With the continuous development of culture and technology more and more attention has been paid to the emerging cross-border integration industry which also poses new challenges to the cultivation of applied talents in design area. In order to actively meet the challenges this paper proposes solutions to the practical problems of cultivating high-quality applied design professionals for emerging industries. Focusing on the integration of culture and technology, enterprise and teaching, specialty and innovation, online teaching and offline teaching, joint guidance of graduation design, etc... deeply explore and practice the new model of mufti-dimensional integration and collaborative education of design. It sort out practical and feasible reform experience to provide reference for the training of design talents in other similar departments. The education system for design majors should adhere to the development strategy of cultural and technological integration create an innovative and entrepreneurial cultural atmosphere with contemporary characteristics of cross-border integration and collaborative innovation and effectively solve the lack of understanding. Adhere to the integration of industry and teaching for collaborative educations deepen education for innovation and entrepreneurship focus on the construction of high-quality education resources achieve results-oriented engineering education reforms.

미래학자 다니엘 핑크(Daniel Pink)는 21세기를 융합(convergence)과 콘셉트(concept)의 시대로 규정지으며 기술과 비즈니스 모델, 프로세스 등 두 가지 이상을 융합해 시너지를 만들어내는 것이 산업발전의 원동력이 될 것이라 했다. 이러한 21세기 급변하는 지식정보화 시대에 대응하기 위해서 국내 주요 대학에서도 융합 단과 대학, 혹은 융합학과 개설이 붐을 이루고 있다. 한국창의융합인재포럼의 김영록 대표이사는 아직까지는 융합시대의 산업 시장에 맞춰 고객의 니즈를 적시에 반영할 수 있는 기획과 설계 역량을 갖춘 창의적 융합형 인재가 부족한 게 현실이라고 말한다. Abraham Maslow는 교육은 지식 획득의 과정이며, 국가 및 경제 발전의 수단이며, 인간행동의 계획적 변화라고 했다. 또한 알빈 토플러(Alvin Toffler)는 ‘제3의 물결’에서 지식정보화 사회가 진전될수록 칸막이식 영역구분이 무의미해지기 때문에 이를 앞서 실행하는 국가와 기업이 주도권을 잡을 것이며, 국가 간 관계는 물론 정부 및 기업조직과 교육 시스템도 여기에 맞게 바꿔야 한다고 했다. 이는 융합교육의 필수불가결한 현재를 말해준다고 볼 수 있다. 이러한 배경에 따라 본 연구는 융합교육이 출현하게 된 배경과 국내?외 융합디자인대학의 교육과정 현황을 문헌연구와 분석 자료를 통해 혼재해 있는 융합과 디자인 인재상의 개념을 재 정의하였고, 이를 바탕으로 창의적 사고와 통합적 문제해결 능력을 갖춘 융합디자인 인재, 즉 大자형 인재상과 이러한 인재육성을 위한 5단계 구성의 융합디자인교육과정 모델을 제안하는데 그 목적이 있다. 5단계 융합디자인교육과정 모델은 다음과 같다. 인문학적 소양을 갖추는 공통영역 1단계, 디자인?경영?공학 등의 학제간 융합과 전공실력을 쌓는 2?3단계를 거쳐 융합워크숍과 세미나를 통한 학제간?다학제 연구를 하는 4단계, 마지막으로 기업과의 협업 프로젝트 진행과 전문적인 이론과정인 5단계로 구성되어진다. 이를 통해 향후 국내융합디자인교육이 겪고 있는 시행착오를 최대한 줄 일 수 있을 것으로 기대한다. The futurologist, Daniel Pink, defined 21th century as the era of convergence and concept and said making synergy effect with more than two sources like technology, business model and process would be a great driving force for the industrial development. To deal with this rapidly changing information age, local major universities are also riding the crest of the boom of opening the department of convergence. But, the chairman of Korea Creative Convergence Forum said Korea is lack of creative talented people who have the capability of planning and building to include needs of customers in the industry of convergence era. Abraham Maslow said the education is a process of knowledge acquisition, means of economic and national development and premeditated change in human behavior. Alvin Toffler said in "The Third Wave", the state and company which take the initiative in the information age, would get the leadership in 21th century and the relationship between states, governments, corporations and education systems should be changed, according to this. It shows the reality where the convergence is necessary. According to this background, this study redefines the concept of convergence and talented person for new design paradigm and suggests the type of talented person shaped like a Chinese character 大 for convergence design through the research on internal and international converging education of design. Its aim is to suggest a curriculum model of convergence design consisted with 5 steps for university to produce people with ability of creative thinking and overall problem solving skills the future society demand.
