Facing the well-being era, diverse leisure activities are vitalized on weekends while being realized the settlement of 5-day workweek and being grown the national income. In the middle of it, the weekend recreationers are geometrically increasing who visit the mountains and the sea. Even among those things, the activation of maritime leisure boat industry is known as the very appropriate value-added leisure activity in the dimension of national health and of removing stress that can breathe closely to nature. Already in the advanced countries of maritime industry, the leisure boat activity is being recognized to be enjoyed on weekends following good house and automobile. Even in our country of being surrounded by water on three sides, the culture is assured to be likely settled that can stand for leisure activity available for people to enjoy happy and useful weekend, through policy of vitalizing leisure boat industry, not just sea bathing and fishing. Even our country’s leisure boat industry is desired to be probably driving force in industrial development by exerting competitive edge in the national dimension like automobile, ship building, and electronics in the future, by developing steadily through carrying out eco-friendly design in this maritime leisure activity. It is hoped to be able to be possibly vitality in the healthier and brighter human-friendly cultural life, by providing more diverse opportunities of eco-friendly leisure activity on weekends to modern people. 웰빙시대를 맞이하여 오일제 근무의 정착을 실현하고 국민소득이 증가하면서 주말에 다양한 여가활동이 활성화 되는 가운데 산과 바다를 찾는 주말 레크레이셔너들이 기하급수적으로 증가하고 있다. 그 중에서도 수상 레저보트산업의 활성은 자연과 밀접한 호흡을 할 수 있는 국민의 건강과 스트레스 해소 차원의 여가활동 중 매우 적절한 부가 가치적 레저 활동으로 알려지고 있다. 이미 수상레저산업의 선진국에서는 좋은 집과 자동차 다음으로 주말에 레저보트 활동을 즐기는 것으로 인식되어지고 있고 삼면이 바다인 우리나라에도 해수욕과 낚시만이 아닌 강, 호수, 바다를 활용한 레저보트산업의 활성정책을 통하여 국민의 즐겁고 유익한 주말을 즐길 수 있는 레저 활동을 대표할 수 있는 문화가 정착될 것임을 확신한다. 이러한 해양레저 활동의 친환경 디자인적 설계의 병행을 통해 체계적인 발전을 하여 향후 우리나라의 레저보트산업 또한 자동차와 조선, 전자제품등과 같이 국가적 차원에서의 경쟁력을 발휘하여 산업발전의 원동력이 될 것을 희망한다. 현대인들에게 보다 다양한 주말의 친환경 레저 활동의 기회를 제공해 줌으로서 보다 건강하고 밝은 인간 친화적 문화생활의 활력이 될 수 있기를 희망하는 바이다.
