In this study, semi-solid thin plate of A 356 aluminum alloy was fabricated by using slope plate apparatus and vacuum pressurization. Slope plate was used to produce semi-solid material with spheroidal microstructures. After molten metal was poured into the slope plate connected to the pouring hole of die, semi-solid material flowed into the die cavity by vacuum degree. The primary crystals of the cast metal became spheroidal. In order to increase the working pressure, gas pressurization of U shape was designed for fabrication of thin plate. For 3 bar of gas pressure and 60 mmHg of vacuum degree, thin plate was fabricated without defects on surface.

<P><B>Abstract</B></P> <P>Our research group fabricated low temperature based inverted semi-transparent CH<SUB>3</SUB>NH<SUB>3</SUB>PbI<SUB>3</SUB> perovskite photovoltaics. The work function of PEDOT:PSS (PH1000) electrode was modified using polyethylenimine (PEI) and both layers are transferred on the ITO/PEDOT:PSS/CH<SUB>3</SUB>NH<SUB>3</SUB>PbI<SUB>3</SUB>/PCBM layer using hydrophobic polyurethane acrylate (PUA) polymer stamp. Even if the PH1000 spin coating on the CH<SUB>3</SUB>NH<SUB>3</SUB>PbI<SUB>3</SUB>/PCBM layer shows degradation of perovskite due to the inter-diffusion of PH1000 solvent, drying transfer shows effective layer stacking without degradation. The PEI treatment on the PH1000 contributes to reduce the work function from 5.1eV to 3.97eV and this modification makes to improve the device performance from 0.07% to 4.02%. The full device average visible transmittance (AVT) exhibits 24.53% and the work function modification shows the decreased charge transporting resistance (R<SUB>c</SUB>), which directly correlate to the enhanced open circuit voltage (V<SUB>oc</SUB>) short circuit current (J<SUB>sc</SUB>) and fill factor (FF).</P> <P><B>Highlights</B></P> <P> <UL> <LI> Semi-transparent perovskite (AVT: 24.53%) devices were fabricated using vacuum-free stamping transfer. </LI> <LI> PEI treatment on PH1000 contributed to reduce surface dipole and tune the work function of electrode. </LI> <LI> PEI/PH1000 induced enhancing device PCE (%) with increased V<SUB>oc</SUB>, J<SUB>sc</SUB>, FF, and decreased transport resistance (R<SUB>c</SUB>). </LI> </UL> </P> <P><B>Graphical abstract</B></P> <P>[DISPLAY OMISSION]</P>

Thin metallic plate with micro-pattern can be applied to useful products such as electrical and automobile parts, bipolar plates in fuel cells, and plate heat exchangers, etc. There are several processes to manufacture thin metallic plate such as stamping, rubber forming, vacuum die-casting, and semi-solid forming. This paper introduces forming processes for bipolar plate in fuel cells. In stamping and rubber forming, aluminum, stainless steel, and titanium could be used for bipolar plate. In vacuum die casting and semi-solid forming, only aluminum could be used but very precise and soundness bipolar plate was manufactured.
Physico-chemical treatment applied to compost liquor: Feasibility study

Compost liquor was treated using a combination of physico-chemical processes: (i) lime precipitation, (ii)filtration on a rotary drum vacuum precoat filter, (iii) ultrafiltration, and (iv) reverse osmosis. Laboratory Jar tests showed the interest of using lime to precipitate compost liquor. Yields of ammonium removal up to 90% were obtained for an optimum lime concentration of 6 g L-1. A test was run at semi-industrial scale on 400 L of highly loaded compost liquor (COD: 15,800 mg L-1, ammoniacal pollution:18,433 mg NH4+-N L-1, conductivity: 74,000 mS cm-1) to demonstrate the potential of the treatment process proposed. Outstanding purification yields were obtained, especially 95% of COD removal and 93%of ammoniacal pollution removal.
초고밀도 디스크 드라이브를 위한 반 진공 작동 환경에서 서보 트랙 기록 방법에 의한 RRO 저감에 대한 연구

In high-capacity disk drives with ever-growing track density, the allowable level of position error signal(PES) is becoming smaller and smaller. In order to achieve the high TPI(track per inch) disk drive, it is necessary to improve the writing accuracy during the servo track writing(STW) Process through the reduction of track mis-registration sources. Among the main contributors of the non-repeatable runout(NRRO) PES, the disk vibration and the head-stack assembly vibration is considered to be one of the most significant factors. Also the most contributors of repeatable runout(RRO) come from the contributors of NRRO which is written-in at the time of STW process. In this paper, the effect of NRRO on servo written-in RRO is Investigated by experimentally, and the experimental result shows that the written-in RRO can be effectively reduced through a STW process under low dense medium condition such as semi-vacuum.
