        A case of overseas, containers have been used as building materials for a long time and have been stabilized institutionally. Container house construction has been carried out in Korea, but most of them were temporary buildings, and there was a strong negative perception due to the poor appearance due to lack of maintenance and management. The aim of this study is to analyze the recent status of container houses, to identify trends, and to provide data that can be used for activation of container houses. Therefore, in this study, six container houses completed in the last three years were selected and the appearance image was analyzed. As a result, container houses are tried various exterior designs in harmony with the surrounding environment. By installing external finishing materials or arranging containers considering direction, they reduce the exposure of container exterior and make the house feel psychological image with appearance design like general houses.

      • 컨테이너 하우스의 내외장재 사용 경향에 관한 연구 -주거형 중심으로-

        Recently, in the 21st century, due to the growth of economy, the houses of big cities are exposed to environmental pollution causing a serious problem and a demand of improvement in quality of the residental area. Also, due to the 5 workday week starling from year 2003, the awareness of leisure is increasing, which brings the necessity of a simple and practical new wave of housing. Since container houses fulfill these demands the popularity of container houses are increasing. In this study we will look at the tendency of materials used in interior and exterior of the container houses built by 10 companies located in Seoul suburb and Kyung-gi Province. By comparison and analysis of material used in container houses, this study presents a amelioration of material used in containers houses. As a result, this study aims at improving the portable container house in economical, practical, and perpetual ways by a better selection of materials. So that the citizens of big cities can build a beautiful portable weekend house efficiently with less investment.

        컨테이너 하우스 외벽 구성 시스템 기술개발연구

        본 연구는 기존 조적조 주택의 주요 구조부에 컨터이너를 활용한 개발 방식 즉, 컨터이너 하우스의 계획, 설계, 시공 가능한 시스템 개발을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해, 스틸하우스의 구저 및 시공 방법 등을 분석하였으며 컨터이너 하우스의 외벽 구성 시스템에 대한 견본품 제작을 완성하였다. 이컨터이너 하우스 견본품을 토대로 두 개의 컨더이너 하우스 케이스 스터디에 적용하였고, 기존 조적조 주택 공법에 비하여 공사비 절감과 공기단축에 있어 현격한 효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 컨터이너하우스의 제작기술 개발 성공을 통해 스틸하우스 시장의 틈새 공략으로 기업체의 기술개발 및 투자방향을 제공하였다는데 의의가 있다. This paper aims at searching the attentiveness and method in planning. design and construction procedure of the container house system where container is used as core framework. For this. we try to produce researching fundamental materials for the construction performance and design standards of steel house. and finish the sample exterior wall system of the container house. By applying this sample system to the two case study of container housing construction. we find out that there are considerable efficiency of the cost saving and catch up schedule compared with existing brick housing construction system. This study is significant in that it shows future direction of technical development and investment on the prefabricate housing market through development of the prefabricated container housing system.

        해외 컨테이너 하우징의 계획 특성 연구

        In Korea, one person households are increasing but in short supply of small-scaled housing for them. The merits of containers such as short construction duration, simple construction, economical efficiency and easy recycling can satisfy the needs of affordable households. The purpose of this study is to propose the planning of “the small-scaled Container Housing” through the analysis by case studies. Other countries around the world already have a variety of container housing types. France made a tangible accomplishment which is a Student Housing called "Cite A Docks", which was made out of old shipping containers. It is composed of modular housing units satisfying the every needs of housing. However, container architecture in Korea is only used as temporary architecture or makeshift structures such as a warehouse, temporary residence and construction office until now. And there is lack of the research on container housings. Therefore in this study we will analyze abroad cases based on consideration on plans of Container Housing such as common space, the number of households, height, area and flexible space. As a result, this study will suggest the module system and various methods of units-combining. The result of this study will be valuable to those who are interested in commercialization of container housing. Furthermore, it will be the foundation of developing the planning of small-scaled Container Housing.

        사회인구학적 변화에 따른 도시형 생활주택의 잠재수요 특성 분석

        본 연구의 목적은 최근 현안으로 등장하고 있는 사회인구학적 변화에 대응하기 위해 도심지에 집중적으로 공급되어온 도시형 생활주택의 잠재 수요 특성을 분석하는데 있다. 단신 또는 2인 가구의 수가 급증하면서 이들을 위한 주택 수요가 높아지고 있으나 일반적으로 이들의 주택구입능력이 비교적 제한적임을 고려할 때 라이프 스타일에 적합하고 소규모이면서 저렴한 비용의 주택 공급이 필요하다. 실제 현재의 주택시장은 새로운 가구유형 등장에 따른 신규 소비자들의 주거욕구를 적절하게 수용하고 있지 못하고 있다. 도시형 생활주택의 잠재수요를 분석하기 위해 본 연구에서는 설문조사를 실시하였고 회수된 177부를 통계분석에 사용하였다. 사회인구학적 특성, 주택특성, 경제적 특성 그리고 도시형 생활주택에 대한 인지도와 입주의향 간의 분석을 실시한 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 조사대상자의 연령, 학력수준, 결혼여부, 자산규모에 따라 도시형 생활주택의 인지도와 입주의향에 차이가 있었다. 즉 학생이나 사회초년생들에게서 인지도가 높은 반면 청년층의 미혼 직장인들에게서 입주의사가 높았다. 둘째, 도시형 생활주택 실제 입주희망자들은 소규모 원룸형에 전세를 선호하였다. 셋째, 도시형 생활주택의 실제 입주여부는 경제적 요인에 결정되었다. 소득이나 자산과 같은 지불능력에 영향을 미치는 요인들이 현재의 주택시장에서 공급되고 있는 도시형 생활주택 거주의사에 주효한 것으로 나타났다. The purpose of this study is to assess potential demand for self-contained units of income-producing residential properties that have been intensively supplied in the past few years in response to the recent socio-demographic change. As a number of one- and two-person households grow and their housing affordability is relatively limited, the demand for small and affordable units with decent living remains high. It’s of importance to address the demands and wants of new increasing consumers that are met and satiated in housing market, which hasn’t been adequately reflected so far. Data were collected by utilizing a questionnaire survey, and 177 responses were used for statistical analyses. The analysis focused on the relationships between demographic characteristics and consumption of the self-contained units. The results of this research indicated that the consumption of self-contained units was affected by the age, educational level, asset holdings and marital status of respondents. It’s found that young working singles were willing to move into self-contained units while college students were aware of the new type of housing. Also, the decision to move in the housing was affected by the ability to pay. Despite the mismatch between the supply and demand of self-contained units that suit the increasing housing needs of new households, this study implies that the potential demand for the largely produced housing is necessarily analyzed in advance. While the housing was meant to alleviate severe housing shortage and tackle serious housing affordability for new emerging consumers in inner cities, the housing market has been ineffectively responding to the socio-demographic change in order to accommodate the group. Therefore, the current housing supply mechanism should look into the affordability of actual users.

        잎새버섯(Grifola frondosa) 원목재배 기술 개발

        This study was conducted to develop the log cultivation techniques of the maitake Grifola frondosa. We used two kinds of Grifola frondosa strains for this study. Fully incubated logs were buried into soil directly and were buried with soil inside of container box in 70% shaded vinyl house. In the vinyl house Yipsaeilho cultivar buried by the soil was delayed about 15days in harvest date compared with Dabak cultivar. Color of fruit body of Yipsaeilho cultivar was dark brown and that of Dabak cultivar was grayish brown. Yields of Yipsaeilho cultivar was 15-16 kg/m2, more than that of Dabak cultivar, 11-13 kg/m2. In the container box, Yipsaeilho cultivar buried by the soil was also delayed about 5days in harvest date compared with Dabak cultivar. Color of fruit body was similar to the result of vinyl house soil reclamation. But yields difference was not shown between two cultivars, 1.2-1.4 kg/box.

        The “Living in motion”, referring to ever moving fast life of modern society in 21st century, is created by “Space Transformation” that constantly evolves, moves and interacts in many different ways with us. We demand a place to work that has the kinetic architecture that is flexible, changeable and adaptable ta the enviroment, and mobile devices that is simple and lightweight to use. Therefore, my plan will explore the elements and characteristics of Kinetic Architecture, Container House and Mobile Space. After exploring, the design will follow using the new concept of mobile work place. My plan emphasizes research and development of creating the best mobile work place that are efficient and usable.

        서울 은평 뉴타운 1지구 조경설계

        The Seoul Housing Corporation pronounced an alternative design competition and a bidding for Eunpyeong New Town in December of 2004. At first many construction companies were interested in the first New Town Project. But at last a few companies had proposed the alternative design and construction cost. This project needed a conjunction of design ideas and technology know-hows. And the client wanted the brand power of construction company. Ultimately the Corporation hoped that the first New Town Project will end up with high quality successfully. This competition had started with the original construction drawings. Then it needed some alternative ideas and the lowest cost. There were two drawings of non changeable part and changeable part. Non changeable parts are structure like housing unit plan, underground parking lots. Changeable parts are outdoor layout, interior design and building facade. So we tried all ideas of landscape technology and design principles within limited guidelines. The author applied new technology like tilted rooftop greening and sustained container greening on high-rise apartment house. This green technology will be the first trial in Seoul and in the world as well. Daewoo Corporation have accumulated greening technology through the researches by national funding since 2002. Through this New Town Project the green technology will go forward step by step.

        주택시장지역 구획을 위한 공간 최적화 모형

        국지적 스케일에서 작동하는 주택시장의 공간성을 반영하는 개념 중 하나가 주택시장지역(housing market area, HMA)이다. 주택시장의 역동성을 분석하고 주택 수요와 공급에 대한 체계적인 계획 수립을 위한 틀을 제공하기 위해서는 먼저 HMA를 구획할 필요가 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 HMA 구획을 위한 혼합 정수 계획법(mixed integer programming, MIP) 형태의 공간 최적화 모형을 개발하는 것이다. HMA 구획을 위한 가장 중요한 기준은 HMA의 내적 응집력을 의미하는 자족성이다. 구획된 HMA 전체를 대상으로 평가되는 전역적 자족성을 목적함수 형태로, 개별 HMA 별로 평가되는 국지적 자족성을 제약조건 형태로 고려하였다. 서울시 구별 인구이동을 사례로 개발된 최적화 모형을 적용한 결과 2010년의 경우 공급-측면 및 수요-측면 자족도 수준이 0.70일 때 3개, 0.65일 때 4개의 HMA가 구획되었다. 휴리스틱 기법인 Intramax 결과와 비교한 결과 첫째, Intramax와는 달리 MIP 접근을 통하여 얻은 HMA는 계층적으로 조직되지 않았다. 둘째, Intramax 결과는 국지적인 해인데 반하여, MIP 결과는 전역적 최적해였다. 셋째, 전역적 자족도의 극대화가 반드시 모든 HMA에서 국지적 자족도의 향상을 가져오지는 않았다. 이러한 결과는 HMA의 구조를 보다 명확하게 이해하기 위해서는 MIP 접근이 필요하며, HMA 구획 방법론으로서 Intramax 접근이 분명한 한계를 갖는다는 것을 의미한다. Housing market area (HMA) is a concept to reflect the spatiality of housing markets which are locally operated. Delineating HMA is required in order to analyze the dynamics of housing markets and to establish systematic plans for supply and demand of houses. The purpose of this study is to develop a spatial optimization model for delineating HMA in terms of mixed integer programming (MIP). The most important criterion for delineating HMA is the self-containment which means the internal cohesion of HMA delimited. In the MIP model, global self-containment evaluated for all delineated HMAs is considered as an objective function and local self-containment for individual HMA is considered as constraints. The developed MIP model was applied to migration between GUs of Seoul. 3 HMAs were delineated when supply-side and demand-side self-containments are 0.70 and 4 HMAs when both values are 0.65. MIP results were compared with those of Intramax. Frist, in MIP approach, HMAs were not organized hierarchically in contrast to the results of Intramax. Second, while Intramax found local optima, MIP approach always found the global optima when feasible solutions exist. Third, maximizing the global self-containment does not guarantee the improvement of local self-containment in all HMAs. These findings demonstrate that MIP approach is necessary to more clearly understand the structure of HMAs and Intramax as a HMA delineation approach has a clear limitation.

        컨테이너하우스의 바닥과 벽면에 엑셀파이프 매설에 의한 벽면, 바닥, 공기, 온수의 온도분포 특성

        A study was conducted to significantly increase the heat transfer area by simultaneously burying the excel pipe in the floor and wall of a container house, thereby greatly reducing the initial heating time. In addition, a small hot water boiler suitable for the heating load of a small container house with a maximum area of 6 ㎡ was studied. A wall-mounted hot water boiler was developed as a result of the study. When a hot water boiler is installed outdoors for heating, heat radiation energy is lost in winter from the hot water boiler and hot water pipe due to the low temperature. We propose an approach through which the energy loss was greatly reduced and the temperature of hot water increased in proportion to the operating time. Moreover, as the mass flow rate of the hot water flowing inside the excel pipe increased, the temperature of the hot water decreased. The temperature of the wall and floor surfaces of the container house increased in proportion to the increase in the mass flow rate of hot water flowing inside the excel tube. Natural convection heat transfer was realized from the wall and floor surfaces of the container house, and the heat transfer area was increased by a factor of 3 with respect to heat transfer area limited to the floor by the existing hot water panel. As a result, the initial temperature increase rate was much higher because of the larger heat transfer area.
