Hydraulic engine mount is usually used to improve the noise the vibration quality. Design variables of the hydraulic engine mount, the mass of orifice fluid and viscous damping coefficient, are coupled of each other. In this study, the governing equation of hydraulic engine mount is derived and hydraulic engine mount module of DADS program is made to predict the performance in time domain. Effects of the design variables on ride quality are investigated by changing the values of hydraulic stiffness, ratio of the cross-sectional area of the upper chamber to that of the orifice, and fluid mass in the orifice. Eighteen cases are compared and an optimum value for a quarter car is proposed.

The primary objective of this study is to truly understand reaction force be due to engine exciting force. Exciting forces of the engine apply a source of the vehicle NVH(Noise, Vibration, Harshness). To understand reaction force was applied MSC.Nastran software. Analyzed frequency response analysis of powertrain mount system. First, engine exciting force was applied field function. Also nonlinear characteristics was applied field function : such as dynamic spring constant and loss factor. And nonlinear characteristics was applied CBUSH. Generally characteristics of rubber mount is constant frequency. But characteristics of hydraulic mount depend to frequency. Therefore nonlinear characteristics was applied. Powertrain mounting system be influenced by powertrain specification, mount position, mount angle and mount characteristics etc. In this study, we was analyzed effects of powertrain mounting system. And we was varied dynamics spring constant and loss factor of mounts.

The performance of the Active engine mount system to reduce the vibration from engine depends on the decoupler which acts along with actuator to switch the air pressure. The decoupler work on the change of air pressure into air chamber of engine mount and can control the vibration from engine. This paper contains the property of decouple of the pneumatic active engine mounting system and confirm the performance of this characteristic test.

In the beginning of vehicle development, it is difficult to define the concept of engine mounting system. With only the property of vehicle, we have to find the direction of engine mounting system. And it is important to find common mounts for several engine variation in order to reduce the cost and manage mounts efficiently. This paper introduces the software which has developed for engine mounting system analysis. And its function and usefulness are explained in paper. The examples have correlated between the analysis model and real model to raise the accuracy during development of engine mounting system are shown in paper.
