Manufacture in our country and a motor vehicle sold executes for emission test of a certification that confirm availability whether is suitable in motor vehicle emission standard of our country at newly developing step on the motor vehicles. Emission certification test was carried out after calculation of deterioration factor through endurance laboratory test(millage accumulation) and then calculation that correspond in emission warranty(gasoline 160,000 km, diesel 80.000 km) in chassis dynamometer test. Final certification test result is satisfied air environmental protection law article 32 (emission standards) and then mass production. Sale is available. According to results of study, the ratio of a car that exceed appear to the LPG fueled vehicle(43%), diesel fueled vehicle(28%), gasoline fueled vehicle(24%) by emission standard test result. CO and HC appeared high emission level in a LPG car and NOx appeared diesel. Gasoline and LPG light motor vehicle CO's average, a light duty multipurpose vehicle PM's average emission standard for manufacture exceed. CO's average of LPG vehicle approximated in standard as 99% of emission standard. All item higher emission level appeared in light motor vehicle(lower 1,000cc) depend on gasoline fueled vehicle, especially 2500CC gasoline fueled vehicle was most good emission level. Need less driver's maintenance parts for improvement of this, and repairman judged that do not tempering adjustment of fuel system.
운행차 배출가스 정밀검사 결과를 이용한 가솔린 차량에 대한 배출가스 특성 분석

In this study, the following conclusions could be obtained from the analysis of emissions contribution rates and features for contaminated emissions by 13,456 gasoline vehicles passed in the vehicle load test (ASM-idle) under the inspection year 2013 to 2017. It was confirmed that the contamination of the CO, HC, NOx by the displacement is reduced on over 3L engine. As a result of comparing the exhaust gas in the low speed idle mode and the AS2525 mode, the exhaust gas in the low speed idle mode was measured high. It is estimated that if ISG function is applied, emissions from idle condition will be reduced. NOx emissions were reduced when the engine power was above 200HP. It has been confirmed that the amount of exhaust emissions are significantly reduced for vehicles manufactured after 2004. As a result of analyzing the exhaust gas according to the season, it is judged that there is a correlation between HC and NOx according to the ambient temperature. The concentration of exhaust emission in vehicles with high accumulated distance increases, which is considered to be the result of aging of the vehicle.

This paper described a study on diagnostics exhaust gas NOx of In-use Vehicle. We used KD-147, PEMS for NOx testing equipments, we checked car’s exhaust gases in real time by these equipmants. Among the rest we analyzed NOx. As a result we assured that exhaust gas is decreased gradually but NOx is rapidly increased after 2005.

RSD (Remote Sensing Device), which is a roadside measuring device, can measure the exhaust emissions of the vehicle to pass the device without any interference. RSD is capable of measuring the CO, HC, NO, CO₂ emissions of gasoline vehicles, and additionally smoke of' diesel vehicles within I second. Therefore, it can provide thousands or on-road emissions data in a day. In the present study, RSD and conventional emission test equipments were used to analyze the relationship between these equipments. From the test results, it was concluded that RSD can replace the current exhaust gas analyzer as on-road inspection or in-use vehicles, and also can be used to identify the gross emitters and clean vehicles.

RSD is capable of measuring the CO, HC, NO, CO₂ emissions from on-road vehicle within 1 second. Therefore, it can provide thousands of on-road emissions data in a day. In the present study, RSD was used to measure the exhaust emissions from the gasoline and LPG vehicles on the 27 test sites in Seoul metropolitan areas. Totally 177,849 of effective data were obtained during 104 days, and these data were used to analyze the average CO, HC and NO emissions by vehicle model year, and also to analyze the cumulative distribution by the concentration of exhaust emission for the reference to identify the low and gross emitters.
