근·현대 한국유학의 현황 : 개화기 (1894-1910) 유학자들의 활동과 시대인식

The aim of this paper is to review the thoughts of Confucian intellectuals of early modem Korea, focusing on their contemporary world views. I put a stress on the their attitudes to the anti-feudalism and anti-imperialism, examining the way they put traditional knowledges to use. We can get a precise understanding of the Confucian scholars by searching the traits of schools which they belonged to and their own personality. Therefore, this paper reviewed their world views focusing on three types of social practices in six kinds of Confucian schools. I tried to reveal Confucian intellectuals` various attitudes to social changes and their various Confucian intellectual experiments.
과학 연극 수업이 과학 본성에 대한 초등학생의 인식에 미치는 영향

The importance of teaching the nature of science (NOS) has been always emphasized in science education. However, the NOS is hardly taught in elementary science class. We are lacking in the strategies and materials for teaching NOS. So we designed the science drama teaching, and investigated the effects on pupils' perceptions about NOS. The subjects of this study were 185 third graders from a elementary school. The treatment group was provided with science drama lessons and the control group was provided with traditional lecture-type lessons. Their perceptions about NOS were investigated before/after the science lessons and after 3 months following them, and both of two groups were compared. The pretest results revealed that the pupils of both groups were found to have similar views on NOS. Dey had traditional views of the most items except for social construction of theories, mathematical knowledge and decision-making. After science lessons, they tended to change their views toward modem views, but the pupils of the treatment group showed more modem views than those of the control group on the observation, model, social construction of theories, predictions. After 3 months, the pupils of the control group tended to come back to their traditional views, but those of the treatment group showed tendencies that their changed views were kept up on the observation, scientific model, scientific knowledge, scientific methods, decision-making, social construction of theories, mathematical knowledge. Therefore this study suggests that science drama teaching could be one of the effective ways for teaching NOS.

Nowadays interests to mind cultivating education is increasing. The reason why is that discontents to the modem education is rising. The modem education has contributed to the construction of the modem civilization. But it is not able to contribute to construct the post-modern civilization. Therefore, to design post-modem education that meets the call of this time is imminent. In this context, we discussed on mind cultivation education based on I-Ching The reason why we use I-Ching as the text is that there is much messages of the post-modem education in I-Ching The main points of this paper are the philosophy and the methods of mind cultivating education in I-Ching. The discussion on the philosophy of mind cultivating education is two. One is how we can transform the view of ourselves and world. The other is about the process of the existential change. The discussion on the methods of mind cultivating education is two. One is to manage complex ideas that is rising in our mind. The other is to manage mistakes.
김동리 문학에 있어서 자연의 의미 : 한국전 이전에 발표된 평론과 작품을 중심으로

A core object of this study on Kim Dong Ree's novels and critics is how to be revealed the postmodernity in his speciality. According to his theory of the literature, the reality of literature depends on the sincere descriptions of the objectivity involved writer's subjectivity. He insists that the ultimate object of pure literature is to seek the harmony between a rhythm of nature and a breathe of human. His realism is composed up three essential elements, nature, human, spirit. Those are existed on same levels and mixed. He said, the more mixed three elements in novel, the higher reality accomplished in literature. In his novels, like Moo-nye-do, Yueg-ma, Hwag-to-gi, Dal, Ba-wi, there are three types of nature. The first one is the natural things like a mountain or river. The second one is human nature like a passion. The third one is a destiny or fortuity of life. He gives attentions the shaman who are an incarnation compounded nature, passion, fatal. For example, 'mowha' in Moonye-do is an main character, is an exorcist who murders her only son that is a christian with knife, in ecstasy. Kim Dong Ree regards that kinds of behaviour as a coincidence of human nature, fate, spirit. And In that time, human being turns out the nature. His final aim of literary works is to make a nature off every things even human being. So the view of nature of Kim Dong Ree is located in the center of his view of human being and his view of literature. He considers human being is a part of nature. And He makes his character be removed reasoning power and will. There are not social lifes and a guilty conscience in his characters. In most of his novels published before Korean War, characters adapts to their fortune as determined by the Four Pillars. They thought that is their fate. That's the first point why the speciality of Kim Dong Ree's literature is located out of the modernity. He alternates a social life of human being with human nature and fate.

The trends of Confucianism research in China for recent 6 years is succession of 90s Confucianism research that is characteristics of healthy and wide progress. In the respect of scientific problems and its issue of controversy, it has been very important to treat ecological view of traditional Confucian, the relationship of global ethics and Confucian ethics, the religious characteristics of Confucianism and the contemporary philosophical meaning of ethical thoughts for recent years in learned circles of Chinese philosophy. These phenomena have reflected strong critical mind and social responsibility of the Chinese scholars. Also, in the respect of studies on special periods, studies on special schools in the Confucian, case research of Confucian scholar, Chujian in Guodian and the creative interpretation of Confucianism classics have been focused among the Chinese scholars, and its plentiful and good results have been published. Neo-Confucianism in Yuan dynasty,Wang Yangming`s followers, Confucianism in early Qing dynasty and modern Neo-Confucianism, there were not many research outputs in the past, have been spotlighted by young scholars and many works have been found in the recent years. Conclusively, the trends of Confucianism research of early 21C in China is to reveal the wishes of learned circles for the development and uplift of traditional Confucianism, and to show the growth of the Confucianism research.
