        국내 원자력발전소 첨단 주제어실의 Crew Resource Management 교육훈련 효과 분석

        The objective of the study is to evaluate the effectiveness of Crew Resource Management (CRM) training program for operators in the Main Control Room (MCR) simulator of APR-1400 Nuclear Power Plant. The experiments were conducted for two different crews of operators performing six different emergency operating scenarios during four-week period. Each crew consisted of the five operators: senior reactor operator, safety technical advisor, reactor operator, turbine operator, and electric operator. All crews (Crew A and B) participated in the training program for the technical knowledge and skills which were required to operate the simulator of the MCR during the first week. To verify the effectiveness of the CRM training program; however, only Crew A was selected to attend the CRM training after the technical knowledge and skills training. The results of the experiments showed that the CRM training program improved the individual attitudes of Crew A significantly. Team skills of Crew A were found to be significantly better than those of Crew B. The CRM training did not have positive effects on enhancing the individual performance of Crew A; however, as compared to that of Crew B. Implication of these findings was discussed further in detail.

        가상현실(VR)을 활용한 객실승무원 안전훈련의 효과성 연구: VR 프레즌스의 매개효과를 중심으로

        가상현실(Virtual Reality, VR)은 실제 경험하기 어려운 위험한 환경의 안전교육훈련 분야에 있어 폭넓게 사용되고 있다. 본 연구는 항공기 기내 안전 업무를 수행하여야 하는 객실승무원의 안전훈련에 있어 VR을 활용한 기술이 훈련 효과성에 끼치는 영향을 VR 프레즌스(Presence)인 몰입감, 현실감, 상호작용성과 객실승무원의 훈련만족도, 안전행동을 통해 살펴보았다. 국내에서 유일하게 VR을 도입하여 안전훈련을 실시하고 있는 제주항공 객실승무원 183명을 대상으로 설문을 실시하여 분석한 결과, VR 안전훈련은 객실승무원의 훈련만족도와 안전행동에 유의미한 영향이 있었으며, 훈련만족도는 안전행동에 유의미한 영향이 있었다. VR 안전훈련과 훈련만족도의 관계와 VR 안전훈련과 안전행동의 관계에서 VR 프레즌스(몰입감, 현실감, 상호작용성)의 부분매개효과도 확인되었다. VR 기술을 활용한 안전훈련이 VR 프레즌스가 높을수록 훈련생들의 훈련만족도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고, 비행 근무 시 안전행동에도 긍정적인 영향을 미침을 확인할 수 있었다. 또한, 나이가 어린 객실승무원과 VR 안전훈련을 여러 번 경험한 객실승무원들에게 특히 효과적이었다. 국내 여객운송 항공사들은 객실승무원 안전훈련의 효과성을 높이기 위해 VR 안전훈련의 도입 운영을 검토할 필요가 있으며, 보다 다양한 상황을 바탕으로, VR 컨텐츠의 몰입감, 현실감, 상호작용성의 향상을 위한 VR 안전훈련 프로그램의 지속적인 개발이 필요하다. Virtual Reality (VR) is widely used in safety education and training for hazardous environments that are difficult to experience in real life. This study examines the impact of VR technology on the effectiveness of safety training for cabin crew who need to perform in-flight safety tasks with VR presence (flow, reality, and interactivity), training satisfaction, and safety behavior of cabin crew. A survey is conducted with 183 cabin crew members from Jeju Air, the only airline in Korea that has adopted VR for safety training. The analyses show that VR safety training has a significant impact on training satisfaction and safety behavior of cabin crew. Training satisfaction significantly influences safety behavior. The partial mediating effect of VR presence (flow, reality, and interactivity) is also confirmed in the relationship between VR safety training and training satisfaction, as well as in the relationship between VR safety training and safety behavior. It is confirmed that as VR presence increases VR-based safety training positively affects trainees’ training satisfaction and safety behavior during flights. Additionally, it is shown to be particularly effective for younger cabin crew members and those with multiple experiences of VR safety training. Domestic airlines need to review the introduction and operation of VR safety training to improve the effectiveness of cabin crew safety training. Continuous development of VR safety training programs is necessary, focusing on enhancing flow, reality, and interactivity based on various scenarios.

        승무원의 교육훈련환경이 교육몰입과 직무만족에 미치는 영향 - 항공사 상위클래스 승무원을 중심으로 -

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of the upper class education and training environment on education commitment and job satisfaction. The main purpose of this study was to improve the quality of service provided by airlines and to increase the satisfaction of the crew's job. This study was conducted with crew of A airline. the results are as follow. First, contents of education and training, characteristics of trainers, physical environment, support of the organization among the components of the training environment had positively impacts on educational commitment of the crews. Second, physical environment and support of the organization among education and training environment had relations with job satisfaction of the crews. However, contents of education and training, characteristics of trainers did not affect job satisfaction. Third, as a result of effects on the job satisfaction, educational commitment was positive for the job satisfaction of the crews. The purpose of this study is to identifying the characteristics of the flight attendants who wish to join the education for cabin crews who want to work at first and business class in flight and providing active support to the training environment are prepared to enhance educational commitment or job satisfaction. 본 연구는 항공사 상위클래스 교육훈련환경이 교육몰입과 직무만족에 미치는 영향을 규명하고자 실시하였으며, 항공사에서 제공하는 서비스의 질 향상과 승무원의 직무에 대한 만족도 높이는데 주된 목적을 가지고 있다. 이에 A항공사의 승무원을 대상으로 연구하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교육훈련환경이 승무원의 교육몰입에 미치는 영향에 대한 검증결과, 교육훈련환경의 구성요인 교육훈련내용, 강사의 특성, 물리적 환경, 조직의 지원은 교육몰입에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교육훈련환경이 승무원의 직무만족에 미치는 영향에 대한 검증결과, 교육훈련환경의 구성요인 중 물리적 환경과 조직의 지원은 승무원의 직무만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났고, 교육훈련내용과 강사의 특성은 직무만족에 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 교육몰입이 승무원의 직무만족에 미치는 영향에 대한 검증결과, 교육몰입은 승무원의 직무만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 항공사 상위클래스훈련에 입과 하는 승무원의 특성을 파악하고 교육훈련환경의 적극적인 지원은 교육몰입 또는 직무만족을 높이는 방안 마련이며, 이에 교육몰입과 직무만족에 가장 영향력이 있는 물리적 환경의 개선과 점검이 교육의 효과와 직무만족에 긍정적인 영향을 미칠 수 있을 것이다.

        항공사 승무원의 교육 훈련 효과성에 대한 메타연구

        The purpose of this study is to analyze the relationships among variables related to the training and training of airline crews by conducting meta-analysis based on a number of empirical studies related to the effects of training and training for airline crew. In order to achieve the above-mentioned objectives, collection of journal articles published in Korea was conducted by January 2019, and coding was performed with 54 subgroup statistics from 12 domestic journals. Meta-analysis was performed on the coded data through the CMA 3.0 program. The main results revealed in this study are as follows. First, the overall average effect size (Hedge's g) related to education and training of airline crews was 0.413, showing a result between small or medium effect sizes. Second, the effect size among the dependent variables of the study related to education and training of airline crews was in order of customer orientation, personal orientation, and organization orientation. Third, the result of analysis according to the type of training of airline crew showed that safety training was more effective than service training. Based on the results of the meta-analysis, the implications of the study were derived.

        연근해 선원을 위한 맞춤형 레이더 시뮬레이션 교육

        We conducted questionnaires for customized radar simulation training for coastal and offshore (CAO) crews about customized radar simulation training according to domestic and international guidelines. The survey results showed that more than 80% of the respondents were aboard CAO fishing vessels and domestic tugboats, and their embarkation career was more than 10 years, but they had relatively lower deck officer certificates less than six classes. Since the current training is organized for all deck officers and small vessel operators, it has a limitation in providing customized training for crews in the CAO fishing vessels. Therefore, the radar simulation training for CAO crews is needed to be separated from both international and domestic sailing vessels. While the training for international sailing vessels are conducted for 30 hours and 5 days according to the IMO model course, the training time for domestic sailing vessels can be reduced to 20 hours and 3 days by adjusting the radar plotting and simulation training time. In addition, since the age of trainees is currently most in 50s and 60s (more than 65.2%), it can be desirable to reduce the time for principle and theoretical education and to increase the time for practice-oriented training. In the simulation training, scenario needs to be constructed for realistic waters such as southern and western coasts of Korea, and training program also needs to be restructured with commercial radar and GPS plotters using newly developed small vessel models. For these, it is necessary to construct a radar simulator centered on CAO vessels. Even if the function is somewhat lower than the computer-based ARPA in the system configuration, it is desirable to use the real radar for an effective radar simulation training that can contribute to the collision casualty reduction.

        내항해운 산업의 선원 수요에 따른 양성 및 관리 방안

        본 연구는 내항해운 선원 인력의 부족 문제를 진단하고, 이를 해결하기 위한 선원 양성 및관리방안에 대하여 제시하고자 하였다. 우리나라 내항해운 업체에 대한 설문조사를 통해 내항해운 선원 인력에 대한 양적, 질적 측면의 수요를 파악하고, 선원 양성 및 관리상의 문제점을 진단하고, 이의 해결방안을 제시 하였다. 205개의 내항해운업체를 대상으로 선원 부족과 이에 대한 양적 수요와 선원의 요구조건 그리고 선원근무형태를 설문조사하여 인력 양성 및 관리상의 문제점을 도출하고, 이에 대한 해결방안을 제시하였다. 본 연구는 이러한 상황에서 내항해운 선원 수요와 양성 및 관리 방안에 관한 선행연구와 현황자료 그리고 산업체의 인력수요에 대한 실태조사를 통해 내항해운 산업계의 실제적인 선원 양성 및 관리 방안을 제시하였다는데 연구의 의의가 있다. Purpose : This study investigate the quantitative and qualitative demand for crew members in coastal shipping industry through the survey on coastal transportation companies and identifies the issues and resolutions in crew member training and management. This study diagnosed the issue of the lack of crew members by targeting 205 coastal transportation businesses. The lacking number of crew members was evident to have reduced the number of crew members per ship, which potentially leads to the issue of failure to supply proper number of crew members for coastal ship operation and management. Deficiency of crew members led to the failure of proper replacement and supplement of crew members. In order to resolve the issue of training and management of crew members in coastal transportation, first, it is vital to expand the labor force supply by providing coastal transportation education opportunities for the unemployed, the socially vulnerable, the poor, the North Korean defectors and foreign crew. Also, aid plans such as long-boarding pension payment, wage tax exemption, priority supply of national housing and special college admission process for the children of crew members should be provided to improve the appeal of coastal crew working conditions.

      • 열차승무원의 안전업무활동과 법적지위 향상에 대하여

        본 연구의 목적은 열차승무원의 업무를 법적으로 적용 확정하고 이를 위반 하였을 경우 법적제재를 적용하여 승무원의 안전관련 업무를 행함에 있어 열차의 안전운행과 직무의 안정성으로 인해 승무원의 업무범위, 승무원의 지위보장, 승무원의 업무 전문화를 하는데 기여하고자 한다. 이를 위해 현재 법적으로 승무원의 지위가 어떠한 상태인지를 검토해 보고, 2017년, 2018년 2년간 고속철도운행사인 코레일과 (주)에스알에서 발생한 민원을 연구 분석하여 문제점을 도출해 보고자 한다. 선행연구를 통하여 승무원의 처우, 승무원의 업무범위, 승무원의 안전관리자로서의 업무와 지위 및 현실적 한계, 유사업종 및 동종 업계의 승무원을 상호 비교분석 하였다. 이를 토대로 승무원이 안전관리자로서의 업무를 하지 못하게 되는 현실을 개선하고 자 한다. The purpose of this study is to contribute to the scope of the crew’s work, the position of the crew and the specialization of the crew’s work due to the safety operation of the trains and the stability of the duties of the crew by applying legal sanctions if the train crew’s work is confirmed and violated. To this end, we will examine the status of the crew legally and analyze civil petitions from Korail, a high-speed rail operator, and SR. for two years in 2017 and 2018 to find problems. Through a prior study, the crew members of the flight crew were treated, the scope of the crew’s work, their position and practical limitations as safety managers of the crew, and the crew of the business and their peer group were cross-examined. Based on this, the company seeks to improve the reality that flight attendants are not allowed to work as safety managers

        Flight Simulation Training Device Operating Standards for MPL Training Programs in South Korea

        The Multi-crew Pilot License (MPL) is a new pilot qualification introduced by ICAO to train co-pilots for transport aircraft based on efficient and stable competency to respond to changes in the operating environment and technology. ICAO and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) require a minimum flight of 240 hours for MPL qualification training, and allow the use of flight simulation training devices (FSTDs) for most of the training, specifying the performance requirements for FSTDs. As South Korea is also preparing for the operation of the MPL training program, it is essential to establish the operating standards for FSTDs required for MPL training. This study aims to identify the international standards for FSTDs related to MPL training, and to compare them with the current operating standards for FSTDs in South Korea for presenting a standard (draft) that can be used when introducing domestic MPL training programs in the future.

        This paper researches how cabin crews to be qualified to take care passenger`s safety and services through educational processes. The research will suggest its implications to train better-qualified crews analyzing correlation between satisfaction level of education and crew`s work capabilities. My research mainly deals with off-line education courses in which cabin crews participate after completing entry training. Satisfaction and needs of cabin crews with education were analyzed based on evaluation of various factors affecting the education courses. Depending on the analysis result above, it should be reminded satisfaction level on off-line education is one of the major factors which can contribute to a flight attendant`s work capability. Based on survey result, strategic implication to enhance the off-line education for crews are suggested by analyzing correlation between satisfaction and work capability.

        항공사 EBT 프로그램 모델 개발

        항공사에서는 보다 효과적인 교육훈련을 실시하고자 실무와 연계한 훈련 프로그램을 도입하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 항공사들은 항공 인력의 실무 역량 강화 및 안전 문화 증진을 위해 증거 기반 훈련(EBT)을 시행해 오고 있다. 항공사들은 효과적인 EBT 모델 개발을 위해 운항 데이터 및 사례 연구를 분석하여 항공 인력의 역량 및 실무 능력을 체계적으로 평가할 수 있다. 또한 승무원 자원 관리(CRM)와 같은 기술적 방법 및 인적 요인을 포함하는 전체적인 접근법을 적용하여 EBT 모델을 구성할 수 있다. EBT 도입으로 인해 항공사들은 조종사의 실무 업무에 대한 진단 및 피드백 시스템을 구축하게 되며 개인 맞춤형 교육을 제공할 수 있고 교육 성과를 거쳐 교육 효과를 검증하는 교육훈련 체계를 확립하게 된다. Airlines tried to introduce training programs in connection with practical work in order to provide more effective education and training. To this end, airlines have been conducting evidence-based training(EBT) to strengthen the practical capabilities of aviation personnel and enhance safety culture. Airlines can systematically evaluate the capabilities and practical capabilities of aviation personnel by analyzing operational data and case studies for effective EBT model development. In addition, EBT models can be constructed by applying technical methods such as crew resource management (CRM) and a holistic approach that includes human factors. Due to the introduction of EBT, airlines will establish diagnostic and feedback systems for pilots' practical work, provide personalized education, and establish an education and training system that verifies the effectiveness of education through educational outcomes.
