Austenitic stainless steels used in nuclear power plants mainly use pipes made of seamless pipes, which depend on imports. The manufacturing process and high cost are some of the problems associated with seamless pipes. Therefore, in this study, the corrosion characteristics of the seamless pipe and the SAW pipe were assessed to determine the safety and reliability of the SAW pipe in a bid to replace the seamless pipe. Microstructure was analyzed using an optical microscope and the degree of hardness was measured using a Rockwell B scale. Intergranular corrosion resistance was evaluated by ASTM A262 Practice A, C, and E methods. The degree of sensitization was determined using a DL-EPR test. Anodic polarization test was performed in deaerated 1% NaCl solution at 30 ℃ and the U-bend method was used to evaluate the SCC resistance in 0.01 M Na<sub>2</sub>S<sub>4</sub>O<sub>6</sub> at 340 ℃ and 40% NaOH solution at 290 ℃. Weld metal of the SAW pipe specimen showed relatively high degree of sensitization and intergranular corrosion rate. However, annealing to SAW pipes improved the corrosion properties in comparison to that of the seamless pipe.

In this study, compression process is performed on the seamless E235 pipe using the newly developed compression technology for seamless pipe. Experimental analysis on the heterogeneity of microstructures and mechanical properties of the deformed seamless pipe is conducted. As a result, the correlation between microstructures and mechanical properties are determined. The spatial distribution of effective stress and effective strain developed in the seamless pipe deformed through compression is analyzed using the finite element method (FEM) based on different inner pressure conditions. From the results of the FEM, the impact of the inner pressure on effective stress and effective strain of the seamless pipe deformed through compression can be understood theoretically.

Existing core components of wind power generator, various drive components, have been changed and innovated an electric drive system to a hydraulic drive system due to the enlargement of wind turbines. According as the demand for development and production of hydraulic components escalates, the importance of seamless pipe in the hydraulic line for wind power generation has been increased. This study involves formability analysis for pipes of high pressure brake in wind power generation. We evaluate a safety factor for thickness of the pipe by each outer diameter when operating pressure is applied. And, process analyses for tube sinking and plug drawing were conducted respectively in order to apply design parameters. And then, pipe bending analysis was performed for deformation of pipe. This result would be utilized to preliminary data in pipe bending analysis with plastic deformation in future research.

Austenitic stainless steels have been widely used for various systems of nuclear power plants. Among these stainless steels, small pipes with diameter less than 14 inch have been produced in the form of seamless pipe. Annealing and cooling process during the manufacturing process can affect corrosion properties of seamless stainless steels. Therefore, 12 inch-diameter of as-received 304L stainless steel pipe was annealed and aged in this study. Intergranular corrosion resistance was evaluated by ASTM A262 Practice A, C, and E methods. The degree of sensitization was determined using a DL-EPR test. U-bend method in an autoclave was used to evaluate the SCC resistance in 0.01 M Na<sub>2</sub>S<sub>4</sub>O<sub>6</sub> or 40% NaOH solution at 340 °C. As-received specimen showed relatively high degree of sensitization and intergranular corrosion rate. Carbon segregation was also observed near grain boundaries. Annealing treatment could give the dissolution of segregated carbon into the matrix. Aging treatment could induce segregation of carbon and finally form carbides. Microstructural analysis confirmed that high intergranular corrosion rate of the as-received seamless pipe was due to micro-galvanic corrosion between carbon segregation and grains.

The latest trend of offshore plant that there are many demands for Line pipe for oil and gas mining, separation, transportation, pretreatment, storage and processing executed as plant of deep ocean resources production increasingly. The major customer of SAW pipe need to develop new technology of large-diameter steel pipe SAW(Submerged Arc Welding) applied replaced with a drawing-type SAW Seamless steel pipe. In this paper shows our study about mechanical properties which is two type of SAW pipes manufactured by press bending after removing inside welding seam.
수소취성 관련 국내외 기준 조사를 통한 수소충전소용 고압수소배관 적용 기준 방안

수소경제의 Value-chain은 원료, 제조, 수소저장 및 운송, 충전, 이용 등으로 구성되어 있다. 이용 측면에서 우리나라의 수소전기차 분야는 선진국과 비교하여 기술적으로 우위에 있으나, 수소 저장, 운동 및 충전 등의 인프라는 취약한 상황이다. 따라서, 우리나라는 2019년에 수소경제활성화 로드맵을 발표하고, 수소경제 인프라를 구축하기 위해 수소충전소를 2022년 310개소, 2040년 1,200개소까지 점차 확충하고자 한다. 수소충전소에 사용되는 고압수소용 배관은 -40~85℃에서 최대 87.5 MPa 압력을 견질 수 있는 소재가 필요하다. 특히, 고압수소배관은 배관 소재의 종류와, 용접과 같은 연결부위에서 수소 취성에 의해 기계적 강도가 크게 저하된다. 따라서, 수소 안정성이 높은 SUS316L과 같은 오스테나이트계 스테인리스 무계목(seamless) 강관을 사용 중에 있으며, 그 외에 수소 내성 합금을 다양하게 개발 중에 있다. 본 연구에서는 수소 인프라 확충을 위해 고압수소배관과 관련된 국내 및 해외 시험분석 기준을 검토하여 수소충전소에 적용가능한 기준 방안 및 시험법을 수립하고자 하였다.
