ANSYS와 MS Excel을 이용한 볼트 체결부의 VDI 2230 기반 구조 해석 및 평가 자동화 도구

기계 구조물 간 결합에는 볼트 체결이 주로 사용되며, 기계 구조물의 파손 가능성 및 소음 등의 문제를 최소화하고 성능을 유지하도록 설계 시, 볼트의 형상 및 위치, 재질, 체결력, 외부 하중 등의 다양한 영향 인자를 고려한다. 볼트 체결부의 설계 시 이러한 영향 인자 변화에 따른 반복적인 평가가 필요하므로 유한요소 해석 기법을 적용하는 것이 효과적이다. 본 논문은 다양한 영향 인자 변화에 따른 볼트 체결부의 반복적인 구조 해석 및 평가에 활용하도록 ANSYS MAPDL을 기반으로 Microsoft Excel 및 Visual Basic을 이용한 UI 환경과 연계한 자동화 도구를 설명한다. 이 자동화 도구는 입력 변수에 따라서 볼트 체결부의 유한요소 모델링 및 구조 해석을 자동적으로 수행하고, 그 결과는 VDI 2230 규격을 기준으로 평가된다. 끝으로 적용 예제를 통하여 본 자동화 도구를 검증하였다. Bolted joints are mainly used for the fastening of mechanical structures. They should be designed to minimize failure and noise and to maintain a high level of performance by considering various design parameters such as bolt dimensions, positions, materials, bolt pre-tensions, external loads, etc. For this purpose, it is effective to use finite element analysis because repeated performance evaluations while varying the design parameters is necessary to complete the design of the bolt fastener. This paper describes an automation tool developed for use in the repeated structural analysis and evaluation of bolted joints under the influence of various factors. The automation tool is based on ANSYS APDL (ANSYS parametric design language) and is developed in conjunction with a UI environment using Microsoft Excel and Visual Basic. It automatically performs the finite element modeling and structural analysis of the bolted joints according to the input variables, and the results are evaluated based on the VDI 2230 standard. Finally, the performance of the automation tool was verified through the application examples.
