        의사소통 훈련의 현실과 한계 -의사소통 훈련 프로그램 개발을 위한 예비적 고찰-

        Linguistic-communicative ability is one of the core qualities for social activity. There are numerous literatures and training programmes to improve this ability. As the proverb "practice makes perfect" implies, the improvement of linguistic-communicative ability through practice and training is the prerequisite of these programmes. First, we look at the actuality of communication training in order to see the origin of this myth by means of Brons-Albert`s research. This study shows that the effects of practical rhetoric communication training are slighter then we had expected. Thereafter we deal with the limitations of communication training. This theme leads to the reflection of the object of communication training and training methode. An initial limitation is that the object of communication training is clarified in the process of the consideration of automation and deautomation of linguistic-communicative ability and technique. A second restriction results from applications of Monitor Theory to filtering the objet of communication training. This article offers theoretical reflections for the linguistically meaningful development of communication training programmes.

        Cognitive-Communication Abilities in Elderly Individuals Wearing Hearing Aids through Web-Based Auditory Training

        Purpose: This study aimed to explore the impact of web-based auditory training on speech perception in noise and cognitive-communication abilities in elderly individuals wearing hearing aids. The focus was on addressing communication difficulties commonly experienced by this demographic. Methods: Twenty participants, with over 6 months of hearing aid use, were divided into a training group (undergoing 8 weeks of weekly 60-minute web-based auditory training) and a non-training group. The training program included tasks like listening to sentences in noise, short and long stories, sentence arrangement, and crossword quizzes. Various assessments, such as Korean Repeat and Recall Test and Brief test Cognitive-Communication Disorders evaluations, were conducted before and after training. The Korean version of Montreal Cognitive Assessment test served as a prescreening measure for cognitive impairments. Results: Significant improvements were observed in the training group’s speech perception in noise, recall, and cognitive-communicative abilities post-training. Conversely, the non-training group showed no statistically significant differences. Conclusion: The findings suggest that web-based auditory training holds promise for enhancing cognition and communication in elderly hearing aid users. Future studies could further explore the comparative effectiveness of auditory training by categorizing participants into face-to-face, remote, and hybrid groups. This research contributes valuable insights into addressing communication challenges in the aging population through innovative training methods.

        A Study on the Activation of Korean Disaster Safety Network (K-SafeNet)

        Purpose: The purpose of this study is to present a plan to respond well to disasters by using the Korean disaster safety communication network. The only well-established Korean disaster safety communication network in the world will be used to minimize damage to people's lives and property by exerting synergy between agencies dispatched to the disaster site by allowing various related agencies to respond to disasters in a linked manner. To ensure this, research should be conducted to make the best use of the Korean disaster safety communication network. Method: In order to suggest a way to make good use of the disaster safety communication network, research methods such as literature research, on-site inspection, and opinion collection were applied. The literature survey studied the actual state of domestic and foreign construction related to the disaster safety communication network, and the research method was applied so that the current state of use of the disaster safety deep-seated network could be confirmed through on-site surveys and opinion collection, and problems could be analyzed to suggest alternative measures. This is a research conducted in the direction of strengthening the field utilization of the disaster safety communication network. Results: As a result of the previous study, it was identified that the Korean disaster safety communication network has a well-established infrastructure and is partially utilized by disaster officials, but some of them are not properly utilized due to a lack of understanding of wireless communication between various organizations through group communication. To overcome this, communication procedures for group wireless communication should be established, disaster management should be performed using the disaster safety communication network, and disaster safety communication network training scenarios should be developed for each type of disaster so that they can be actively implemented. Conclusion: Once established, the disaster safety communication network is not complete in itself. In order for a well-established disaster safety communication network to function properly, it is necessary to develop a group wireless communication procedure for the disaster safety communication network and continue communication training in accordance with the developed communication procedure. To ensure this, continuous communication training should be conducted by actively utilizing the disaster safety communication network communication training scenario developed through this study. Since these efforts are not made in a moment, disaster management activities of disaster management officers should be established as a culture. Continuous and in-depth research should be continuously conducted to this end.

        학급단위 비폭력 의사소통훈련이 중학생의 의사소통 및 또래관계에 미치는 효과

        본 연구는 비폭력 의사소통훈련 프로그램을 중학생에게 실시하여 중학생의 의사소통 및 또래관계를 향상시키는데 효과가 있는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 위의 연구목적을 검증하기 위하여 부산광역시에 있는 D중학교 2학년 남학생 2개 반을 대상으로 실시하였다. 실험집단은 2007년 10월 26일부터 2007년 12월 28일까지 매주 창의적 재량활동 시간에 실시하였으며, 1회씩 매회 45분 정도로 10회기를 진행하였다. 장소는 D중학교 2학년 교실에서 프로그램을 진행하였다. 실험집단이 프로그램에 참여하는 동안 통제집단에는 아무런 조처도 취하지 않았다. 이 프로그램의 효과를 검증하기 위해 프로그램 실시전과 실시 직후에 의사소통과 또래관계검사를 실시하였다. 그 결과를 가지고 SPSS/MIN10.0 프로그램을 이용하여 평균과 표준편차를 구하였다. 그리고 실험통제 집단 간 비교를 위해 각 집단의 사전점수를 공변인으로 하여 두 집단의 사후점수에 대해 각각 공변량분석(ANOVA)을 하였다. 이러한 절차를 통하여 나타난 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학급단위 비폭력 의사소통훈련 프로그램에 참여한 학생들은 프로그램에 참여하지 않은 학생들보다 사후검사에서 의사소통 수준이 유의미하게 향상되었다. 둘째, 학급단위 비폭력 의사소통훈련 프로그램에 참여한 학생들은 프로그램에 참여하지 않은 학생들보다 사후검사에서 또래관계 점수가 유의미하게 향상되었다. 결론적으로 학급단위 비폭력 의사소통 훈련은 중학생의 의사소통과 또래관계를 증진시키는데 효과적임을 알 수 있다. 따라서 본 프로그램은 비폭력 의사소통을 통하여 의사소통능력과 학교생활에서의 또래관계 향상에 효과가 크다는 것을 시사한다. 그러므로 본 프로그램은 학교현장에서 중학생의 의사소통과 또래관계를 개선하기 위한 효과적인 교육적 도구로 활용될 수 있을 것이다. Most Students spend most of their time with their friends at school, build relationships with others, and form a group. However, they sometimes don`t speak their minds clearly or make troubles due to wrong communication. The purpose of this study was to develop a classroom-based nonviolent communication training program, run the program for middle school student, and identify the effect on improvement in their communication and peer relationships. As a result, experimental group with classroom-based nonviolent communication training program improved more than control group in their communication and peer relationships. The major results of this study are as follows: First, it is significant to develop a classroom-based nonviolent communication training program. There is not only a lack of previous research, but also is much to be desired on communication program which enables the whole classroom with ordinary students to be discretionary, although group counseling for elementary students or university students, adults has been supplied. Second, this result, which the program has an effect on improvement in their communication and peer relationships, can apply to prevent recent school problems including school violence and bullying. Because most of adolescents` problems are caused by lack of communication skills to identify what are needs of others and speak their minds. If interpersonal skills program using creative discretion or classroom meeting is applied, the occurrence of inter-peer problems due to wrong communication would decrease and help us prevent adolescents` problems. In conclusion, this program can apply to effective and instructive method for improving students` communication and peer relationship in school education.

        국내 의사소통장애 아동의 부모교육 효과에 관한 체계적 문헌고찰

        배경 및 목적: 본 연구는 최근 20년간 의사소통장애 아동의 부모교육에 관한 전반적인 연구 동향을 살펴보고, 향후 부모교육 연구의 시사점을 탐색하고자 시행되었다. 방법: 체계적인 문헌고찰 방법에 따라 2001년부터 2020년까지 국내 학술지에 게재된 부모교육 논문19편의 질적평가를 실시하고, 부모교육의 특성과 내용, 효과성 중심으로 분석하였다. 결과: 본 연구에서 선정된 19편의 논문은 전반적으로는 비뚤림 위험이 낮았으며, 부모교육 논문은 연간 1편 미만으로 출판이 저조하였다. 선정된 논문의 실험 참여자는 상당수가 어머니와 아동이었으며, 주로 취학전 아동을 대상으로 실시되었다. 프로그램 적용 연구에서는 실험연구를 통해서 효과성을 검증하고 있었으며, 의사소통장애 아동의 부모교육과 관련된 질적연구는 진행되지 않았다. 부모교육 프로그램의 구성 내용은 부모의 의사소통 전략향상을 통한 아동의 의사소통 행동 변화에 초점을 두고 있었으며, 중재효과는 긍정적이었다. 논의 및 결론: 의사소통장애 아동의 장애유형, 부모 요구, 사회 변화를 고려한 부모교육 프로그램의 개발과 적용 연구가 필요하며, 부모교육 프로그램의 정착과 확산을 위해서 효과적인 부모교육의 콘텐츠 및 코칭전략에 대한 개발도 필요할 것이다. Objectives: The purpose of this study was to review the research trends in regards to parent training and the speech and language development of children with communication disorders in Korea, to evaluate the effectiveness of parent training for improvement of children’s communication skills, and to provide evidence-based directions for parent training. Methods: A search of 4 databases, and manual searching resulted in the identification of 1,222 relevant articles in domestic journals. The 19 articles published from 2001 to 2020 in domestic journals were selected according to the Participants, Intervention, Comparison, and Outcomes (PICO) criteria. Three authors did article selection, data extraction, and quality assessment using the Risk of Bias for Nonrandomized studies (ROBANS). Results: First, the quality of selected articles was high overall. Second, very few studies have empirically examined the effectiveness of parent training intervention on the speech and language development of children with communication disorders. Third, most programs have been provided for mothers and no program focused on supporting fathers. Most programs focused on infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with communication disorders. Fourth, regarding studies on research type and method of data collection; most studies were conducted by experimental study. Lastly, areas of measurement involved participant interactions, development, parent perceptions, and parent experiences. The research studies reported positive effects of parent training intervention on the speech and language development of children with communication disorders. Conclusion: Based on these results, we discussed the limitations of identified studies and limitations of the current systematic review are discussed, as well as implications of the findings for research and practice for children with communication disorders regarding parent training intervention.

        일 대학병원 간호사들의 의사소통기술 훈련 요구 조사 연구

        The purpose of this study was to investigate the communication training program for registered nurses. This study presented communication effectiveness, the kinds of communication training skills received before, the kind of communication skills required in nursing performance and 10 communication skills used in the prior studies(Johnson, 1994) and surveyed their will to receive such training. The subject was 274 nurse working in the university hospital in Incheon. Data were collected from Feb. 1 to Feb, 28, 2001. The SAS program was used to analyze the collected data. The results of the study were as follows: 1. Registered nurses showed effectiveness in listening, persuasion, non-verbal skill and small group discussion. They showed mid-effectiveness in presentational speaking while technical report writing, leadership, employment interviewing and public speaking were the skills not used effectively. 2. Nurses have received the skill training of listening, small-group discussion, and leadership. The major source for this training was collage. Job-related education, high school education and continuing education program were the other sources. 3. Nurses put the value of communication skills in the job performance in the order of listening, persuasion, non-verbal skill and presentation. This accords with the items required additional training. 4. Presentational speaking and leadership were the highly preferred skills (92.3% and 91.2% Thad the will to receive communication skills training except employment interview and performance appraisal interviewing. They preferred the continuing education of the experts.

        교회 중직자 의사소통 훈련 프로그램 개발 연구

        본 연구는 교회 중직자들의 의사소통 유형 분석 및 건강한 ‘일치형’의 관계소통을 위한 훈련 프로그램을 개발하고 실천할 목적으로 진행되었다. 교회 중직자들의 영향이 매우 크지만 사명과 봉사, 헌신을 강조하는 것 외에 어떻게 서로 소통하며 직분을 감당할지 교육하거나 훈련하는 것은 매우 드물기 때문이다. 서울과 대전에 소재한 여섯 교회의 중직자 158명의 유형검사 결과 전체적으로 회유형이 가장 많았고(36.7%), 일치형(36%), 초이성형(18%) 등이 뒤를 이었다. 장로의 경우 회유형이 전체 38명 가운데 8명인 데 비해, 일치형은 18명으로 많은 점이 주목된다. 의사소통에 대한 설문 결과 눈에 띄는 것은 응답자의 60% 이상이 소통의 어려움을 느끼고 있다는 사실이었다. 그렇지만 교회에서 소통훈련을 받아본 사람은 24%에 불과하였다. 그리고 소통훈련의 필요성에 대해 89%가 동의한 것에 대해 교회는 깊이 생각하고 적절한 대처를 해야 할 것이다. 연구자들은 이러한 맥락에서 교회 중직자들이 신앙적 사고와 공감적 경청, 믿음의 실천을 통한 일치형의 소통을 할 수 있도록 크리스천 사티어–라이프웨이 의사소통 훈련 프로그램 개발을 위한 예비 연구를 수행하였다. This study was to develop a communication skills training program for church leaders, such as elder, deaconess, and deacon. Out of 158 church leaders we examined, 58 leaders turned out to belong to the ‘placating’ category of Satir model, which was followed by the ‘congruent’ one(57). The ‘blame’ ones were not many compare to other ones, but they tend to cause conflicts and struggles when issues came up. On the survey we took, more than 60% of the participants confessed their difficulties in communication. However, only 24% had communication training in the past. It is significant to notice that 89% of them agreed on the need of communication training. Out of previous studies and the needs of Christian training program, we took a preliminary program development study for church leaders based on Satir model and LifeWay approach.

      • Promote the Higher Vocational School students' communicative Competence by CS Training

        Communication strategies (CS) are all kinds of strategies that are adopted by the speakers to seek communication chances, keep the communications going, and enhance the communicative efficiency in the end. The theoretical world has different opinions on communication strategies training. Kellerman (1991) maintains that learners need not to be taught compensation strategies for dealing with gaps in vocabulary knowledge because they have already had these strategies in dealing with gaps in first language vocabulary. Ellis believes that too much successful use of communication strategies may restrain language learning. But as far as higher vocational students are concerned, the author of the article thinks that the training of communication strategies is of practical icance. For quite a long time, our foreign language teachers' ignorance the students' foreign language communicative competence has produced a lot of deaf and mute students who have a large amount of vocabulary, but can never use it in the practical life or work. The goal of I ligher Vocational Education English Syllabus is to explicitly help develop the student's communicative competence in using the English language. 커뮤니케이션 전략(CS) 이란 화자가 의사소통을 하거나 유지하고 궁극적으로는 의사소통의 효율성을 높이기 위하여 사용하는 모든 종류의 방법이다. 이론상으로는 커뮤니케이션 전락 훈련에 관한 다른 의견들이 있다. Kellerman(1991)은 그들이 이미 모국어 어휘의 차이를 다루는 이러한 전략들을 가지고 있기 때문에 어휘 지식의 차이를 다루기 위한 보완적인 전략들을 배울 필요가 없다는 입장을 유지하고 있다. Elis는 과도한 의사소통 전략의 사용이 언어 습득을 억제한다고 믿는다. 그러나 직업학교 학생들을 대상으로 생각해 볼 때 저자는 커뮤니케이션 전략 훈련이 ​실질적인 유의성을 가진다고 생각한다. 오랜 기간 동안 외국어 교사들이 학생들의 외국어 의사소통 능력에 대해 무지했기 때문에, 상당한 어휘 능력을 가지고 있지만 외국어로 듣기와 말 기를 하지 못하며 일상생활이나 직장에서 활용하지 못하는 학생들이 많이 생겨났다. 따라서 직업학교 영어 교육 요강의 목표는 학생들이 영어를 사용하는데 있어서 의사소통 능력을 향상시킬 수 있도록 도움을 주는 것이다.

        메타분석을 통한 부모교육프로그램의 효과 연구

        배경 및 목적: 아동의 언어 및 의사소통능력 발달에 있어서 부모는 중요한 역할을 한다. 중재효과의 일반화를 촉진하기 위해 부모교육의 필요성이 대두되었고, 언어장애아동부모를 대상으로 다양한 부모교육프로그램이 실시되어져 왔다. 본 연구는 메타분석을 통해 현재까지 이루어진 부모교육프로그램을 체계적으로 검토하고, 언어장애아동부모에게 실시한 부모교육이 아동의 언어 및 의사소통 능력과 부모의 상호작용 및 의사소통능력에 효과가 있는지 알아보고자 한다. 방법: 주제어를 통해 국내외 관련문헌을 검토한 후 연구의 포함과 제외기준에 따라 체계적으로 20개의 문헌을 선정하였다. 부모교육을 통한 아동의 언어 및 의사소통능력과 부모의 상호작용 및 의사소통능력의 효과크기는 무선효과모델(random effect model)을 사용하여 산출하였다. 결과: 부모교육프로그램의 효과에 대한 연구는 언어발달장애, 발달장애 및 자폐스펙트럼장애아동의 부모를 대상으로 많이 이루어졌고, 부모교육프로그램의 유형은 Hanen 프로그램을 가장 많이 사용하는 것으로 나타났다. 연구결과는 첫째, 부모교육은 아동의 수용 및 표현언어능력, 문법, 주고받기, 반응성 등 언어 및 의사소통능력에서 긍정적인 효과를 나타내었다. 둘째, 부모의 상호작용능력에서 긍정적 효과를 나타내었다. 마지막으로 언어발달장애, 발달장애 및 표현언어지체아동 집단에서 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 논의 및 결론: 부모교육프로그램은 아동의 언어 및 의사소통능력과 부모의 상호작용능력에서 모두 효과적이며 임상에서 부모교육을 적극적으로 적용하여 실시하는 것이 필요하다. Background & Objectives: Parents play an important role in their children’s language and communicative development. In order to facilitate the generalization of language intervention, parent training programs have been widely implemented. The purpose of the present metaanalysis study was to systematically investigate the extant literature on parent training and to evaluate its effectiveness on both children’s and parents’ language and communication skills. Method: Using Meta-Analysis (CMA2, Comprehensive Meta-Analysis-Ⅱ, 2005), a systematic literature review approach was taken to analyze 20 studies which met the inclusive and exclusive criteria of our research. Effect sizes for children’s and parents’ overall language and communicative skills were analyzed via the random effect model. Results: There were three main findings. First, the Hanen Program was found to be the most utilized parent training program. Additionally, the general target population for parent training was children with language impairment, developmental disorders and autistic spectrum disorders. Second, the meta-analysis results indicated that a parent training program has a positive effect on children’s language and communicative skills, receptive, expressive language, grammaticality, turntaking, responsiveness, and parent interaction. Lastly, three groups, children with language impairment, developmental disorders and expressive language delay, benefited most from the parent training. Discussion & Conclusion: The results from the present study suggest that parent training programs are effective and helpful for both children and their parents in increasing language and communicative skills. Thus, parent training programs should be actively implemented in the field of speech-language clinics for the best communicative outcome.

      • Communicative Model of Educational Transformations in the Realities of (Post) Modernity

        In the context of the pandemic, educational institutions had to ensure an instant transition to remote technological models of communication within the new conditions of the educational environment. The purpose of the academic paper lies in determining the role of the communicative model of educational transformations in the realities of (post) modernity. The research methodology is based on a survey of 120 students from 10 higher educational institutions (HEIs) of Ukraine through an online form regarding the importance of live communication during a pandemic. Results. The communicative model changed significantly during the pandemic - the interaction was mainly due to technologies. The research has identified four communication models of educational transformations under the conditions of the pandemic, depending on learning models. The first traditional model of distance learning involves distance learning; the second model involves contact remote training using remote educational technologies; the third model is blended learning, which combines remote and traditional learning formats, synchronous and asynchronous modes of interaction; the fourth model is traditional contact training. The empirical study of the effectiveness of communication models proves that live communication remains extremely important for learning and understanding of educational materials by students, and technology has provided support for such communication. Along with this, seminars and video lectures with presentations combining live communication and communication technologies are as important as digital learning tools. The most effective teaching method for mastering and memorizing educational material was a live dialogue with a teacher at seminars in ZOOM, followed by individual written assignments on the studied topic.
