이 논문은 Lead zirconate titanate(PZT)/Platinum(Pt) Notch 박막에 대한 인장시험 결과를 나타낸다. 시편은 Notch 길이가 70, 100 ㎛ 2 종류로 제작되어 사이즈 효과를 관찰할수 있다. 70, 100 ㎛ notch 길이 시편의 Elastic moduli는 각각 121, 135 ㎬ 이 나왔다. 또한 인장강도는 각각 316, 272.5 ㎬이 나왔다. This paper presents the results of tensile test for Lead zirconate titanate (PZT)/Platinum (Pt) Notch thin films. Specimens with two different notch diameters (70, 100 ㎛) were fabricated to study the size (width of specimen) effects. The elastic moduli of the specimens with 70, 100 ㎛ width were 121, 135 ㎬, respectively. In addition, ultimate tensile strength of the specimens with 70, 100 ㎛ width were 316, 272.5 ㎫, respectively.
터진고리 형태의 암석시편에 대한 인장강도 시험의 이론과 실제

In this study the split ring (SR) test was investigated for its applicability to the measurement of the tensile strength of rock specimen of NX size. The concept of the SR test is the same as the half ring (HR) test (Choi et al., 2019) except that the expected fracture plane is perpendicular to the loading direction. Because of this perpendicularity, however, it was believed that the SR test could be more accurate than the HR test. Like the HR specimen, the SR specimen is a curved prismatic bar with a uniform section. Appealing to a basic bending theory in strength of materials, the tensile strength for the special bar can be calculated analytically. Numerical simulations using LS-DYNA revealed, as expected, that the strength errors were 1% and 5% for the tensional and compressional SR tests, respectively, which were much lower than that (12%) of the HR test. To identify the performance of the two SR tests, laboratory experiments were conducted. The HR and Brazilian tests were also performed for comparison. The experiments showed that the ratios of the tensional and compressional SR to Brazilian strengths were 1.2∼1.4 and 1.1∼1.2, respectively, which are too small compared to empirical values in ordinary bend tests. Consequently, it is concluded that the SR test is not appropriate for use in tensile strength test of rock specimen of NX size. But the ratio of the HR to Brazilian strengths was within 1.7~2.0 for both the previous and present studies, showing a good consistency in their test results.
시트 프레임 경량화 소재의 해석 물성 구축 및 인장 시험과의 비교 해석에 관한 연구

In recent automobile development, vehicle weight reduction has become a very important goal. Seat weight reduction is a large portion of vehicle weight reduction. In this study, a specimen tensile tests were conducted on the Almag material, which is an alloy of aluminum and magnesium, and also conducted on SAFH440, SAFH 590, SAFC780, and SAFH980, which are mild steel materials used in the seat frame. The tensile specimen tests were carried out in two speed; 2mm/s and 4mm/s, and the obtained stress to strain curve was converted to the analysis material card of true stress to true strain curve to be used in the seat structural analysis. The constructed analysis material card was used in the specimen tensile finite element analysis, and the analysis result was able to obtain the stress to strain curve similar to the test result.
사출성형과정의 잔류응력을 고려한 표준인장시편의 선형구조해석

In this study, an injection mold of tensile test specimen was manufactured by international standard. Pressure and temperature in the cavity of the injection mold was measured by sensors. Simulation of injection molding process was performed with the same condition of experiment and linear structural tensile analysis was also performed with the initial condition of the residual stress induced by injection molding analysis. Normalized elastic coefficient of tensile test was compared with that of structural analysis. It was shown that the residual stress induced by injection molding has an effect on both the experiment of tensile test and linear structural analysis.

This paper deals with mechanical properties of PBX(polymer bonded explosives) simulant at various strain rates ranging from 10?⁴/sec to 10?²/sec. Mechanical properties of PBX at high strain rates are important in prediction of deformation behaviors of PBX in a warhead system which undergoes severe dynamic loading. Inert PBX stimulant which has analogous mechanical properties with PBX was utilized for material tests due to safety issues. Uniaxial tensile tests at quasi-static strain rates were conducted at strain rates ranging from 10?⁴/sec to 10?²/sec using a tensile testing machine, INTRON 5583. Results of these tests were compared with those of uniaxial compressive tests conducted at quasi-static strain rates. Deformation behaviors of PBX simulant were investigated using captured images obtained from a high-speed camera.

In the present study, design and manufacturing of plastic injection mold with cavity pressure and temperature sensor were performed for tensile test specimen. To design a molding system, standard system of mold-base and international standard of tensile test specimen were used. The dimensions of cavity and core part were defined by this standard. Cavity pressure and temperature sensors were placed on the side of fixed platen of injection mold machine to prevent them from external impact damage. The variations of cavity pressure and temperature in injection mold can be obtained by presented system.
