액티비즘을 바탕으로 한 인터랙티브 예술 작품 제작 연구 – <디볼루션: 더 헤리티지>를 중심으로

The aims of this study are to suggest elements of interactive artwork to which Activism can be applied and to create a new prototype of the interactive artwork. Activism was originally designed for a resistance movement against the existing standardized public design and can reinforce the subjective activities in interactive artwork. This paper analyzed Activism-related studies and derived key factors on where it can be applied. Based on the derived factors, the design was proposed as a prototype of a new version of interactive artwork, deBallution. The prototype used cultural heritage, such as a Wolji image in Gyeongju of a pond in the Silla kingdom, to create interactive artwork. Based on the proposed design, this paper produced the original interactive artwork deBallution: The Heritage. Through the new Activism method, researchers and artists will increase the audience’s resistance by creating interactive artwork and expanding their artistic messages. This resistance will be based on participation of the audience members. 이번 연구의 목적은 인터랙티브 예술 작품에 액티비즘(Activism)을 적용할 수 있는 요소들을 제안하고, 이를 바탕으로 실제 인터랙티브 예술 작품의 프로토타입을 제작하는 것이다. 액티비즘은 디자인 운동으로 저항적 행동의 상징이다. 인터랙티브 예술 작품에서도 이러한 액티비즘을 통해서 관객의 행동이 더 강화되면서 주체적인 행동을 발견할 수 있다. 액티비즘에 관련된 이론들을 분석하고 액티비즘을 적용할 수 있는 핵심적인 요소들을 추출했다. 추출한 요소들을 바탕으로 인터랙티브 예술 작품 <디볼루션(deBallution)>의 새로운 버전인 <디볼루션: 더 헤리티지 (deBallution: The Heritage>의 프로토타입의 디자인을 제안했다. 제안된 디자인을 바탕으로 실제 인터랙티브 예술 작품 <디볼루션 : 더 헤리티지>를 제작했다. 앞으로 액티비즘을 적용한 인터랙티브 예술 작품을 제작할 때 이 프레임워크를 적용하면 관객들의 저항성을 높일 수 있다.
