 캐릭터가 가장 많이 나타났다. 음악요소로는 길이는 12∼16마디, 조성은 장조, 음역은 최대 음역이 가장 많이 나타났으며, 율동요소로는 동작 간 균형 유지, 단독활동이 가장 많이 나타났다. The aim of this study is to analyze applications evaluation and contents(character, music & movement elements) analysis of rhythm-song applications on Smart-Phone for young children. For this purpose, 32 rhythm-song applications were collected from the ones ranked within 100 rhythm-song applications in the educational applications of Google Play Store, T-Store on the 4th week of April, 2014. The classification criteria were developed based on the previous studies. Results showed that 1) Technology elements showed the highest score in the applications evaluation and Education elements showed the lowest score. 2) Animation Characters showed more often than the other characters. 3) 12∼16 bars(Length), the major key(Tonality) and the maximum range(Compass) in the music element showed more. Also, maintaining the balance between actions and the individual activity showed more in the movement elements.

        Homogeneity Analysis for the SMR Brainwave by the Functional Lateralization of the Brain Based on the Science Learning Methods

        The purpose of this research was to determine the effects of the functional lateralization of the brain variables related to the sex, the scientific attitude and the scientific exploration skills. The science instruction is divided in each type of the lecturing class with the experiment class. As for the degree of SMR brainwave activation in each stage are presented while accumulating the brain waves from the right, left and the whole brain waves are analyzed during the science learning activities. It is therefore reasonable to consider the science instruction types and brain lateralization to enhance the science learning effectiveness. Sensorimotor rhythm brainwave as the low Beta is represented well to show the thought process. Category quantification scores and objective scores are calculated to show the visual positioning map for the relationships of the categories by homogeneity analysis.

        1990년대 한국영화 속 도시 리듬분석 - 일상성을 중심으로

        This paper focused on three Korean New Wave, The Road to Race Track, Their Last Love Affair, and The Day A Pig Fell into the Well, which was evaluated as a unique and innovative works among the main trend of melodrama genre in 1990s. In 1990s, Korean New Wave brought about democracy and it was quite similar political situation with the age of “the candle revolution in 2017”. In this paper, I will look into three aspects – character, character’s behaviour, structure – through the rhythm-analysis. The rhythm-analysis was suggested to understand everyday-ness of the city. I defined “the rhythm” as a vital signal of living things and as a different viewpoint on the urban lives. Analyzing three films with rhythm, the paper explain the connection of the daily life to today.
