        간호대학생의 진학동기, 진로희망 구체성에 따른 대학생활적응 유형 및 진로소명 차이 분석

        본 연구는 간호대학생의 진학동기와 진로희망 구체성 등 개인적 요인이 대학생활적응 및 진로소명에 어떠한 효과를 갖는지 구명하는 데 그 목적이 있다. 연구 목적 달성을 위해 전북지역 K간호대학의 재학생을 대상으로 연구자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 M-plus 8, SPSS win 23.0 프로그램을 활용하여 기술통계, t-test, ANOVA, Chi-square test, 잠재프로파일분석(Latent profile analysis) 등으로 분석하였다. 연구 결과, 자발적 진학동기에 의해 진학한 간호대학생은 그렇지 않은 학생보다 대학생활적응 수준 및 진로소명 수준에서 유의미한 차이를 보였고, 간호계열의 구체적 직무를 희망 진로로 선택한 간호대학생은 그렇지 않은 학생보다 진로소명 수준이 높았다. 간호대학생의 대학생활적응 유형은 4개로 군집화 되어, 각각 ‘사회-정서 집단’, ‘균형적응 집단’, ‘건강취약 집단’, ‘정서취약 집단’ 으로 명명하였다. 간호대학생의 대학생활적응 유형은 자발적 진학동기와 유의미한 차이를 나타냈으며, 진로소명 수준에서도 유의한 차이를 보였다. 구체적으로 간호대학생의 진로소명 수준은 사회-정서집단에서 타 집단보다 높아, 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 사회적으로 적절한 관계를 맺고 감정적으로 적응하는 학생의 진로소명이 높으므로 이를 지원해야 한다는 점, 건강은 진로소명을 갖는 데 제약이 되지 않을 가능성이 높고, 정서적 적응이 중요하다는 점 등을 결론지었다. 이러한 결과 및 결론을 통해 간호교육 및 간호대학생 진로 데이터 분석에 주는 시사점을 논의하였다. The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of nursing college students’ personal factors such as motivation of entering college and concrete of career hope on college adjustment and career calling. To achieve the purpose of the study, research data were collected from students at K nursing colleges in Jeollabuk-do, Republic of Korea. Collected data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Chi-square test, and latent profile analysis using M-plus 8 and SPSS win 23.0 program. The results showed that nursing college students who entered with spontaneous motivation of entering college showed significant difference in college adjustment level and career calling level than those who did not. Also, students who have made concrete career hope had higher level of career calling than those who did not. The study identifies four types of college adjustment for nursing students, namely ‘Social-emotional high’, ‘Balanced high’, ‘Physically weak’ and ‘Emotionally weak’. The college adjustment type of nursing college students was significantly different from that of spontaneous motivation of entering college and also at the level of career calling. Specifically, the career calling level of nursing college students is higher for those in ‘social-emotional high’ than in other groups. Based on these results, the study concludes that the career calling of students with socially appropriate relationship and emotional adaptation should be supported as they have higher career calling. Also, there is a high likelihood that health status has no constraint on having a career calling, while emotional adaptation is crucial for it. Based on these results and conclusions, implications for nursing education and career data analysis of nursing college students were discussed

      • 간호전공과 비 간호전공 여대생의 모유수유 지식과 태도, 실천 지속 의지에 대한 연구

        Purpose: This study was conducted as benchmark to improve breast-feeding educational programs by comparing knowledge, attitude, and practical volition between female nursing college students and non-nursing college students. Method: The survey was conducted on 236 female students from ‘E’ and ‘Y’ Universities which were located in Seoul. The sample consisted of 114 nursing and 122 non-nursing college students. The data were collected using self-administered questionnaires from October 25 to December 17, 2012. The collected data were analyze dusing SPSS20.0. Result: The nursing college students’ level of knowledge, attitude and practical volition toward breast feeding was higher than non-nursing college students. There was positive correlation between knowledge and practical volition and attitude and practical volition about breast-feeding in nursing college students. But non-nursing college students had positive correlation between knowledge and attitude, and knowledge and practical volition about breast-feeding. Conclusion: Based on the results of the research, there was a correlation between knowledge, attitude, and practical volition toward breast feeding. It was suggested that technical knowledge of breast feeding be offered to female college students, as well as nursing college students. It could help them have the right information on breast feeding. It was also suggested that educational programs to reinforce emotional⋅practical attitude based on the knowledge of breast feeding be developed. Also, this study suggested that female students get their practical education in breast feeding under any circumstances with the practical volition to breast feed. Improving the knowledge, attitude, and the practical volition toward breast feeding, will increase the rate of breast feeding.

        간호대학생의 대학생활적응과 간호 전문직관 및 진로정체감: 임상대체실습을 중심으로

        Objectives The purpose of this study was to verify the adaptation of college life, nursing professionalism and career identity in nursing students on alternative clinical practicum. Methods The subjects of this study were 257 nursing students in fourth grades located in J province, and data were collected using self-administered questionnaires. To analyse the data, Cronbach's α, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation, Scheffe test were used with an SPSS 20.0 program. Results Mean score of subjects was 3.49 adaptation of college life score, 3.56 nursing professionalism score and 2.38 career identity score. Adaptation of college life showed a significant difference in satisfaction with nursing as a major. Nursing professionalism showed a significant difference in application motivation and satisfaction with nursing as a major. Career identity showed a significant difference in application motivation, school life and satisfaction with nursing as a major. Adaptation of college life, nursing professionalism and career identity had significant positive correlations. Conclusions As a result of this study, the adaptation of college life, nursing professionalism, and career identity of the subjects who underwent alternative clinical practicum were rather low. Also, the better students adapt to college life, the higher their nursing professionalism and sense of career identity will be so it is expected that this study will be used as a basis for establishing measures to improve nursing students' college life adaptation and to enhance nursing professionalism and career identity. 목적 본 연구는 임상대체실습 시 간호대학생의 대학생활적응과 간호 전문직관 및 진로정체감를 확인하기 위해 실시되었다. 방법 이를 위하여 J도에 소재하는 간호대학의 4학년 재학생 257명을 대상으로, 자기기입식 설문지를 활용하여 자료수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS WIN 20.0 프로그램을 이용하였고, Cronbach’s α, 빈도, 백분율, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation 으로 분석하였으며, 사후검정을 위해 Scheffé test를 실시하였다. 결과 대상자의 대학생활적응은 평균 3.49점이었고, 간호 전문직관은 평균 3.56점이었으며, 진로정체감은 평균 2.38점이었다. 대학생활적응을 분석한 결과 간호학 전공만족도에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었고, 간호 전문직관을 분석한 결과 입학동기와 간호학 전공만족도에 따라 유의한 차이가 있었으며, 진로정체감을 분석한 결과 입학동기, 학교생활, 간호학 전공만족도에 따라 유의한 차이가있었다. 각 변수 간의 상관관계는 모두 유의한 정 상관관계로 나타났다. 결론 본 연구결과 임상대체실습을 수행한 대상자들의 대학생활적응과 간호 전문직관 및 진로정체감이 다소 낮은 것을 알 수 있어, 앞으로의 임상대체실습을 위해 내용이나 방법 등 개발에 대한 후속연구가 필요할 것으로 보인다. 또한, 대학생활에 잘 적응할수록간호 전문직관과 진로정체감이 높은 것을 알 수 있어, 간호대학생들의 대학생활적응 향상 및 간호 전문직관과 진로정체감 증진을위한 대책 수립의 기초자료로 활용되기를 기대한다.

        Purpose: The purpose of this study was to check the stress, stress and coping ability of nursing college students and to identify factors that influence college life adjustment. Method: This study was a descriptive research study to confirm the correlation between stress, stress response, coping ability, and college life adaptation of nursing college students, and to analyze the factors that influence college life adjustment. The data collection period was from August 17 to 23, 2020, for one week, the researcher directly explains the purpose and purpose of the study to 221 nursing college students nationwide, and online surveys to those who have agreed to participate in the study. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS Win 20.0 program. Results: Adaptation to college was negatively correlated with stress (r=-.285, p<.001), stress response (r=-.258, p<.001), and coping ability (r=.512, p<.001) had a positive correlation. The most significant factor influencing the study subjects' adaptation to college life was coping ability (β=.473, p<.001), followed by stress (β=-.185, p=.002) in the order of The explanatory power of the factors affecting the subject's adaptation to college life was 28.9%. Conclusion: As a result of this study, it means that nursing students' adaptation to college life has less stress and stress response, and higher coping ability increases college life adaptation. The factor that influenced the adjustment to college life was the most significant factor, followed by stress. In order for nursing students to adjust to college life smoothly, it is thought that coping measures to reduce stress and stress responses and overcome them are necessary.

      • 기독교 간호대학생들의 교구간호에 대한 인식

        The purpose of this study was to investigate cognition about parish nursing of the students attending Christian nursing college and to provide the basic resources for developing parish nursing academic program for students. Subjects of this study were students who are attending 4 years course of Christian nursing college in Junjoo, Daekoo and Busan city. Research tools used for this study were modified version of the study composed by Hwang(2000) to parish nurse program questionaire by Djupe(1990). Data were collected from 1st, June to 31st July by teacher's helping of the college. Data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA and Scheffer test with SPSS/PC program. The summary of the study was as follows ; 1. The total mean point score of the cognition about parish nursing service was 4.11±0.421(max, 5; min, 1). Highest score among categories is spiritual nursing (4.23±0.62) and then HOSPICE care(4.21±), individual counseling(4.17±0.51), group health education(4.15±0.12), the advice on choosing hospital or health center(4.14±0.54), home nursing service (4.13±0.51), individual health teaching (4.11±0.55), health screening (4.02±0.60) and home visiting (3.82±0.57) 2. There was no relationship between general characteristics of the subjects and student's cognition about parish nursing statistically significant differences. But there were significant differences between the student's cognition about parish nursing and related religions; 'attending church'(F=10.125, p=0.000), 'grade of faith in church' (F=3.565, p=0.004), 'history of faith '(F=3.648, p=0.006), 'family's faith'(F=5.248, p=0.000), 'participate of church service' (F=5.242, p=0.001), 'any special program in church '(F=6.196, p=0.000) and 'participate in special program in church' (F=6.817, p=0.000). Also there were significant differences between the student's cognition and related parish nursing; 'knowing about parish nursing' (F=13.106, p=0.000), 'need of parish nursing '(F-9.972, p=0.000), 'participate to parish nursing'(F=13.149, p=0.000) and 'hope to work as a parish nurse after graduate college '(F=5.861, p=0.001). In conclusion, the level of student's cognition about parish nursing was comparatively high score and positively. It is necessary to develop the curriculum of the parish nursing to give more hope and challenge to the students.

      • A Study on Nursing College Students’ Knowledge, Attitude, Confidence in Performance and Practice on Patient SAFETY Management in KOREA

        This study was a descriptive study conducted to investigate nursing college students’ degree of patient safety management during their clinical training. This study aimed to provide a baseline data for developing systematic nursing educational curriculum for the enhancement of competence in nursing college students’ fundamental patient safety nursing intervention. The participants consisted of 372 senior nursing college students who have had clinical practice at a nursing college in Gwangju metropolitan city. The data was collected from December 4th to 28th in 2017 at the end-point of their clinical training education in nursing college, and convenience sampling was the method of inves-tigation for this research. For the assessment of patient safety management knowledge(PSM-K), instrument modified by Choi & Lee(2015) from Park & Park(2014) was used. The instrument for patient safety management attitude(PSM-A) assessment was by Chenot & Daniel(2007), for confidence in performance of patient safety man-agement(PSM-CP) by Park(2011), and for patient safety management practice(PSM-P) by Yoo & Lee(2014). The collected data was analyzed with SPSS 19.0 using descriptive statistics, t-test, One-way ANOVA, and Scheffé test. The results of this study indicated that the ratio of correct answers of PSM-K was 70.7%, PSM-A was 3.85, PSM-CP was 3.99, and PSM-P was 4.24 out of 5 points. And also in terms of the correlations between PSM-K, PSM-A, PSM-CP, and PSM-P, significant positive correlations existed between PSM-K and PSM-A(r=.28, p<.001), PSM-CP and PSM-K(r=.19, p<.001), PSM-CP and PSM-A(r=.48, p<.001), PSM-P and PSM-A(r=.37, p<.001), and PSM-CP and PSM-P(r=.37, p<.001). Therefore, in order to enhance nursing college students’ competence in patient safety nursing intervention, nursing college students must experience various exercises and training for patient safety management during the clinical practicum as well as with scenario-based simulation. And nursing education facilities should develop educational contents about patient safety for nursing college students.

        코로나19 상황에서 간호대학생의 간호전문직관과 회복탄력성이대학생활적응에 미치는 영향

        The Effect of Nursing Professionalism and Resilience of NursingStudents on College Life Adjustment in COVID-19Mihwa Park Abstract: The study was to investigate the effect of nursing professionalism and resilience of nursing students on college life adjustment in COVID-19. Data were collected using questionnaires from 144 students at nursing colleges in C province, from Aug. 29 to Sept. 15, 2022. The collected data was analyzed descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation, hierarchical regression analysis from SPSS WIN 21.0 program. As a result, nursing students’ college life adjustment showed a significant positive correlation with nursing professionalism and resilience. The factors affecting the college life adjustment of nursing students were nursing professionalism and major satisfaction, and their explanatory power was 61%. In order to improve nursing professionalism and major satisfaction, it is necessary to apply a curriculum and educational program that reflects environmental changes and demands for education according to the post COVID-19.         간호대학생의 전공만족도와 대학생활 적응의 관계에서 간호전문직관의 조절 및 매개효과

        본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 전공만족도, 간호전문직관, 대학생활적응의 관계를 확인하고, 전공만족도와 대학생 활적응의 관계에서 간호전문직관의 역할을 파악하여 대학생활적응을 돕는 기초자료를 제공하고자 시행하였다. 연구대상자는 K시와 P시에 소재하는 4년제 대학 2개교에서 간호대학생 553명을 대상으로 자기기입식 설문조사를 시행하였다. 자료수집 기간은 2016년 11월 07일부터 11월 25일까지였다. 설문에 응답한 데이터는 SPSS 20.0 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계(평균, 표준편차), t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson correlation coefficient, hierarchical regression analysis으로 분석하였다. 연구결과, 간호대학생의 전공만족도는 5점 만점에 3.86점, 간호전문직관은 5점 만점에 3.97점, 대학생활적응은 5점 만점에 3.34점이었으며, 간호대학생의 전공만족도와 간호전문직관(r=.640, p<.001), 전공만족도와 대학생활적응(r=.510, p<.001), 간호전문직관과 대학생활적응(r=.448, p<.001)은 각각에서 유의한 정(+)의 상관관계가 있었다. 그리고 간호대학생의 전공만족도와 대학생활적응과의 관계에서 간호전문직관이 유의한 조절효과(F=8.460, p=.004)와 부분매개효과(β=.21, p<.001)를 가지는 것으로 확인되었다. 결론적으로 간호대학생의 전공만족도가 대학생활적응에 미치는 영향에서 간호전문직관이 매우 중요한 요인임을 보여준다. 따라서 간호대학생의 대학생활적응을 높이기 위해서는 전공만족도를 높이고, 나아가 올바른 간호전문직관을 확립할 수 있는 교육프로그램의 개발 및 적용이 필요하다. This study investigated the relationshipsamong major satisfaction, nursing professionalism, and college life adaptation of the nursing students in order to present basic data to assist in adaption of college life. The study subjects were 553 nursing students from two universities in K and P cities by self-report questionnaire survey. Data were collected between November 7 and November 25, 2016. The data were analyzed through frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson correlation coefficient, and hierarchical regression using SPSS 21.0 program. As a result, major satisfaction, nursing professionalism, and college life adaptation averaged 3.86(out of 5), 3.97(5), and 3.34(5) respectively. There was a significant positive correlation between major satisfaction and nursing professionalism, college life adaptation on nursing students. In addition, nursing professionalism had moderating(F=8.460, p=.004) and partial mediating (β= .21, p<.001) effects between major satisfaction and college life adaptation among nursing students. In conclusion, nursing professionalism is a very important factor in the effects of major satisfaction of nursing students on college life adaptation. Therefore, in order to promote college life adaptation of nursing students, and increase their major satisfaction, it is necessary to develop and apply an educational program that can establish the right nursing professionalism.

      • College Nursing Students’ Awareness of COVID-19 Pandemic in Korea : Q methodological approach

        Aim(s): The purpose of this study was to explore and typify the structure of nursing college students" awareness of spreading coronavirus-19 pandemic experiences through Q methodology, understanding the type-specific characteristics of nursing college students and present strategies for developing infection care programs. It was attempted to understand the characteristics of different types of nursing college students and to present strategies for developing infection nursing education programs. Method(s): For the formation of the Q population, nursing college students conducted written interviews on their experience of spreading coronavirus-19 pandemic and literature reviews related to coronavirus-19. Based on the results derived from this, a total of 34 Q statements were extracted through the task of sorting out overlapping or ambiguous sentences. The Q sample statement was assigned to 60 nursing college students to be classified in a regular distribution table with a nine-point scale, and the data collected were analyzed using a pc-QUANAL program. Result(s): The analysis identified four types of awareness of spreading coronavirus-19 in nursing college students. The first type was “the new fact-aware acceptance type”, the second type was the “inconvenience-sensitive of daily change type”, the third type was “the limited human relationship regret type”, and the fourth type was “the preliminary nurse preparation type”. Conclusion(s): Through this study, nursing universities will be able to develop nursing education programs that can effectively cope with infectious manage nursing and develop educational strategies that to perform nursing tasks as professionals through proper recognition of new infectious diseases.
