목회(기독교) 상담사의 협동조합 모델 실천 경험에 대한 목회신학적 성찰

이 연구는 목회돌봄이 교회를 넘어 공적 역할이 요구되는 시대에 출현한 협동조합 모델의 실천이 돌봄의 또 한 명의 주체인 상담사에게 이 경험이 어떤 의미를 지니고 있으며, 앞으로 이 모델을 위해 필요한 것이 무엇인지 살펴보고자 한다. 또한 목회신학적 성찰을 통해 한국 목회상담의 모델로서의 새로운 대안으로 자리매김할 수 있는 가능성을 찾아보고자 하는 시도이다. 성과 중심의 무한 경쟁 사회로 달리고 있던 신자유주의 체제의 시대는 사회적으로 불평등과 양극화의 심화 등의 한계가 대두되며 사회적이고 공평한 체제로의 전환을 위하여 세계는 사회적 경제를 주목하기 시작하였다. 사회적 경제는 자본보다 사람 중심을 강조하며 등장하였다. 삶의 질 증진, 빈곤, 소외 극복 등을 위해 협력과 호혜를 바탕으로 한다. 이러한 시점에 코로나19 팬데믹이 나타나면서 삶의 현장에서 연대와 민주적 상호 호혜의 가치는 더욱 중요한 사회적 가치로 강조되고 있다. 목회돌봄 또한 교회 내부에 머무는 것이 아니라 목회신학적 가치로 사회에 공적 역할에 대한 필요가 대두되고 있다. 그 대안으로 협동조합 모델이 시도되었다. 그리하여 목회상담가들이 각자 개인의 한 주체로서 협동조합에 참여하여 공적 역할의 실천을 기대하고, 그 실천을 행하고 있다. 그렇기에 연구자는 새로운 대안으로 등장한 협동조합 모델이 그동안의 실천 경험 속에서 각 주체로서 개인에게 어떠한 의미를 지니며, 협동조합의 철학과 운영이 실천 경험에서 어떤 의미를 지니는지 인터뷰 분석을 통하여 살펴본다. 이 연구를 통하여 신자유주의 체제에서 사회적 경제 체제로, 코로나19로 인하여 마음의 연대가 중요하게 대두되는 시대의 전환기에서 돌봄의 현장의 필요와 목회상담가들의 필요에 목회(기독교) 상담의 협동조합 모델이 응답하는 실제적인 대안이 되기를 기대한다. This study considers the practice of the cooperative model which emerged at a time when pastoral care was called to play a public role beyond the church. It also discusses the significance of this experiencer the counselors, another practitioner of care. Finally it looks at the requirements for this model in the future. Through pastoral and theological reflection, the study is also an attempt establish a new alternative for Korean pastoral counseling. In an era of neoliberalism, marked by a performance-centered society in endless competition, negative impacts of social inequality and deepening polarization are emerging. The world has begun to pay attention to the social economy in order to transition to a social and equitable system. The social economy has placed the emphasis on people over capital. It is based on cooperation and reciprocity towards the improvement of the quality of life and the overcoming of poverty and alienation. With the occurrence of COVID-19, the values of solidarity and democratic reciprocity are becoming ever more important social values in various walks of life. It is also becoming increasingly necessary for pastoral care to play a public role in society, with pastoral theological values. Thus, the cooperative model was introduced as an alternative approach. Pastoral counselors participate in the cooperative model as individual subjects and, embracing their public roles, put it into practice. By analyzing interviews, this study looks at the cooperative model and its significance for individuals as subjects in their practical experience, as well as the significance of the cooperatives’ philosophy and practical experience of operation. In an era shifting from the neoliberal system to the social economy, and in an era where solidarity of the mind becomes vital due to COVID-19, this study hopes to offer a practical alternative to the needs of caregivers and pastoral counselors through the cooperative model of pastoral (christian) counseling.

The purpose of this study is to explore the nature of the psychological counselor’s experiences, such as changes in cognition, emotion, behavior, and the meaning of experiences in the adapting process to video counseling after COVID-19. As a result, psychological counselor' experiences in video counseling were found in six categories: ‘starting video counseling with conflicting perceptions,’ ‘discovering the possibility of video counseling,’ ‘experiencing the limits of video counseling,’ ‘effort for overcoming the limits of video counseling,’ ‘meaning of video counseling experience,’ and ‘proposal for video counseling development.’ The significance and implications of this study are as follows. First, it provides a field to share effective video counseling techniques. Second, counselors needed the process of newly adapting to video counseling. Third, the role of counseling centers and counseling academia was also an important factor of video counseling. Fourth, it was confirmed that the identity of Christian counselors positively affects counselors and clients in video counseling. 본 연구는 코로나-19 이후 심리상담사가 화상상담 적응 과정에서 겪은 인지, 정서, 행동의 변화, 경험의 의미, 심리상담사가 원하는 화상상담의 발전 방향 등 경험의 본질 탐색에 목적이 있다. 기독(목회) 상담사 8명을 면담해 Colaizzi의 현상학적 방법론으로 분석했다. 연구결과는 ‘상반된 인식을 가진 채 화상상담 시작’, ‘화상상담의 가능성 발견’, ‘화상상담의 한계 절감’, ‘한계 극복을 위해 노력’, ‘화상상담 경험의 의미’, ‘화상상담 발전을 위한 제안’ 등 6가지 범주로 나타났다. 본 연구의 의의 및 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 효과적인 화상상담 비결을 공유하는 장을 제공한다. 둘째, 대면상담에 익숙한 상담사도 화상상담에 새롭게 적응하는 과정과 자신만의 기법 개발 노력이 필요함을 확인했다. 셋째, 화상상담의 효과적인 활용 및 확장을 위해 상담센터 및 상담학계 역할 역시 중요한 요소였다. 넷째, 급변하는 세상에서 성육신 예수님의 사랑을 실천하려는 노력과 임마누엘 하나님에 대한 믿음 등 기독(목회) 상담사의 정체성이 상담자와 내담자에게 긍정적으로 영향을 미침을 확인했다.

This study examines the counseling experience of Christian counselors with pastoral experience through a phenomenological research method. It was found in previous studies that counselors with Christian faith may differ from non-Christian counselors in counseling motives, preparation, training, and process methods, etc. In particular, The purpose of this study is to reveal the characteristic experiences of counselors with pastoral experience who have a deep understanding of the Christian faith through counseling. For the study, in-depth interviews were conducted with 5 people who are currently pastors or have more than 5 years of pastoral experience in H area, and who are working as counselors using the snowball method. The collected data were analyzed by applying Colaizzi's method. As a result of the study, first, it was possible to find the reason for starting counseling, and what they had in common was understanding people and seeking ways to solve their pain. Second, the study participants were experiencing exhaustion in counseling and were overcoming them in various ways, including religious methods. Third, as Christian counselors with pastoral experience, they were experiencing dilemmas and concerns about their identity in counseling. This study provided practical information on the counseling experiences characteristic of counselors with pastoral experience, and the results are expected to be used as data for Christian counseling and Christian counseling factors studies.
