일본 고등학교 지리교과서에 나타난 한국 관련 담론 분석

본 연구는 일본 고등학교 지리역사과 학습지도요령과 지리 교과서를 대상으로 하여 한국 관련 내용의 선정 근거 및 서술의 특징을 분석한 것이다. 학습지도요령에서는 두 세 개의‘근린제국(이웃국가)’을 선정하여 그들의 생활ㆍ문화를 일본과 비교하여 유사성과 차이를 이해ㆍ존중할 수 있도록 하고 있다. 근린제국과 관련한 지역학습이 생활ㆍ문화에 초점을 둠으로써 자연환경 내용은 이들에 영향을 주는 요인으로서 일부 다루어지고 있을 뿐이다. 독도는 대부분 분쟁 가능 지역으로 기술하고 있지만, 일부 교과서에는 시마네현의 영토로 명기하거나, 지도상에 일본의 영토로 표기 한 사례도 있다. 한국의 독특한 생활ㆍ문화로는 문자로서 한글, 사상으로서 유교, 종교로서 불교와 기독교, 의식주로서 한복, 쌀과 국, 불고기와 가위, 숟가락과 젓가락, 온돌 등에 대해 삽화를 곁들여 자세하게 기술하고 있다. 그리고 한일 교류와 관련하여서는 정치ㆍ경제적 교류보다는 최근에 활발하게 이루어지고 있는 예술과 스포츠분야 교류에 초점을 두고 있다. 이와 같이 일본의 지리 교과서는 주로 생활과 문화에 초점을 둠으로써 인간이 중심이 된 지리를 실현하고 있을 뿐만 아니라, 사례 지역과 일본과의 상호 비교를 통한 유사성과 차이에 초점을 둠으로써 지식과 이해의 성장뿐만 아니라 이타심과 공감적 이해의 발달을 가능하게 하고 있다. 이는 세계화 및 다문화 시대에 요구되는 대안적인 지역학습의 사례를 보여주고 있다고 할 수 있다. This study is to analyze the base of selection and feature of description on Korea-related content in Japanese curriculum(geography and history) and high-school geography textbooks. Japanese curriculum requires that there are two or three neighbor countries to be selected and their contents consist of life and culture and have to compare with those of japan in view of understanding and respect on similarity and difference. The content of physical environment is only dealt as factors influencing on life and culture because regional learning of neighbor countries focus on it. Dok-do is described with conflict region in most of textbooks. But some textbooks describe Dok-do with territory of Shimane-Hyun in Japan or devide like japanese territory on the map. There are described han-gul(Korean language), confucianism, buddhism and christianity, han-bok(Korean clothes), rice and soup, bulgogi(Korean meat dishes) and scissors, spoon and chopsticks, ondol(Korean floor heater), etc. with the cases of specific Korean life and culture. And, exchange between Korea and Japan focuses on more cultural view increasing recently than political and economical view. Then Japanese high-school geography textbooks humanize geography because of they focus on life and culture and promote not only knowledge and understanding but also altruism and empathy because they focus on similarity and difference through comparison between neighbor country and Japan. This shows how to able to practice regional learning in globalization and multicultural society.

청주시를 사례로 한 지역화 학습 자료 개발에 관한 연구 - 초등 사회과 지역화 교과서의 위상 변화 탐색을 기반으로 -

This study examines the changes in the meaning of localized learning and the status and characteristics of localized textbooks in elementary social studies. We explored the case where it was converted and drew the implications for the development of localized learning materials based on Cheongju-city area. In elementary social studies education, localized learning focuses on 'region', which is the main learning topic of geography education, and focuses on 'our region' according to the principles of environmental expansion law in grades 3 and 4 of elementary school. Geographically, localized learning is of great significance. However, 'localization textbooks', which were at the core of localization learning, have been changed in their status and character according to the flow of 'localization of curriculum' in the process of change of national curriculum for elementary social studies. An example of this is the process of replacing the textbook, “Chungcheongbuk-do, a good place to live” for the fourth grade student of elementary school in Chungbuk province, with the digital teaching and learning materials. Instead of the localized learning materials burdened by all students, and the materials are hard to be taught by teachers, it will be overwhelmingly possible to switch to a system that can be published and distributed the book with digital files Based on this series of changes in the context of Cheongju-city.

‘광주천 다리’를 활용한 초등학교 지역학습 교재개발 연구

본 연구는 초등교사가 광주광역시에 있는 광주천 다리를 소재로 하여 지역학습을 위한 교재를 제작한 사례를 제시하고자 한 것이다. 광주천의 다리는 오랫동안 광주 사람들과 함께해 온 광주의 문화경관이다. 광주천의 다리는 광주 사람들에게 교통 연결, 민간신앙, 안식처, 여가공간, 랜드마크 등의 기능을 하면서 오랫동안 광주 사람들과 함께 해왔다. 광주천 다리는 광주라는 지역을 다른 지역과 구별 짓는 특수성과 아울러 보편성을 인식시켜 줄 수 있다. 또한 광주천 다리는 지도학습, 설화학습, 환경문제학습 등을 적용시킬 수 있는 지역학습의 훌륭한 소재이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 초등학교 지리교육 과정을 분석하고 3, 4학년 단계에 적합한 교재를 제작하였다. 이때 초등학생들의 특성을 반영하여 ‘나’와 ‘광주천 다리’를 밀접하게 관련시키기 위해 내부자적 관점의 경관학습의 단계를 구안하고 한 차시의 수업안, 교재에 적용하였다. 본 연구는 실제 초등학생들에게 구안된 수업안, 교재를 적용해 보지 못한 한계점이 있으며, 또한 유관기관의 도움을 받아 충분한 자료를 확보하지 못한 점도 있으나, 처음으로 실시된 광주광역시 지역학습 교재의 개발이라는 의의를 지니고 있다. This study presents a case in which an elementary school teacher produced a textbook for local learning using the Gwangjucheon Bridge in Gwangju Metropolitan City. The bridge of Gwangjucheon Stream is a cultural landscape of Gwangju that has long been with the people of Gwangju for a long time. The bridge of Gwangjucheon Stream has long been with Gwangju people, serving as a connection, folk belief, shelter, leisure space, and landmark for Gwangju people. The Gwangjucheon Bridge can recognize the specificity and universality that distinguishes Gwangju from other regions. It is also an excellent material for local learning that can apply supervised learning, narrative learning, and environmental problem learning. Therefore, in this study, the geographic curriculum of elementary school was analyzed and textbooks suitable for the 3rd and 4th grade stages were produced. At this time, the stage of landscape learning from an insider perspective was devised and applied to a lesson plan and textbooks in order to closely relate 'I' and 'Gwangjucheon Bridge' by reflecting the characteristics of elementary school students. This study has a limitation in that it has not been able to apply class plans and textbooks designed for actual elementary school students. In addition, there is a point that sufficient data was not secured with the help of related agencies. However, it is meaningful that it is the first textbook for regional learning in Gwangju Metropolitan City.

지역화시대의 지역지리 교육내용 구성 방안연구

초등학교 지역지리학습교재 개발 사례 연구: 광주광역시 어등산의 한말의병운동을 중심으로

본 연구는 한 초등교사가 1년 동안 학생들을 대상으로 하는 지역지리학습교재를 개발하는 과정에서 겪는 어려움, 새롭게 알 게 된 점을 밝혀 보는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 광주광역시에 위치한 어등산 한말의병운동을 사례로 제시하였다. 본 연구 결과 오래된 지역의 사건에 대해서 자료를 보관하지 않아 자료수집이 어렵다는 것과 그것을 학생들 수준에 맞게 조직하는 것이 가장 어려웠다. 하지만 본 연구를 통해서 연구자 자신이 지역에서 일어난 사건에 대해서 자세히 알게 되었으며 이를 통해 항상 그 자리에 있었던 한 공간이 나에게 의미 있는 장소로 인식되었다. 또한 한편의 논문을 쓰는 과정을 통해 교사의 지리교육에 대한 전문성이 신장되었다. 본 연구는 초등교사들의 지리교육에 관한 실천적 지식을 지향하는 점에서 그 의의가 있다. 또한, 본 연구를 통해서 교육청, 학회 등에서 교사가 교재개발을 하기 위해서 어떤 지원을 해야 하는지에 대한 작은 실마리를 찾을 수 있을 것이다. The purpose of this study was to investigate and identify the difficulties of developing regional geography learning textbooks for elementary school students for a year faced by a teacher and relevant outcomes. To this end, the Righteous Army Movement during the late Joseon Dynasty at Mountain Eodeung in Gwangju Metropolitan City was presented as a case. The results showed that it was challenging to collect data on past regional events because of inadequate data storage and reorganization fit to the level of students. Despite such difficulties, the author learned more about the local events on the occasion of this research, and a place was considered as personally invaluable. Additionally, teacher expertise in geography education improved while writing a dissertation. This study is valuable in that it focused on practical knowledge on geography education attained by elementary school teachers. Last, the useful findings can facilitate how educational offices and academic society can support the development of textbooks mainly led by teachers.
