        시각체제에 의한 주체의 이미지 표현에 관한 연구

        A visual system regulates 'way of seeing' of humans by relating to a social cultural context and constantly takes part in the contents and images of the subject consisted by the visual system. The following manuscript is purposed to study about the meaning structure of the image and the subject which is carried and consisted by recent post modern visual system going after from a command of perspective visual system. The configuration of a discussion will firstly propose starting from the visual system to subject and analysis of image. Visual system is consisted of Perspective visual system. Modern visual system. Post modern visual system, and after going through. Transcendental subject decentering subject. decentralized subject regarding the subject, analysis of image is consisted of works of Velàzquez, Manet, Cindy Sherman. This study will let you know that our visual experience is not intuitive but the output of our system of society or negotiations with people. If you understand meaning structure of perspective visual system, I think that it will be also possible for you to understand that the routine life is managed under an absolute influence of drastically increasing perspective visual medium. This understanding will soon be followed by our self examination as main people of this era. 시각체제는 사회문화적인 맥락과 연계하며 인간의 ‘보는 방식(way of seeing)’을 규정 하면서 그 시각체제에 의해 구성되는 주체의 내용과 이미지에도 지속적으로 관여한다. 이에 본고에서는 원근법으로부터 최근의 포스트모던적 시각체제를 매개로 하여 구성되는 주체와 그 이미지의 의미구조에 관하여 연구함을 목적으로 한다. 논의의 구성은 우선 시각체제로부터 시작하여 주체 그리고 이미지 분석의 순으로 나아갈 것이다. 시각체제는, 원근법적 시각체제, 모더니즘적 시각체제, 포스트모던적 시각체제로 구성하며 이어서 주체에 관하여, 초월적 주체, 탈중심적 주체, 탈주체에 관하여 살핀 후 이미지는 벨라스케스, 마네, 신디 셔먼의 작품에 표상된 주체분석으로 구성된다. 이상의 연구는 우리의 시각적 경험이 선험적인 것이 아니라 우리 사회의 체제 혹은 타자들과의 교섭의 결과임을 알게 할 것이다. 예컨대 본고에서 분석하는 지속적인 중심축으로써 원근법적 시각체제의 의미구조에 관해 이해한다면 폭증하는 원근법적 시각매체의 절대적 영향 아래 일상생활이 영위되고 정체성이 형성되는 우리의 문화적 환경에 대한 이해 역시 가능할 것으로 생각하며 이와 같은 이해는 곧 이 시대의 주체로서 우리 자신에 대한 성찰로 이어질 것이다.

        ISVS: 대화형 스트리밍 데이터 시각화 시스템

        Recently, there have been many studies on real-time processing and the visualization of a large stream data. However, in the existing studies, the changes which occurred in the input stream structure, in the data to be visualized, and in the processing methods, can not be reflected in visualization in real time. In this paper, we propose an Interactive Streaming Data Visualization System, ISVS, which provides visualization capabilities of streaming data covering collection and processing capabilities of visualized data. ISVS makes it easy for users to interactively express various visualization-relevant requirements of modulating input stream structures, filtering streams to be visualized, creating and modifying visualization functions. ISVS reflects them in real time. In addition, this paper presents the implementation of ISVS using the distributed streaming system. We show that it is capable of providing various real-time visualization processing by applying it to a stereo sound technology based video streaming service. 최근, 대량의 스트림 데이터에 대한 실시간 처리와 그 결과의 시각화에 관한 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 그러나기존 연구는 입력 스트림 구조의 변경이나, 시각화할 데이터와 그 처리방식의 변경 등을 실시간으로 시각화에 반영하지 못하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 스트림 데이터의 시각화 기능과 시각화를 위한 데이터의 수집 및 처리 기능을 통합적으로 제공하는 대화형 스트림 시각화 시스템, ISVS(Interactive Streaming Data Visualization System) 를 제안한다. ISVS는 입력 스트림 구조 변경, 시각화할 스트림의 필터링, 시각화 함수의 생성, 수정 등 시각화에관련된 다양한 요구사항을 사용자가 쉽게 대화식으로 표현하고 이를 실시간으로 시각화에 반영할 수 있도록 한 시스템이다. 또한, 본 논문에서는 분산 스트리밍 시스템을 이용한 ISVS 시스템의 구현과 이 시스템을 입체음향 기술 기반의 동영상 스트리밍 서비스에 적용하여 실시간으로 다양한 시각화 처리가 가능함을 보였다.

        Evaluation of a real-time visualization system for scaling detection during DCMD, and its correlation with wetting

        <P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>A visualization system was designed for a real-time observation of scales during direct contact membrane distillation (DCMD). The system was composed of a MD module, a camera and light sources. Firstly, visibility of the scales with the system and correlation between detected spots and wetting were assessed during the MD process using a polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) 0.45 μm membrane. The white spots were observed in the captured images from the visualization system and got broader with the electrical conductivity (EC) increase in permeate. It was verified that the spots indicated the pores blocked by the CaSO<SUB>4</SUB> scales. The wetting occurred through the white spots if the pressure was applied. Therefore, the high wetting potential area could be identified with the suggested visualization system during the MD operation in real-time. The visualization system was applied to the MD process under different permeate temperatures (20 and 55 °C).         중국 해남성 중요촌(中廖村) 지역의 시지각적측면에서 바라본 사인시스템에 관한 연구

        본 논문은 시지각의 전경-배경 관계(Figure-ground Relationship) 이론을 활용하여 ‘중요촌(中廖村, Zhongliao Village) 사인시스템 디자인의 시각 구성 형식을 분석함으로써 전경-배경 관계 관련 법칙이 중요촌 사인시스템 디자인에 활용된 방식을 정리한다. 먼저 마을 사인시스템에 대한 이론적 고찰을 통해 연구 목표를 확정하고 시지각 이론의 관점에서 사인시스템 디자인에 참고적 의의를 지닌 내용을 정리함으로써 전경-배경 관계 이론관련 개념을 분석한다. 시지각 전경-배경 관계 이론 및 관련 법칙을 중요촌 사인시스템 디자인에 활용하여 그 형태와 색채, 재질, 형체 요소에 대한 통합성, 연속성, 식별 가능한 시지각 분석을 실시한다. 본 연구를 통해 시지각 전경-배경 관계 이론의 ‘도형과 배경’ 법칙과 게슈탈트 법칙을 활용하여 사인시스템 디자인의 시각적 요소를 포괄적으로 분석하고 파악함으로써 마을의 전체적인 모습을 개선할 수 있음을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 시지각 이론은 마을 사인시스템 디자인을 위한 과학적이고 객관적인 방법으로서 시각적 측면의 통합성, 연속성, 식별 가능성 문제해결을 위한 효과적이고 타당한 분석 도구와 디자인 개선 방법을 제공하고 마을 사인시스템 디자인을 위한 새로운 시사점이 제공할 수 있다. This article attempts to analyze the visual composition of Zhong Liao Village’s sign design using the theory of visual perception of the Figure-ground relationship, and summarizes the application and expansion of the relevant rules of the Figure-ground relationship in Zhong Liao Village’s sign design. First, conduct a theoretical investigation of the rural sign system, determine the research objectives, and then sort out the guiding content of the sign system design from the theory of visual knowledge, and analyze the related concepts of the relationship between the figure and the ground. Then apply the theory of visual perception Figure-ground relationship and its related laws to the design case of Zhongliao Village's sign system, and analyze its shape, color, material, and body elements with integrity, continuity and recognizable visual perception. The study found that through the application of the "Figure-ground" rule and the Gestalt organization rule of the visual perception Figure-ground relationship theory, the visual elements of the sign system design can be comprehensively analyzed and designed to control, which is beneficial to improve the overall style of the countryside. Therefore, the visual knowledge theory is a relatively scientific and objective method in the design of rural sign systems. It provides effective and feasible analysis tools and transformation design methods for solving the problems of visual integrity, continuity and recognizability. The design of rural sign system puts forward a new idea.

        전력시스템 해석과 교육을 위한 정보시각화 프로그램 개발 - Part II: 전력계통 해석 기능

        As modern power system has grown rapidly and becomes complex, it is no longer possible to operate and develop the power systems without the help of a computer. By solving the computational problems required for planning, design and operation of the power system using a computer, it is possible to increase the quality of power system analysis, improve the efficiency of the power system operation, and increase the reliability of the power system. EMS (energy management system) includes many power system analysis applications, such as state estimation, power flow, stability analysis, fault analysis, economic dispatch and contingency analysis, which can analyze information for monitoring and control of the power system. In case of state estimation and power flow, their role is very important as application programs that are the basis of power system analysis. Commercial tools for power system analysis provide various visualization techniques for the expression of power system information and applications for grid analysis, but they do not usually include state estimation function as a basic application for power system analysis performed in a real-time environment. In addition, the cost of purchasing and maintaining commercial tools is very expensive. Therefore, it is necessary to use an educational application program that can be easily accessed and used by a user using computer in the educational stage for power system analysis. In this paper, we develop and introduce a program for power system analysis and education with information visualization function.

        로봇의 시각시스템을 위한 물체의 거리 및 크기측정 알고리즘 개발

        This paper looks at the development of the visual system of robots, and the development of image processing algorism to measure the size of an object and the distance from robot to an object for the visual system. Robots usually get the visual systems with a camera for measuring the size of an object and the distance to an object. The visual systems are accurately impossible the size and distance in case of that the locations of the systems is changed and the objects are not on the ground. Thus, in this paper, we developed robot’s visual system to measure the size of an object and the distance to an object using two cameras and two-degree robot mechanism. And, we developed the image processing algorism to measure the size of an object and the distance from robot to an object for the visual system, and finally, carried out the characteristics test of the developed visual system. As a result, it is thought that the developed system could accurately measure the size of an object and the distance to an object.

      • The Mobile Visual Search Guiding System Based on SIFT

        In order to provide personal guiding service to visitors in the Picture Gallery, a mobile visual search guiding system based on SIFT(Scale Invariant Feature Transform) is proposed in this paper. The visitors can achieve the paintings’ information using the camera function of the mobile phones when they enjoy the famous paintings in the Picture Gallery. The mobile search visual system proposed in this paper can identify the paintings in the server side so there are no extra performance requirements for the mobile phones. Firstly, the mobile visual search system was introduced. Then the system was designed and realized. The classification training was based on SVM (Support Vector Machine). The SIFT feature extraction algorithm was used to enhance the recognition rate. After the image retrieval, the geometric consistency check was employed to choose the best matching image. Finally, the experimental results verified the feasibility and practicability of this system. Compared with the present guiding systems, this system can communicate with the visitors conveniently and offer abundant and all-around information to the visitors. In addition, using this guiding system, any auxiliary devices are not needed to be installed in the Picture Gallery.

        할리우드 영상산업 제작시스템의 역사적 변천 연구

        This research dwells on the analysis of visual content production system. Hollywood case let us know the effective and sophisticated content production system. So called 〈studio model〉 is consisted of proper combination of creators, producers, distributors and so on. Specialized production manager of big studio take charge of whole content production system to maintain very sustainable and successful business activity in Hollywood. This study also found the 〈studio model〉 has been evolved historically and now the model is located in it’s third generation, 〈studio model 3.0〉. The current production system, 〈studio model 3.0〉 is now confronting with many challenges out of new technology and new behavior of customer. As a result, new type of production system like Pixar’s 〈lab model〉 had been appeared. In other way, Oprah Winfrey is showing new experimental try to connect social media and the traditional broadcasting production. Consequently, 〈Korean Style studio model〉 is imperative to make strong content production system. 〈Korean Style studio model〉 could be accomplished by introducing 〈construction of common infrastructure in the post production chain〉 and 〈collaborative management of co-work studio〉.         난독증 연구를 통해서 본 시각 시스템과 읽기 처리 과정의 관계

        읽기는 인간만이 향유하는 상위 인지 기능 중 하나이다. 시각 시스템은 읽기 학습 동안 발생하는 뇌의 학습과 가소성을 연구하기 위해 적합한 뇌의 영역이다. 특히, 상위 시각 영역은 읽기 학습 이전에는 단어에 대해 선택적으로 반응하지 않지만, 성공적인 읽기 학습을 통해 기존의 다른 기능을 담당하는 영역들 사이에서 단어에 대한 선택적 반응을 하는 단어 영역을 형성한다. 또한 시각 시스템은 읽기를 수행하는 동안 읽기 회로 중 가장 먼저 정보처리를 하는 뇌의 영역이다. 하지만 읽기 처리 과정을 위한 시각 시스템의 역할에 대한 연구는 언어 영역 등 상위 인지 영역의 연구에 비해 주목을 받지 못했다. 본 논문에서는 읽기와 밀접한 관계가 있는 시각 시스템의 기능에 대해 개관하고, 읽기 학습 장애인 난독증 연구 결과를 토대로 읽기 처리 과정에 대한 시각 시스템의 기능에 대해 논할 것이다. 끝으로 임의의 시각자극인 문자 언어와 이에 대응하는 음성 언어를 연합하는 다중 감각 정보처리 과정으로서의 읽기에 대해 논의할 것이다. 본 논문에서 개관하는 선행 연구들은 시각 시스템이 읽기 발달에 매우 중요한 역할을 한다는 것과 시각 시스템의 문제로 인한 난독증 발생의 가능성을 보여주었다. 따라서 읽기에 대한 시각 시스템의 역할을 이해하는 것은 성공적인 읽기 학습을 위한 신경 기제를 규명할 뿐만 아니라 읽기 학습 장애인 난독증 치료를 위한 효과적인 중재 프로그램 개발에 매우 중요한 연구 주제이다. Only humans possess the high-level cognitive function of reading. The visual system is the best platform to study learning and plasticity of the brain during learning to read. For example, the high-level visual areas of the illiterate brain do not selectively respond to words, and only after successful reading acquisition, the visual word form area emerges from the already established areas that selectively respond to various object categories. Furthermore, in the reading circuitry, the visual system is at the front end of reading process. However, compared to research on language and high-level cognitive areas, the role of the visual system in reading has attracted little attention. In this review paper, we summarize the reading-related function of the visual system and discuss how deficits in the visual system relate to developmental dyslexia, learning disability in reading based on dyslexia research. Finally, we discuss reading as multi-sensory processing, in which one should associate arbitrary visual symbols with speech sounds. Previous research has shown the important role of the visual system in reading development and suggested deficits in the visual system might cause dyslexia. Our research suggests that intervention programs for dyslexia as well as research on reading development should include the results from research on the visual system.

      • A Distributed Infrared Temperature Monitoring System Based on Embedded Technology and Visualization Technology

        For the contradictory issues of the transmission rate and flexibility in the current temperature system, this paper puts forward a novel fast rate, high flexibility, and visualization monitor system, and presents its architecture principle design and software-hardware of the whole system. Controller area network (CAN) bus acting as multi-host and high-speed field bus is selected to design the distributed communication system, ZigBee technology based on CC2530 and embedded system centered with ARM Cortex-M3 microprocessor STM32F103VET6 are selected to design the flexible data acquisition network, and embedded Ethernet is select to design remote and distributed monitoring. Based on the distributed system, visual monitoring software is developed; it can achieve data display, data query, and real-time monitoring and give an early alarming of accidents caused by temperature. After a number of experiments show that the system is stable, temperature flexible, highly real-time, and the temperature measurement accuracy can be up to 99.37%.
