내부적 이야기에 기저한 질적 연구에 관한 실천신학적 접근: 자전적 민속지학 연구의 예

The practice of telling our story matters. The purpose of practical theology is to provide a theological framework within which our stories of lives related to church and society can be reflected in the truthfulness of the gospel and the story of the faithfulness of God. Drawing from the understanding narrative identity, firstly, this paper explores the meaning of ‘Christian practice’ and emphasizes that practical theology is a theological reflection as practical theologians need to become reflexive and consider hidden dimensions of a particular situation while recognizing the complexity of understanding the situation in using social scientific methods. One of the problems in conversations between finding meaning in our story and faithful performance of the gospel is that how we locate ourselves in this dialogue without relinquishing Christian belief while participating in the truthfulness of the gospel story reflecting on our account. In this discussion, the author suggests the importance of theological priority and reflexivity in theological reflection. As the interpretive practice, an introspective narrative approach to qualitative research method is proposed to make sense of one’s findings and takes both prophetic and therapeutic dimensions seriously. Finally, this paper offers an example of aligning autoethnography into theological reflection as a pastoral practice which considers relationally ethical and reflexive moments. 실천신학의 가장 중요한 과제는 예수를 믿고 따르는 삶이라는 독특한 이야기적 정체성을 가진 기독교인들이 어떻게 하면 기독교 교회와 개인의 삶 속에서 복음을 실천하며, 일상 가운데 바르게 생각할 수 있는 틀을 가지고, 이를 냉철히 숙고하도록 돕느냐에 달려있다. 저자는 먼저 이야기적 정체성의 의미를 살핀다. 그리고 실천신학의 연구 방법론적인 면에 대해 논의하며, ‘실천’의 의미를 재점검한다. 실천신학적 논리의 틀은 실천의 의미를 믿음과 기독교의 전통을 고수하는 데 그치지 않고, 예수의 복음과 교회의 비전에 참여하며, 소통하는 과정이 있어야 한다. 이 과정 안에 기독교의 전통과 교리를 뒷받침하면서도 또한 한 인간으로서 우리가 겪는 삶의 이야기를 어떻게 하면 기독교의 복음과 하나님의 이야기 속에서 그 의미를 찾아 신학적인 대화로 이끌 것인가 하는 것이 우리의 오랜 숙제이다. 이에 대해 저자는 이야기적 정체성과 해석학적 성향에 대해서 숙고하면서, 사회과학적 연구방법을 사용하는 데에 있어서 신학적 성찰과 신학적 우선순위가 있어야 함에 대해 논한다. 더 나아가 질적 연구의 내부적인 이야기적 접근의 한 예로 자전적 민속지학 연구를 소개한다. 이의 주된 요지는 자전적 민속지학 연구 모델을 통해 연구자가 내부적 입장에서 특정한 현실을 관찰하고 연구할 때, 연구자의 삶에 내재한 타인과의 관계성을 깊이 인식하고, 연구자가 이 모델을 사용하는 과정에서 연구 결과가 나오기까지는 반성(Reflexivity)하는 태도를 잃지 않고, 관계적인 윤리(Relational ethics of care)를 고려해야 한다는 점이다. 이 두 영역은 실천신학과 사회과학 연구방법을 접목하는데 중요한 의식적 태도이다. 또한, 이 연구 모델을 사용할 때 실천신학자는 자신의 이야기를 구연하는 것처럼 소통할 수 있어야 한다.

Feministic Theological Approach to Spiritual Direction - Centered on Rosemary R. Ruether -

This research has endeavored to demonstrate that feminist theological approaches can be a formative strategy for spiritual direction in the Christian context. The paper began with the problematic discrimination against women that has been systematically constructed and is currently experienced by Christian women. The prevalence of male language in the traditional hierarchic and patriarchic theological structures was identified as a critical impediment for female directees to affirm not only their self-identities, but also their spiritual experiences within the Christian frame. Feminist theological themes, ranging from divine images and Christology to human nature, shed light upon deconstructing and reconstructing the theological frameworks within Christian theology. So, this study attempted to demonstrate the ways in which the traditional Christian theological approaches reconstructed with feminist approaches could play a significant role in cultivating the spiritual experiences of female directees and enhancing their spiritual identity. The feminist theological approaches contain formative and constitutive components for renewing or authenticating spiritual direction for female directees.

본 연구는 정 정숙 교수의 가정 사역 전반의 특성과 의의를 살펴보고 그 학문적, 사역적 업적을 자리 매김하는데 그 목적을 두고 있다. 연구를 통해 우리는 정 교수가 하나님의 영광과 통치를 드러내기 위한 도구로 주님 안에서 성숙한 가정을 회복하고 세워 나가는데 큰 관심을 가지고 있음을 알게 되었다. 정교수는 세속적이고 인간중심적 접근이 만연한 가정 사역 분야에 성경적 접근을 위한 이론적이고 체계적인 토대를 구축하였다. 본 연구는 정 교수의 가정 사역의 의의와 공헌을 다음의 몇 가지 측면에서 요약하여 보여준다. 첫째, 정교수는 신앙과 행위의 절대적 표준인 성경과 개혁 신학적 토대의 중요성을 강조함으로 기독교 가정 사역만이 지니는 독특한 정체성을 분명히 드러내 주었다. 둘째, 정교수의 가정 사역 안에는 개혁 신학과 기독교 교육학, 기독교 상담 분야의 이론과 실제가 성경에 바탕을 둔 개혁신학적 준거 틀에 의해 걸러져 재통합되고 있다. 또한 기독교 가정사역의 정체성과 현장의 필요를 함께 고려한 이론과 실제가 조화를 이룬 총체적 접근이 이루어지고 있음을 알 수 있다. 뿐만 아니라 정교수는 가정 사역을 위한 교회와 가정의 협력을 강조하면서 사역을 위한 보다 구체적인 전략들과 효과적인 실천 방안과 프로그램들을 제시해주고 있다. This study aims to investigate and evaluate prof. Chungsook Chung Kim`s Christian family ministry. As a consequence, we acknowledge that she displays great concern for recovering and establishing mature family to reveal the glory of God and the sovereign of God. She builds a theoretical and systemic basis of biblical approach in the field of family ministry where chaotic secular human-based family ministries prevail. This study summarizes the significances and contributions of prof. Chung Kim`s family ministry. Firstly, she notifies the essential identification and uniqueness of Christian family ministry by emphasizing the base of reformed theology and the Bible, the norm of Christian faith and ethics. Secondly, she proposes a model of holistic Christian family ministry, in which various views, theories and practices of reformed theology, Christian education, Christian counseling are screened and reintegrated on the basis of reformed theology and the Bible. Also, in her works, we finds a harmony between theories and practices with a consideration of both the identity of Christian family ministry and practical needs. Finally, she not only emphasizes a cooperation between Church and family but also proposes more concrete strategies and efficient programs for Christian family ministry.
