중앙아시아 고려말의 음운론적 변이 -구술발화 자료를 중심으로-

이 글은 고려말 구술발화 자료를 바탕으로 중앙아시아 고려말의 음운론적 변이에 대해 논의한 것이다. 육진 방언 기반 고려말의 공시적 음운 변이양상을 기술하고, 그러한 변이의 원인을 설명하는 과정에서 비육진 함북 방언 기반 고려말을 아울러 검토하였다. 육진 방언 기반 고려말 화자들의 발화에서는 다양한 ‘화자 내 변이’가 관찰되며, 상당히 큰 폭의 ‘화자 간 변이’ 또한 관찰된다. 이는 제보자들의 출생 시기 및 강제 이주 당시의 연령 차이, 제보자들의 출생지 및 성장지의 차이, 제보자들의 살아온 이력과 인적 교류망의 차이에 기인한다. 이 같은 중앙아시아 고려말은 다양한 방언이 혼합및 절충된 이주민 코이네의 성격을 띠나, 전형적인 이주민 코이네와는 다소차이를 보인다. This article discusses the phonological variation of Goryeomal in Central Asia based on narrative data. It describes the synchronic phonological variation of Yukjin dialect-based Goryeomal and explains the causes of such variation, while also considering non-Yukjin Hambuk dialect-based Goryeomal. We observe a wide range of intra-speaker variation in the utterances of speakers of Yukjin dialect-based Goryeomal, as well as a significant amount of inter-speaker variation. This is due to differences in the age of the informants at the time of birth and forced deportation, differences in the places of birth and upbringing of the informants, and differences in the life histories and social networks of the informants. As such, Goryeomal in Central Asia has the character of an immigrant koiné, mixed and compromised with various dialects, but is somewhat different from the typical immigrant koiné.
