      • A Study on the Development of Multi Forming Type Progressive Die for Marine Part Material

        The production part requiring multiple processes such as piecing, blanking and notching are performed with a high production rates in progressive die. In order to prevent the defects of process result, the optimum of strip process layout design, die design, die making, and tryout with inspection etc. are needed According to these factors of die development process, they required theory and practice of metal working process and its phenomena, die structure, machining conditions for die making, die materials, heat treatment of die components, know-how and so on. In this study, we designed and analyzed die components also simulated the strip process layout of multiple stage drawing by DEFORM. Especially the result of tryout and its analysis become to the feature of this study.

        A Study on the Progressive Die Development of Sheet Metal Forming Part

        The production parts have required multiple processes such as drawing, piercing, blanking and notching etc. are performed with a high production rates in progressive die. In order to prevent the defects of process result, the optimization of strip process layout design, die design, die making, and tryout etc. are needed. According to these factors of die development process, it has been required that the theory and practice of metal working process and its phenomena, die structure, machining conditions for die making, die materials, heat treatment of die components, processing know-how and so on. In this study, we designed and analyzed die components through the carrying out of upper relevant matters also simulated the strip process layout of multiple stage drawing by DEFORM. Especially the result of tryout and its analysis became to the feature of this study with a system of PDDC(Progressive Die design by computer).

        Development of the Compound Die Forming Technology United between Semi-Progressive and Transfer Die

        To enhance the productivity and quality of the compound process of progressive dies and transfer dies, the semi-progressive method is applied in the material supply step to produce blanks, and then the transfer method is applied. Parts are transferred among processes by means of the finger and transfer bar in the transfer die, and the final seat cushion panel is produced. The main challenge in the current study is how to deform a seat cushion panel while meeting the design specifications without any defects. In order to obtain this technology, a sheet metal-forming simulation and die forming of the seat cushion panel were adopted; as a result, a compound die-forming technology for the automotive seat cushion panel, combining both semi-progressive die and transfer die for continuous production, was successfully developed.

        밴딩크랙방지를 위한 자동차 도어체크 마운트 브라켓 고속생산시스템 개발

        The anisotropy of sheet metal is important in bendability. The anisotropy in cold rolling sheets appears by the alignment of impurities, inclusions, and voids. The material ductility is reduced by this anisotropy. This anisotropy leads to cracks. Therefore, it is important to consider this anisotropy when designing progressive die. A automatic production system was developed for high productivity and safety. The conventional semi-progressive die is unfavorable for safety, material saving and high-speed production. By introducing two array type new progressive die for automobile door checker mount bracket, four times productivity more than conventional production methods is achieved. The press die parts solid modeling system is built by using Pro-Engineerⓡ through this research and verified allowable tolerance and possibility of assembly and disassembly of parts. Therefore, die manufacturing time and cost was reduced. The conventional die can produce 1000 products per hour, but new progressive die is able to produce 2000 an hour. The manufacturing cost curtailment effect is accomplished more than 40% in comparison with traditional method.

        Ez5의 스트립 레이아웃 설계에 관한 연구

        프로그레시브 노칭과 포밍금형에 있어서 박판성형해석에 의한 사전 분석은 제품을 양산하는데 꼭 거쳐야 하 는 필수과정이다. 본 논문에서 연구한 Ez5는 일본 S 자동차의 미국 현지 공장에서 발주한 수출 금형을 가지고 스트 립 레이아웃 설계에 관한 것을 연구한 것이다. 광폭 1열 1개 뽑기의 편측캐리어를 단 배열로 블랭크 레이아웃을 최적 화하여 13개 공정으로 된 스트립 레이아웃설계를 완성하였다. 이런 형태의 금형수주는 앞으로 동시 다발적이고, 매우 빈번히 인터넷 공간상에서 발생할 것이며 금형에 대한 기술력을 갖춘 업체는 이러한 방식에 대응할 준비를 갖추어야 할 것이다. For the progressive notching and forming die, analyzing beforehand according to the interpretation of thin plate molding for massive production is essential. In this study, we dealt with Ez5 particularly its strip layout design based on the exported die as ordered by Japanese S automobile company's local factory in the USA. We completed the strip layout design consisting of 13 processes by optimizing the blank layout with arrays of a single carrier with wide width drawn in 1 row. This type of die is expected to be ordered in bulk frequently and at the same time via the Internet; any company with die technology will be required to cope with such type of die.

        자동차용 비대칭 스트라이커의 순차이송금형 및 공정 개발에 관한 연구

        For high production rate of parts requiring multiple operations such as punching, blanking, or other operations are generally done with progressive dies. However, progressive die is generally limited to use for sheet metal forming due to the technical difficulties in rod or bulk material. This study proposes a new technique of progressive die and forming process for asymmetric automotive door striker, which is conventionally manufactured with separate tandem processes using solid rod. In order to design forming process and die, FEM simulation was performed to divide proper intermediate processes and analyze its formability. As a result, Forming processes were divided into 3 stages with upper and side punches and also, workpiece feeding and location mechanism was designed and manufactured in this study. Finally, forming tryouts were carried out by using the manufactured progressive die to verify the forming quality and productivity.

        8각 아웃렛 박스 제조용 금형 및 주변기기 개발

        본 논문은 8각 아웃렛 박스 제조용 수동 금형을 2벌의 금형으로 자동화한 것에 관한 연구이다. 8각 아웃렛 박스는 건축물의 전선관용 스위치 박스 또는 배선 연결용 박스이다. 이 박스를 제조 할 때는 제 l차 프레스에서 성형 하고 제 2-6차 프레스로 8각 아웃렛 박스의 4측면 가공과 벤딩을 하게 되므로 프레스 6대, 금형 6벌, 작업자 7명을 필요로 한다. 이 때문에 인건비 과다발생, 생산속도 저조, 불량률 10% 이상 발생, 제조원가 상승의 요인이 되고 있으며, 프레스의 굉음과 진동 및 안전사고의 위험 등으로 작업자들이 직무를 기피하고 있다. 이러한 현상을 없애기 위해 금형 5벌을 I벌의 금형에 통합시킨 캠금형 개발과 자동이송장치를 개발 하였다. 그 결과 프레스 2대와 금형 2별로 무인화 작업을 할 수 있게 되어 직무기피요인을 해소하게 되고 제조원가 절감효과를 얻게 되었다. This paper deals with the development of manually operated die used for the manufacture of octagonal boxes into two sets of automated die. In particular, theoctagonal boxes are used for the switch boxes intended for the cable conduit of buildings or for wiring connection. Manufacturing these boxes requires forming the materials using the primary press before they undergo 2nd through 6th processing by the press machine including the four sides of the octagonal outlet box and bending. Such complicated process hikes up labor cost, slows down production, and results in defect rate of 10% or higher; hence the overall rise in manufacturing cost. Moreover, workers avoid this type of work due to the roar and vibration coming from the press and the risk of accident. To eliminate such phenomenon, a CAM die made by integrating five sets of die into one set of die and an automatic conveyor system were developed. As a result, unmanned work was realized with only two units of press and two sets of die; thus solving the problem of work being avoided and saving on manufacturing cost.

        몰리에르의 『시칠리아 사람 또는 사랑이라는 화가』, 발레희극 장르의 최초의 걸작

        Ce qui retient notre attention par rapport au Sicilien, ou l'amour peintre de Molière, sa septième comédie-ballet, c'est qu'il y donne l'impression d'avoir produit une petite pièce de théâtre supplémentaire pour la fête royale de danse nommée Ballet des Muses, dans laquelle il a combiné l'amour galant des jeunes amants rehaussé par la musique et la danse, le personnage de comédie, obstacle à leur mariage et rival d'amour à la fois, et les procédés farcesques ainsi que déguisements du couple du jeune amant et de son valet, et l'enlèvement volontaire de la jeune amoureuse. On se demande alors comment il ménage la cohésion de genres entre ballet de cour et farce, et la progression comique menacée par le personnage comique de haute condition et enfoncé dans l'aveuglement sur soi. Il est intéressant de noter que l'emploi des vers blancs dans le texte comique parvient, dès la première séquence, à relier la comédie et l'entracte musical et balletique en termes de la fantaisie galante de façon que la musique dans l'entracte pastoral amplifie le rythme poétique dans les dialogues de théâtre en véhiculant l'amour du jeune protagoniste bloqué par la jalousie et la surveillance du tuteur auprès de la jeune première. Alors que l'amour possessif de Don Pèdre s'oppose à l'amour spontané prôné par Isidore héroïne dans le texte de comédie de la deuxième séquence, Isidore, au cours du spectacle de l' etracte de musque qui suit, assistent au contraste radical du caractère chez les deux rivaux d'amour devant elle, car Adraste fait chanter à Hali l'amour pure et passionné d'Adraste, victime du jaloux impérieux, et danser aux Esclaves turcs un ballet inspirant le lyrisme galant. Au début de la troisième séquence, on s'aperçoit que le dramaturge met les deux premières séquences pour se préparer à la progression dramatique fondée sur la peinture du caractère, et à l'emploi des ruses de tradition farcesque sous le signe de la fantaisie comique. Dom Pèdre se, enfin, fait un pauvre farceur de son propre aveuglement dans la mesure où il est, à son insu, amené à diriger la procédure de récociliation entre le mari mécontent en qui Adraste est déguisé, et la femme tourmentée par celui-là que joue Isidore. Le Sénateur retiens Dom Pèdre au cours du dernier entracte de ballet pour que celui-ci puisse soulager sa fureur et déception sous le charme de la musique et de la danse des Maures, tout en garantissant au couple des jeunes amants d'achever leur cérémonie de noces dans la bénédiction de tous. Molière parvient à combiner l'exploration plutôt brutal du personnage et un amour de vision galante en s'appuyant sur la collaboration artistique de la comédie, de la musique, et du ballet. Si Le Sicilien de Molière se juge à sa juste valeur en tant que première chef d'œuvre de ses comédies-ballets, c'est parce que cette comédie-ballet présente, à travers l'emploi créatif de la galanterie lyrique, une manière comique de sonder bien la nature.
