        캡스톤 디자인을 활용한 패션 모델의 교과목 개발

        최근 사회적‧교육적 패러다임의 변화 속에 capstone design을 활용한 교육적 접근이 점진적으로 확대되고 있는 추세이다. Capstone design이 접목된 모델학과의 교과목 개발은 패션쇼 현장에서 패션모델로서의 실무 역량을 증진시켜 줌과 동시에 패션쇼와 관련된 다양한 분야에 대한 시야를 확장시켜준다는 측면에서 긍정적인 효과를 창출할 수 있다. 본 연구는 패션모델학과의 모델작품발표 교과목에 캡스톤 디자인 교수법을 적용한 교육 과정을 개발 및 그 성과를 제시하고, 교수자 측면에서 고려해야할 함의점을 제언하는데 목적이 있다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위한 연구 방법은 캡스톤 디자인 교수법과 모델작품발표 교과목에 관련된 이론적 연구 및 캡스톤 디자인이 반영된 모델작품발표 교과목의 과정을 안내하기 위한 모형개발연구를 병행하였다. 본 연구의 결과, capstone design을 접목한 모델작품발표 교과목에 대한 학습자들의 수업 수행 방식이나 과정 및 학습 성과에 대한 만족도는 매우 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 특히, 수업 수행 과정에 대해 매우 큰 만족감을 나타내는 것으로 파악되었다. Capstone design을 활용한 모델작품발표 교과목을 진행함에 있어 교수자의 측면에서 고려해야할 함의점으로, 패션과 관련된 심층적‧융합적인 관점에서의 교육에 대한 필요, 공간에 대한 시간적‧공간적 활용도의 개선, 다양한 분야의 전문가 및 산업체들간의 연계성에 대한 깊이 있는 고민과 산업체와 지속적인 교류와 협력을 통한 교육 범위의 확장이 필요하다고 판단된다. The educational approach using Capstone Design is gradually expanding with the change in social and educational paradigms. Course development utilizing the Capstone Design in models in the department of fashion can create a positive effect in that it enhances the practical capabilities of the fashion model and expands the perspective of various fields related to fashion shows. This study proved the educational efficacy by applying the Capstone Design to the model work presentation course and investigating the implications of the design from the instructor’s perspective. The research methods used to guide this course utilizing the Capstone Design were theatrical research and model development research. This study showed that learners’ satisfaction for this course combined with Capstone Design was very high, and students were very satisfied with the progress of the class. The instructor’s point of view in progressing this course showed the need for education from an in-depth and convergence perspective related to fashion, improvement of temporal and spatial utilization of space, concerns about establishing connections with experts and various industries, and expanding the scope of education through continuous exchanges and cooperation with industry.

        창의ㆍ융합적 문제해결 역량 증진을 위한 유아교육과 캡스톤 디자인 교수설계모형 개발

        The purpose of this study is to develop a capstone design instructional design model to enhance creativity and convergence problem-solving competency for students of the Department of Early Childhood Education. Capstone design instructional design model development for creativity and convergence problem-solving competency enhancement were carried out by applying the ADDIE development model process. To this end, literature analysis was conducted on early childhood education and capstone design. The needs of learners and educational experts were analyzed. The creative and convergence capstone design class model system was designed and developed. The lesson design model was applied to the capstone design class for the first semester of 2022 in Gyeonggi-do D University. Early childhood education and capstone design instructional design model was finally developed by applying student satisfaction and feedback from education experts in the evaluation stage. The main results of this study are learner analysis, educational environment analysis, teaching/learning model design and development, teaching/learning model application, learner satisfaction survey, and education expert evaluation. It contains the overall contents of the capstone design instructional design model process in the Department of Early Childhood Education. This capstone design instructional design model developed an early childhood education and capstone design instructional design model to enhance creative and convergence problem-solving capabilities so that the characteristics of capstone design, which started from the engineering department, are appropriately operated in the field of early childhood education. It is expected that this study will be helpful to instructors who plan and operate capstone design classes in the Early Childhood Education. 본 연구의 목적은 유아교육과 학생들을 위한 창의ㆍ융합적 문제해결 역량 증진을 위한 캡스톤 디자인 교수설계모형을 개발하는 것이다. 창의ㆍ융합적 문제해결 역량 증진을 위한 유아교육과 캡스톤 디자인 교수설계모형 개발은 ADDIE 개발모형과정을 적용하여 교수설계모형연구를 실시하였다. 이를 위해 유아교육과 캡스톤 디자인에 대해 문헌을 분석하고 학습자 및교육 전문가의 요구조사 분석 후 창의ㆍ융합적 캡스톤 디자인 수업모형체계를 설계 및 개발하였다. 이를 경기도 D대학 2022년 1학기 유아교육과 전공필수 캡스톤 디자인 수업의 적용하였다. 이후 평가단계에서 학생 만족도 및 교육 전문가의 피드백을 적용하여 창의ㆍ융합적 문제해결 역량 증진을 위한 유아교육과 캡스톤 디자인 교수설계모형이 최종적으로 개발되었다. 본 연구는 주요결과인 학습자 분석, 교육환경 분석, 교수학습모형 설계 및 개발, 교수학습모형 적용, 학습자 만족도 조사 및 교육전문가 평가 등 유아교육과의 캡스톤 디자인 교수설계모형 과정의 전반에 대한 내용을 포함하고 있다. 본 캡스톤 디자인 교수설계 모형은 공학계열로부터 출발한 캡스톤 디자인의 성격을 유아교육 영역에 적합하게 운영 할 수 있도록 창의ㆍ융합적 문제해결 역량 증진을 위한 유아교육과 캡스톤 디자인 교수설계 모형을 개발하였다는 데 연구의 의의가 있으며, 유아교육과의 캡스톤 디자인 수업을 계획 및 운영하는 교수자에게 도움이 될수 있을 것이라 기대한다.

      • Analysis of Capstone Design Education Effect of Foreign Language Specialized University Students

        Capstone is a dictionary meaning of stone pillars and capstones such as walls, capstone, superb view, and apex. Capstone design based on the dictionary meaning is the final stage of comprehensively completing the curriculum by applying all the knowledge learned in the university curriculum to present a single outcome. The purpose of this study is to propose a capstone design education method for students enrolled in foreign language specialized universities. Accordingly, university satisfaction according to the completion of the capstone design course was analyzed. As a result of the analysis, students who completed the capstone design course had higher college satisfaction than the students who did not complete the capstone design course. In addition, this study investigated the effect of capstone design for foreign language-specialized university students according to college, grade, and gender. As a result of the analysis, the effect of capstone design for foreign language-specialized university students differed according to college, grade, and gender.         PBL 기반 캡스톤 디자인을 활용한 패션디자인교육 - ICT 웨어러블 헬스케어 스마트패션디자인을 중심으로 -

        Background The background of the study began with the goal of deriving educational achievements under the theme of information and communications technology (ICT) Wearable Healthcare Smart Fashion Design to the curriculum using project-based learning (PBL) based capstone design. The goal of the study is to suggest a PBL-based capstone design practical training program that contributes to fostering designers with creativity, teamwork experience, and practical skills, and allows learners, professors, and industries to discover and research projects. Methods As a theoretical background, the concept, trend and education of Wearable Healthcare Smart Fashion Design, and PBL-based capstone design education were examined, and previous studies were reviewed. The study was conducted according to the third-year class of the Department of Textile Fashion Design at universities in the Seoul metropolitan area, research in 15 weeks in the second semester of 2021. ICT Wearable Healthcare Smart Fashion Design was selected as a research topic, and step-by-step theories and practices were processed and empirical verification was conducted through special lectures and mentoring programs Result The problem-based learning PBL-based capstone design curriculum was consist of five stages: Class introduction, Problem discover and define, Problem analysis and solving, Performance presentation, and Comprehensive organization & evaluation. The results were presented in the Performance presentation stage, and in the Comprehensive organization & evaluation stage, the learning results were synthetically summarized, evaluated and satisfaction & class reflection survey were implemented. Conclusion Learners in the research were encouraged to have integrated thinking and analysis ability, problem-solving skills, cooperative learning ability, practical ability, and reflection ability through PBL-based capstone design curriculum. In addition, the contents and training method of PBL-based capstone design proposed in the study are increasing in importance as it can provide basic data for the development of ICT Wearable Healthcare Smart Fashion Design.

        예비유아교사를 위한 캡스톤디자인 교과목 수업설계 방안 탐색

        Exploration of Capstone Design Subject Class Design Plansfor Pre-service Early Childhood TeachersDeahun Choi Abstract: The purpose of this study is to explore class design methods for capstone design subjects for pre-service early childhood teachers. A literature review was conducted to explore class design plans for capstone design subjects, and based on this, a demand analysis and class design plans were systematized through two expert interviews. In order to derive specific plans for capstone design class design, a draft of class design plan was prepared through the first interview in the form of a meeting with experts in the research subject, and the final class design plan was finalized by reflecting the experts' individual review opinions. The class design of capstone design subjects for pre-service early childhood teachers includes 1) team composition (building), 2) topic search and selection, 3) problem solving method, 4) teacher interaction, 5) solution method (design/production), Derivation of the final result 6) Class evaluation, of which 4) teacher interaction (role) can be excluded from the class design stage, but should not be excluded from the review of class design. It can be operated as an independent subject or integrated with existing subjects, or it can be applied as one of the existing class assignments and syllabus. In this case, 6) Class evaluation can be applied in various ways.         창의적 공학교육을 위한 캡스톤 디자인(Capstone Design) 교수활동지원모형 개발

        The purpose of this paper is to develop instructional activity support model for capstone design in order for improving creative engineering education. To do this, having extracted the core idea of capstone design, and elicited core learning activity process, and grasped core supportive factors according to each core learning activity process that elicited, an improved instructional design model for capstone design was then developed through formative evaluation with respect to the draft of the instructional system development model for capstone design. As to major research methods, case analysis, requirements analysis through interview, and formative evaluation by experts were employed, and then research studies were undertaken. The formative evaluation by experts was carried out for two hours in 2007, and the experts participated in the evaluation consisted of total 6 persons: two specialists of capstone design contents, two professionals in field works, and two expert instructional designers in education engineering. Interview results had been reflected in this research when developing final instructional design model for capstone design. The core learning activity process of the final instructional design model for caption design, which developed in this research, comprises following stages: ① Team building → ② Integrated meeting between industry and academy → ③ Analysis of tasks → ④ Clarification of tasks →⑤ Seeking solutions for issues → ⑥ Eliciting priority of solutions → ⑦ Designing solutions and construction → ⑧ Exhibiting outcomes and presentation →⑨ Gaining comprehensive insights Also, in the core learning activity process, supportive factors that support implementation of each step were presented having been categorized into facilitator (teacher, and professionals in field works), learner and tool, etc.

        영어수업에서의 캡스톤디자인 수업 모델

        The purpose of this study is (1) to present a model for Capstone design class in English education, and (2) to recognize students' performance and perceptions about Capstone design class in English education. The participants were senior students majoring in English education. The Capstone design class model was developed, applied, and evaluated after changing 'English-American Culture' subject to 'Capstone Design for English-American Culture Education.' In this study, the class design, performance procedures, derived topics, and examples of performance outcomes were presented. The classes were also evaluated through an understanding evaluation of English-American culture, task performance and final outcome evaluation, a descriptive satisfaction assessment of students, a lecture evaluation, and a teacher's self-reflection assessment. As the result, the average score of a class that applies Capstone design was higher than that of a class that does not apply the Capstone design. There were many positive opinions regarding the Capstone design class. In addition, the teacher's self-reflection indicated that students should be exposed to such design from the beginning. 본 연구는 지금까지 연구가 많이 이루어지지 않았던 사범계열이면서 인문사회분야인 영어교육에서의 (1)캡스톤디자인 수업 설계와 실제 운영의 예시를 제시하고 (2)캡스톤디자인 수업의 성과와 만족도를 포함한 학생들의 인식을 알아보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 대상은 영어교육과에 재학 중인 4학년 학생들이었고 영어교육과 전공수업인 ‘영미문화’ 교과목의 과목명을 ‘영미문화교육 캡스톤디자인’으로 변경 후 수업 모델을 개발, 적용, 성과를 확인하였다. 본 연구에서는 수업의 설계와 수행 절차, 도출된 주제, 수행 결과물의 예시 등을 제시하였고 영미문화 이해도 평가, 과제 수행 및 최종 결과물 평가, 학생들의 서술형 만족도 조사와 강의평가, 교사의 자기 성찰 평가도 수행하였다. 과제수행의 평가 결과 2017년과 2018년의 모든 팀이 비교적 높은 성취도를 보였다는 것을 알 수 있었고 영미문화 이해도의 경우, 캡스톤디자인을 적용하지 않고 강의와 학생들의 발표로 이루어진 수업과 캡스톤디자인을 적용한 수업에서 유의미한 차이가 없었다. 강의평가 점수의 경우는 캡스톤디자인을 영미문화 수업에 적용한 수업의 강의평가 점수가 높았다.

        메타포 분석을 활용한 전문대학 공학계열 학생의 캡스톤 디자인 인식 연구

        The purpose of this study is to analyze engineering students' perceptions of capstone design. To this end, a study was conducted to analyze the perception of capstone design using metaphor analysis on 162 engineering students at a community college in Jeonbuk Province. The analysis was conducted in four stages of metaphor analysis by modifying previous studies. As a result of the analysis, the perception of capstone design was categorized into two types: positive capstone design experience and negative capstone design experience. The positive experiences of capstone design were categorized as essential, challenge and growth, playground, connection, and compass, while the negative experiences of capstone design were categorized as embarrassment and fear, double-edged sword, and painful experience. This study is expected to provide information necessary as basic data when designing and operating a capstone design to enhance creative and practical capabilities in capstone design subjects at colleges in the future.

        캡스톤디자인 교과 운영을 위한 비교과 프로그램 개발 -목원대학교 섬유ㆍ패션디자인학과 비교과 프로그램 운영 사례-

        University education consists of general education courses and major courses. The capstone design course is a class for the senior level to nurture student capability to design comprehensively. In the Department of Textile and Fashion Design at Mokwon University, the two subjects are linked and operated as capstone design courses in the first and second semesters of the fourth year. The students of this subject solve the problems that arise in the industrial field while completing the capstone design course. As a result, the capstone design course is an advantageous subject for acquiring fashion experts' skills. However, there is a limit to gaining the ability to have as a fashion expert through the curriculum. Therefore, extracurricular activities are needed to overcome limitations. In this study, an example of a general education program that fashion majors can perform in completing a capstone design course is presented, and a plan to enhance the learning effect of the course is given. Mokwon University's LINC project team encouraged the development of capstone design-related extracurricular programs to support the operation of capstone design subjects and endorsed the program operation. This program was developed based on these results. Students who applied for and participated in this program evaluated that the program's process helped improve learning, acquire job skills, and search for and prepare for careers. The results of this study can be applied to various fields, and it is meaningful in that it can be linked to other subjects according to the characteristics of each school's department. 대학의 교육은 교과와 비교과로 이루어진다. 캡스톤디자인은 종합적 설계가 가능한 인재양성을 목적으로 하는 고학년 교과이다. 목원대학교 섬유ㆍ패션디자인학과에서는 4학년 1학기와 2학기에 두 교과를 연계하여 캡스톤디자인 교과로 운영하고 있다. 본 교과의 학습자는 캡스톤디자인 교과를 이수하는 과정에서 산업현장에서 발생하는 문제를 해결하게 된다. 결과적으로 패션전문가가 갖추어야 하는 능력을 습득하는데 캡스톤디자인은 매우 유용한 교과이다. 그러나 교과를 통해 패션전문가로서 갖추어야 하는 능력을 습득하는데 한계를 갖는다. 따라서 이를 보완하기 위한 비교과 활동이 요구되는데 본 연구에서는 패션전공자가 캡스톤디자인 교과를 이수하는 과정에서 수행할 수 있는 비교과 프로그램 사례를 제시함으로서 교과의 학습효과를 증진시킬 수 있는 방안을 제안하고자 하였다. 목원대학교 LINC 사업단에서는 캡스톤디자인 교과 운영을 지원하기 위하여 캡스톤디자인 연계형 비교과 프로그램 개발을 독려하고 프로그램 운영에 대하여 지원하였다. 본 프로그램은 이러한 결과에 의해 개발되었다. 본 프로그램을 신청하여 참가한 학생들은 프로그램 운영을 통해 학습효과 증진, 직무능력 습득, 진로탐색 및 준비에 도움이 되었다고 평가하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다양한 분야로의 적용이 가능하며, 각 학교의 학과 특성에 따라 타 교과와의 연계도 가능하다는 측면에서 의의 있는 결과라 생각한다.

        제품 및 금형 연계 창의 캡스톤 디자인 교육과정에 관한 연구

        The fourth industrial revolution calls for an integrated talent by improving working-level skills within the big framework of creativity and convergence. Therefore, university education focuses on solving the problem of practical ability education by improving employment ability. Based on this improvement in practical skills, this study is based on the field-based design curriculum of Capstone. Currently, the Capstone Design Course is being implemented at most universities, extending its scope to the fields of engineering, humanities, social studies and arts. However, there is a limit to the core concept of Capstone design education and capacity education developed in line with the foreign educational environment and applied directly to our nation's university education. In terms of overseas cases, the core focus is to develop practical, design, and prototype capabilities by forming a team among all grades and multidisciplinary institutions to support the capital and manpower of the industry. However, the nation's industrial linkage and curriculum have difficulties in carrying out multi-disciplinary education. In this study, students were asked to team up and solve the challenges that the industry needs based on the expertise acquired in the lower grade curriculum by applying majors and 3D printing through the first and second semester courses of the fourth grade to address these limitations. In addition, business skills for the process of creativity and leadership experience in our country through a suitable design capstone class to review the efficiency of education by applying a model. In order to achieve the purpose of Capstone design subject, the goal setting, class model composition, class model application, verification and evaluation, and final class model development procedures were carried out. Through this process, it will be used as a basic material for educating design class capstone design.
